I get so thrilled when I found something I really, really like and want Been like that with every long time dream I've haf, for example lillycat poulpy & ellana that I got.

 

i also got jaeii full set with jointed hands. i also got 2 extra heads which i might sell. i’m so excited for him i can’t wait for him to arrive

agree i like the luts body more. i’m also getting one for my sunho

i know that the luts 65 body looks great with hwayoung and sunho. i have seen a few hybrids.

 

Cool I like jointed hands! Never had pair of my own since I don't own dolls that could have them, but they seem to work pretty well. And no need to buy like 5-10 different pairs of hands

Aaaah I can’t believe it’s already been so long since ordering Jaeii. my sister is also in the hobby and I got her obsessed with DM just as much as me. We’re excited to see what the next doll will look like finished.

@Nishi the artist opens orders for like 1 week, I'm also new to these dolls so I don't know much about them. I was lucky to know about her recent doll preorder that was supposed to be available for 1 week or so but due to high demand, she closed orders in 3 days. She will probably open another order for a new doll (she doesn't resell her past dolls) when she finishes the orders for this doll (in 6 months) or until the next year. The next doll will probably Namjoon

Oh I just got today the Dollzone B60-005 body for my Sunho head and I'm in love


....ignore everything I said before, it was during night but yesterday I removed the blushing it came with and I had a chance to look at the body very closely during the daylight and make a better comparison. The match is very good, instead of 85% I would say it is like a 95% match photobucket is giving me problems but I hope to share photos soon, if anyone is interested.

It seems I've seen a hybrid with the body of Dollzone 60cm. But now the photos are not displayed for some reason.
I used to have a doll with this body, but I did not like the body: it has a one-part torso, narrow shoulders and a big ass. It was too difficult to find the right clothes. In general, my opinion you already know. I'm a fan of bodies of LUTS x))

@Nishi Sculptor Esthy does not sell old dolls. It focuses only on new dolls. Perhaps, when the sculptor will make all the guys from the BTS, if a little hope for the rest of the old dolls. Hwayoung and Sunho sold for a period of 10 days. Jaeii was planned to succumb to a period of 7 days, but the sale was closed in 2 days! The next doll will be Kim Namjoon.

I think it all depends on what you're looking for. I was looking for narrow shoulders because of the small head so the body is perfect for me. I like the torso and he can slouch! the SD13 clothes I have fit the body right (the waist is really small so I use belts but that's not a problem for me). Luts bodies are really great for those who don't like the narrow shoulders, thin waist, and huge butts lol .

The only thing I don't like is he can't cross his arms (I finally found out why other people were complaining about the arms :/ ) but other than that, I'm very happy with the body and the skin match :}

I will upload new pictures soon when I fix the problem with photobucket. I usually upload my photos to PB first, then I download them from PB to my phone to upload them to IG but PB is not letting me download the pics ~_~ and I'm on the road this weekend, I don't have my computer with me so I haven't shared Jiminie on IG yet but thank you for following me I hope you like what I'll share soon. Your boys are so sweet and I like how you match the outfits Jimin usually wears, I want to get a similar DNA outfit like Distant Memory did and the BS&T outfit....someday

I wish I’d known about sunho before! I just got into bjds and the prices on a resale sunho- even just the head are ☠️☠️☠️

 

i actually also got him full with extra 2 heads. i just payed the last payment for him >_<

i was lucky enough to get him through a friend but i still did pay 200 dollars for him without shipping. now i'm looking for hwayoung which is now easy T^T

It will take awhile until I get him how I want but he's coming along slowly. I just wish I had more time to play with him and take photos.

I feel you, I was out of the hobby when he went on sale and I almost cried when I saw the second hand prices but it was the only way I could get him. Jimin is my ultimate bias so I was willing to sacrifice a lot for him but I have seen some good prices from time to time, hopefully you can find him at a good price!

I haven't prepared at all. As
much as I want to start shopping for him, I probably won't for a while since I only got the head. Haven't decided on his body yet and will see what his proportions look like once he gets here. Super excited to be able to get this head.

@Smol_Chim There has already been 2 Jaeiis for sale even though people haven't even received their owns due to a financial things. I bet there would be few for sale since people bought 2-3 heads so they could sell the ones they don't keep

 

I have the opportunity to buy a sunho head for 250€ but it’s in white skin and I want normal. Also he has a bit of damage (scuffed ear and gap in headplate). I’m not sure if another opportunity will come up but I don’t know if I should buy it if not. It’d be my first bjd so what do you experienced collectors think?

 

In my opinion, I wouldn't get it because it doesn't fit the requirements I would be looking for (in this case, you want a no-damage, normal skin head). Especially since it would be your first doll, there may be some regret when what you are looking for does show up on the second-hand market.

 

@Smol_Chim Better buy this Sunho. It is very cheap, usually people sell very expensive.

 

@Smol_Chim You can always sell it onwards if you don't get along with the head if you end up buying it. I would suggest you to wait ^^; You still have a chance to find the head with the requirements you're looking for (no damage, ns) even though the price is higher.
Do you want the doll of your dreams quicker and cheaper, but in wrong colour and damaged or do you prefer to wait and actively trying to find the doll of your dreams in the right colour and condition? Sunhos pop up for sale pretty often nowdays it seems in both colours.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a slim, soft, boyish body that would suit Jaeii's head? I've been looking all over and I found Fdoll's 60cm Boy Body but his neck circumference may be too small... the delf body is super nice, but it's too muscular for me hehe even if the real Jungkook is a muscle man!

 

@AlicetheWizardofOz Loong Soul doll, and Dollzone both have bodies in the 60cm range that might work for what you're looking for.

Sunho has been recasted. Does every sunho have a different serial number? What does the coa look like? I’m being offered one but I think it’s a fake. Please help me.

 

I recently bought a sunho head from an ebay seller. Early sunho heads dont have coa. I have confirmed this fr sunho head owners. There was a coa issued for sunhos bought fr nobility dolls but that was issued by nobility not by dm. They have a hologram inside the head as the only proof of authenticity.

 

This is very alarming news. Recasters have already copied a Taehyung inspired sculpt from another company (I Have Doll Tune) and now Distant Memory’s being targeted. I hope you don’t mind me asking but may I know where you found news about this?

Also, as @d_caw has said, Hwayoung and Sunho didn’t have CoEs, but had a hologram sticker inside the headcap indicating the company name & serial number. If you need a photo of one, lemme know and I’ll gladly send you a photo of my Hwayoung’s headcap.=)

That’s alarming. :/ Do the recasts also come in a cylindrical box? That might also help in being an indicator to whether the head was real or not.

 

Placed an clothing order for Luts and bought a set which had a hoodie and shorts/leggins combo and joggers ready for the future They looked similar to the clothing RM wears so that's a plus.

I'm so ready for RM. I've decided the body already and bought a lot of clothing for him... Thankfully my Lillycat Ellana has a huge bum so she can wear the pants while I'm waiting for RM! (It's pain to try to find fitting pants for Ellana, so sdf65 pants are the way to go...)

 

They do not seem to come in a cylindrical container. On a brighter note: i bought a legit sunho head! He has a beautiful faceup and the seller accepted a short layaway. I’m over the moon.

 

Does anyone recommend a good body to hybrid a sunho in normal peach skin?

Heard that best sunho skin match is luts still saving up for mine. last night there was someone selking a sunho head in the doa marketplace for 500$. Im sure it is gone now

And I will look into luts. I’m being really picky with his body though. Nothing that i see screams jimin you know. I’ll need to replace his hands with smaller ones too. Gotta have those cute and tiny hands.

 

I'm going to get Luts SDF65 body in normal skin once the RM head is released. I really like the way it looks! It's a little bit muscular but not too much. That is If the RM head has the same sized neck hole as Sunho has. The new slimmer body has the same neck size as the neck hole in Sunho heads so it would match on it ^^

Other good body would be Dollzones body. Seen few hybrids with that body
