I'll have to do a side-by-side when I get Hwayoung back from getting his face-up done though ! I thought it'd be a few months before TaeYeon shipped, lol.

 

@marci12 Surprise! Congrats! You will love him. I sure do! It will be so interesting to compare the two company heads.

Here is mine with my faceup and in the brand new Sayang Durumagi by Dokkebijan that came yesterday. It was my birthday present in late October. He's on a 69cm Dollshe Arsene body. A bit imperfect match in the back of the head size-wise but even the short wig covers it well.

@Chriandra oh no, is it just delayed because of the holiday (if you're in a place that celebrates Christmas, etc.) ... or did you get an actual notice from the post office that the package was missing??

Well, he was shipped EMS on Nov 28th and hasn't moved since 'has left origin country'. I don't think it's the holidays at this point :/

ofc the first package i lose isn't something cheap and easily replaceable lol

@Chriandra Where was it shipped from? It could still be the holidays. I had a SAL package recently take over a month to arrive when SAL normally takes two weeks tops for me from Japan.

 

I had a similar experience with EMS. Had a flight number and date. I knew when it landed in US (using 17track app) then ....Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Then suddenly it was here.

 

I'm hoping that he shows up. I NEED him to show up. At this point I'm kinda losing hope though. I asked the proxy to look into it but with the holidays and everything it's just not a great time.

What's everyone's favorite wigs/companies for these boys?? I'm struggling a little.

 

Mine all use M-sire or the smaller Switch wigs.

 

Yuri just has a wig from ebay because it was just the shade of dark, dark brown that I needed. ^__^

 

Msire in which size? 1/4 or?

 

MSire 7-8inch, Luts 8-9inch, and Switch M size!

@Chriandra Sorry for the late reply. My Msire wigs are the 1/3 sized ones (20.5-22cm) on ACBJD.com. The 1/4 ones were too small, imo.

I'm getting a pair of glass eyes for Jaeii, what kind of eyes did you get for him? 10mm or 12mm? (I think most my eyes are 14mm which wont leave much white for the eyes)

 

100% prefer 14mm, small iris, personally .

 

Hi everyone! I recently discovered this company and am looking forward to when esthy re-releases the Hwayoung sculpt.

I signed up for the mailing list via the site, and checked out the question-and-answer threads there, but was wondering if there was any chatter here as to when the sculpt would be available? Seems like people are asking her almost daily when it will be released! I imagine tons of people are anxious to buy since it's been so long since Distant Memory has announced any new sales... I just hope scalpers don't take advantage of it.

I also preordered the full set and got confirmation! I thought that maybe only Koreans got it but if there are some Chinese too... Maybe it's about the internet speed? I don't know ><, but it's definitely strange. I know at least 3 people more outside Asia that tried to get him and no one got the mail and it was sent at 2pm or 2.01pm.

I wanted the full body so badly. I spent 2 years looking for Hwayoung until I got a second/third hand one less than one year ago. I bought him last year from a German girl for 1200usd, which it feels too much now compared to the official prices.... I'm thinking about posting him on the marketplace later on, since one is more than enough for me.
