Yes @nattherat - on Etsy her shop is Arttong Jun KyungSung is the one of Dennys sculptors- I used to frequent her art blog back in the day I just checked her shop she only has one sculpt now but you can message her- she’s so nice. And the sculpt you want is named Nymph. Look for Arttong on Instagram and you can see pictures of Nymph, along with Jun’s bisque dolls. She is just living life creating so many beautiful things

I'm EU based and relatively new to the hobby but I'd really love to be able to get a Flowne - how do I go about placing an order to get one? Is a group order the only way?

 

No, you can order individually! Especially for Flowne, which is one of the heads Denny is offering as standard. Follow the instructions in his email, everything is still on DOA’s front page I believe.

In some cases though a GO can help you save on shipping. It’s the same amount to ship up to four heads for example, so if you band together, it becomes more economical.

My GO isn’t as handy for that for EU participants though. I’ve tried passing the baton, but I don’t think one is going to start up.

 

I hope she restocks and you can get her I actually got Nymph as a gift cuz I bought 2 Dolces if she restocks, I’d like to get a WS Nymph and hopefully she adds SD Shine back (I also expressed I’d like to get SD Flora and if she ever made a resin version of Rose or any other sculpt, I’d snatch them up . She has a bisque doll that looks so much like Luria but with sculpted lip lines .

Hi Rinoa - do you mean Denny confirmed he could cast Owain for this order? Just want to clarify because if that's the case, I may order Owain as well as Larina for myself that would be a dream come true.

As part of my GO, I have three Laia OE and two Annabeths to put in this evening, so that will help out a little!

Yes! He confirmed Owain as Owain was in my list but I switched to Harlech for my final choice. But maybe I'll put both in. I'm still making some choices like human Morningdew or Elf Morningdew.

 

Is there going to be somewhere that will have the information posted on what other sculpts made the cut?

No no, sorry, he confirmed that Owain is possible if he gets 25 pcs. Owain was on my list of asking if they were possible or not, since some sculpts are not possible (Lloyd was one, there's been mention of others)

 

He said he would be gathering from people the sculpts they were interested in. So please email if you are interested in some!

 

Gosh, everyone's excitement is making me want to join in! I do kinda want an Annabeth, or a Laia...

 

Annabeth's numbers are, iirc, the best of any of the non-big three sculpts, so you have a decent chance of getting her if you put your name in. Laia is guaranteed at this point, I think.

(I'm signed up for two Annabeths, so I am slightly biased telling you to go for her.)

Hmm... all you Annabeth fans are swaying me I think the sculpt would be amazing for one of my boy characters, actually...

 

I thought I had a white skin version of Elf Flowne but apparently not, I'm wondering if I should join the UK GO for it just in case none of my heads are confirmed except that one. But I need to quickly check if I did order it (I can't find an order for it) so have to rummage my head storage. But my partner's family have been staying also which has made looking for my stuff difficult. Gah. Maybe I should just order anyway since the GO closes today, and if I do have one I can sell her to someone who missed out.

 

In all seriousness, male Annabeths are adorable. I support it, with only a little ulterior motive.

I was too late to add Flowne. This is what happens when I find things out too late and start waffling on what to do at the last minute. Hopefully I get more than one head confirmed. I'm considering getting a WS Annabeth as well but not 100% sure as I do want sculpts I don't have at all.

 

I reckon from the sounds of it, it seems like everyone is going to get a chance to jiggle their order around a bit when Denny confirms what heads are available in the end! The UK GO isn't closed-closed, it's just now closed to heads other than the original three Denny offered.

Also the sole orderer of Flowne in my group would be delighted if you ordered Flowne haha, because they are really worried about her not getting enough support!

 

Oh, I totally read everything wrong haha. I might put myself in for a WS Flowne, I just really need to make sure I didn't order her already before and have her stored away, because I've also just found out I have Leonora and it's Kassia I wanted. My brain is mush.

If this is directed at me, please do it ASAP! I’ve already gotten an email back from Denny asking me to lock in resin colours, so if there are any changes to my order then I want to make sure they only happen once.

Speaking of, no news from me about which wishlist sculpts are possible yet. It seems none have reached the 25pcs goal just yet, but he confirmed that the originally offered heads; Laia half-closed, Larina open, and Flowne elf, are all safe to go ahead.

"Currently Laia (Half open), Larina and Flowne(Elf) are only available.
however, I put your wish models in my list as there are some other people want to order. If there is 25pcs meets, I will email you".

So PLEASE email him if you'd like some other sculpts! Hopefully, we could reach 25pc at least for some.

I have a Larina boy who I love and I've been looking for another Larina for a while.
Can anyone tell me if Denny is taking payment now or after all the orders are in?
I would really like to put my name down but I don't get paid until the 30th and I feel that might be leaving it a bit late

 

I think if you are purchasing a standard offered head, then he will invoice straight away - since some people have been invoiced already.

However you could always state in your order email that you will need to pay on the 30th! There is a language barrier, but it isn’t a huge one, I’m sure Denny will understand as long as you’re clear in your sentences!

 

So I found my WS Flowne, but now I'm confused as I have an order email that I got H Flowne in both skin tones but can't find them. I moved a few months after that order arrived so a lot of my floating heads are in various places still.

The joy of being a fan of DiM and wanting as many sculpts as possible.

Well, looks to me like Annabeth won't be available. I just got my invoice and there was only Laia on it I will pay my invoice and ask again, if anyone else DOES get billed for Annabeth please let me know!!

 

If you don't mind asking, I'd love to know what the actual count for her is. I'd hate to miss out by like... two.

I'm delighted to hear that Denny is going to make some of the heads again; however, I can't join the pre-order because I'm currently in Russia and PayPal doesn't work for us So if someone in Europe is considering buying an extra Annabeth to put in on sale later, I will be very much willing to buy it from them ^_^ (I will be able to use PayPal after some time in autumn as I'm moving to Europe) Maybe it will encourage someone to buy one more Annabeth and reach the number

 

I'm willing to buy one upfront for you if I make the insane, ridiculous purchase I'm considering making. I am in the US, though.

Morning guys! I’m still totally nervous and excited! I ordered all three 1/4th heads and a Leonora too. I have my fingers crossed for her but I don’t think that it’s likely that we’ll get her. I’m kind of reconsidering if I should order one of the other vampire girls

 

Denny has not completed the counts yet. My GO was invoiced, but I asked Denny to hold off until he knows whether other sculpts will be made.

 

After sending Denny an email with the preliminary head count for the US GO he emailed back and regarding the wishlist sculpts, this was what he said:

"The rest of small orders are put in my list, I am gathering interest orders from customers, once they are reach to 25pcs, I will email you for sure"

I emailed back asking for clarity on this part. If this means he will continue to gather orders for the other heads past the 31st, I think that's great for everyone who wanted them, but my inexperience with GOs and all the uncertainty is making me feel nervous. I don't know if I feel comfortable taking this on past the 31st and continuing to try to figure out what's going to happen with the extra sculpts. I think maybe I'm just feeling a little frazzled. I feel better knowing there is certainty for the main 3 sculpts at least - that's what Denny said in his email as well.

So I took a little bit into my own hands to save you stress here, at least with Annabeth (I guess she's my crusade now). I emailed him asking about her count to see if it's a number I'm comfortable just paying off.

The lack of clarity was exhausting me and we're getting down to the wire, so I decided not to play telephone and go for it.

 

I appreciate it. I think I ask very direct questions, but Denny can be very vague in responses sometimes.

 

I completely believe you do, and your communication with me/our GO has been great.

I think it's partially Denny being vague and also the sheer amount of information being exchanged with GOs. All the variables mean this isn't an ordinary GO, either, so you're playing hard mode.

@staghaus @Dew_Drops Thanks both! I think I am feeling a bit less tense than you bothfor now, mostly because I am extremely busy IRL (just been working 12 hour shifts three days in a row over the weekend), so it’s easier for me to wait for that 31st date. (gotta earn me that DiM money haha!)

With Denny invoicing for my order (though agreeing to hold off until he knows sculpt numbers), I feel safe that the order is at least “in”.

With that said though, some clarity would be awesome. A lot of folk want Annabeth, and OE Laia is pretty popular too. I’ll be interested to hear what you hear back!

I don't think any of mine are going to go ahead as it was very obscure asks that I don't think many people care for sadly. I was really hoping to get Bellosse and Kassia.

I might ask if I can get a WS Laia (the confirmed one) and add a WS Annabeth though.

 

I just heard back from Denny about Annabeth, but I'm still not confident we're going to make it to 25 He said, as of 5 minutes ago:

 

I know there's a few Russian collectors who ran group orders (I was part of a few previously for DIM heads) as they have fairly popular IG accounts, and I think they could have helped get more, but obviously with the situation as it is that's not possible.
