Hey everyone! Sorry for the silly question as I already have the doll in question, but I'm unable to measure him at this time So would someone be able to tell me what size wig Luria wears? 6-7 or 7-8? If I recall correctly his head is bigger than Larina/Laia who take the smaller wigs, but still smaller than Jullis/Alpon who take the bigger wigs. Eep!

Did anyone buy with their last sale event? I saw the announcement saying that the doll doesn't come with a box and I am curious how are they going to ship the dolls?? I asked but they didn't reply that part of my question. ( ;_; )

 

for my order, which included unstrung bodies, everything was in bubble wraps. the shipping box was sized correctly or well-padded or both - it wasn't memorable in a bad or odd way if that make sense?

 

Thank you! I was afraid they are just gonna chuck them haphazardly in a random box or bubbled envelope. I wished I could have the DIM box too but oh well.

Would anyone be able to do a comparison of Larina in 12mm eyes vs. 14mm eyes? I would greatly appreciate it!

 

May as well ask in this thread too, since someone else last thread was also wondering;

What size eyes does Flowne wear?

I also wanted to know what wig size is best for her. The website says her head it about 18.3cm which is just barely over 7 inches so I'm not sure if I should get a 6-7 or a 7-8 for her.

 

12 is more better, 14 is tooo big

 

Hello, I have recently bought a Gayane head and I'm looking for a body that will fit.
I want to make her very tomboyish so I'm looking for a less petite body, small bust if possible, and I was wondering if you guys knew anything that would work.

As far as I know, Dollstown bodies fit. Both the 7yr and Elf work for Annabeth (can't remember whose pics I saw, but they were awesome enough for me to want that exact hybrid at some point) and her and Gayane are similar in size.

 

Hi! I just bought a Benetia, and the body included seems to be the glamorous one. I asked if it would be possible to have the less mature one instead, but apparently it wasn't I guess I'll have to find someone to mod her chest to fit the character properly. Anyway! Does anyone know where to find clothes which fits the glamorous body? I'm assuming the slim MSD clothes won't fit. I've been looking at Dollmore's MSD clothes but I'm unsure about the fit.

 

The Dollmore kid body had a quite small bust, to that might work. I know that the resin matches well, too.

 

I can show a DIM on a Dollmore or Dollzone body later next week if that would help.

 

I saw a video that showed a DIM Larina head on a Doll Leaves body that the owner said was a good match. Doll Leaves has a girl body with a small bust (saw it on Denver Doll).

 

Does anyone know where to get clothes for the Happy Glamorous body - mostly tops. I purchased a Larina and I would like to have a few things ready for her. Also the website says she would wear a 7/8 wig but I read in this thread that she takes a smaller size - which is the best fit? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I just ordered a Benetia head! It was not planned at all, but I've admired her on Flickr and Instagram for a long time and when I discovered that this was going to be their final sale I felt I had to buy her. Now my PW Vampire Dotty Muse can have a friend. I think I'll name her Briala

 

Thank you! The faceup is by Greenwolfy and when she posted her on her instagram, I did not hesitate for a second and adopted her, I just loooove that faceup and it goes so well with Larina's features. ^_^

I'm thinking of modding my incoming Larina! I want her eyes to be kind of in-between half-closed and open.

 

After looking at multiple bodies I am considering the Impldoll boy body because I want my Gayane to look fairly masculine, and I was planning on modding the body anyway, does anyone have a resin comparison of the two?

 

i've ordered two of the new UV skin impldolls, they should be here by christmas, and my DIM stuff maybe in january, if no one else has given you a comparison by then i'd be happy too~
although, i'm fairly sure impldoll does resinmatching? you could ask them! they have really great customer service, i don't think i had to wait over 24 hours for a reply any of the times i messaged them.

Here is Flowne on the Happy New Girl body. The neck is going to need work, but right now that is a problem for another day...

A question about the body though, to anyone who has it. I can't seem to get her to sit up without either having her torso joint clicked to be slouching, or her leg joint clicked out like this:



Is the leg joint sticking out like that the only way? Is it normal to use that joint like that? None of my other dolls work like this.

Here is a picture of her sitting using the slouch joint instead:



As you can see in the background, my kid delf sits perfectly fine without messing with the leg or torso joints.

@astromayhem : I had the same problem as you...That's why I sold the body. My dolls are always sitting so for me it's really important. I also find that this body is really weird. The joints are too much bigger for the arms.

Also, I wanted to know if someone here have D.I.M hybrid with Resinsoul Rong body ?
- How is the resin match ?
- Is the neck fitting well ?

I've been thinking of buying Doll leaves body for my girls (Morningdew and Benetia). I came across a good review ^__^

Box opening is up, too. Annabeth is my only MSD so far, so there won't be any head-switcheroo - but I'm hoping for MSC-friendly temperatures tomorrow so I can do her faceup.

 

That looks like it's going to be a great group! May I ask, what company made the body with the blue sleeves? Those hands are lovely.

 

They're all DiM, just the wrong scale for this thread. The blue sleeved one is Lestia on the Love New girl body, Marcellina on the right is on the old Love 2.0.

 

Wow, I didn't know there was such a difference in their heights. I should have known they were all DIM -- they make such beautiful hands! I just emailed DIM to ask if they'd sell me some Happy girl hands to go with my heads. I expect they'll say no, but it doesn't hurt to ask, right?

It's amazing how versitile DiM boys are. I haven't taking Isaac (DiM Alpon) out in awhile, but thought I'd make him some realistic eyes. It totally changed his look!

I am so excited, my Annabeth and Larina heads have been shipped, so very quick. I can't wait to see them but like a previous poster I am waiting for bodies, I have decided what to get but need to save the money to order them so it is going to be a long time with floating heads.

 

@RedYume Oooh, I love your boy! You don't see a lot of Alpon's around here, I get so excited when owners share photos of him! Those eyes are brilliant in him

 

I'll be happy to share photos of my Flowne on an AE body when she arrives. Although her own AE body is not yet here, I do have another one that belongs to another of my dolls I am hoping that I made the right choice of body. But I'll find out in just as few more days

My Doll in Mind Flowen would finally arrived on Thuseday so i've got a few Questions about her.

01.) Witch Wig Size do you use for her? DIM says 7-8 Inch but does it really fit her? I planned on getting her a dark wig so i would use a wig cap under the Wig, is it better to order the wig a size bigger?

02.) Now the size of her eyes. DIM says her fits 14mm eyes , but i'm not really sure because her eyes seems pretty big. My Twins were 12mm eyes and they fit perfectly fine so witch size do you use for her?

My heads got posted on Friday, I am so excited, can't wait for them to arrive. They have been so quick in the making of them I only ordered them on the 14 November. Also my DollLeaves body is on the way so at least only one will be a floating head.

 

Hello, I just wanted to pop in and say that everyone's lovelies are so cute! I ordered my first doll from them in November, Larina with the new boy body, and seeing everyone's dolls is making me so excited for him to come home. He was an unplanned purchase but I didn't want to lose my chance to get him since he's perfect for one of my characters.

My order moved to before shipping so I got really excited.

I'm also really excited to see what they have in mind for after!

 

I actually had a hard time getting a 6-7 wig on my HCE Larina and ended up going to the next size up, so maybe try a 7-8?

Speaking of my HCE Larina, I have some plans I want to gush about!

I'm thinking that I would like to modify her into an elf/fantasy head. But... instead of modding onto her existing ears... I want to sand them off and cut slots for replaceable ears. (And if I really feel crazy, I might try to cast them in resin.)

I got my Flowne head in, and I tried her on the body she'll be sharing until her's arrives! The match isn't perfect, but serviceable, I think. The posing of this body is fantastic though. The photo itself is a tiny bit at an angle, but I think you still get the general idea of how well she balances.

hi everyone.....I have a Flowne head coming, but I am planning on hybriding her.....anyone know good resin matches?

 

I just wanted to say, my order shipped faster than I thought it would AND my post service is delivering on Sundays this month so I was completely surprised by my boy's arrival today!


I just had to share. The body was so cute. I am so excited and I hope this isn't my last doll from them. So cute!

 

I'm so torn. I was originally going to put my incoming Laia on a Xagadoll body because I know the match would be PERF but...I have always wanted a doll on the artvolume bod by leeke and I saw a DIM on one the other day and it was soooo cute ogosh. Her original character plans never had a chubby body, quite an opposite, but I can see it fitting her character quite well in retrospect. I will be opening her eyes for a doe eyes look. Her name is Sira and she's a girl from Ireland who likes to read and write and is very shy. She becomes a magical girl with four other friends. I like to have diversity in my dolls, however, so a chubster magical girl isn't out of reach in my world. She'll have glasses and twin brunette braids and green eyes. She'll be SO cute, but...slim or chubby? That is the question?

@xkelpiex - Ooh, the art volume body is what I got for my Laia too! That character design sounds super adorable as a pear shaped girl

 

@Cydril Do you have them together yet? Would you mind taking some pics for me?

 

I am still waiting on my Laia head, otherwise I would. There's a couple Laias on Flickr on the regular LeekeWorld art body, those pics are what sold me on the idea

 

I was thinking about putting Flowne on either a minifee body or a DZ body......but can't decide, I need to try and find some reference photos
