Feels strange to be moving her off my wish list... though I was talking with my husband and I might get a second one of her in one of the normal colors down the road, so I might keep her on my wish list after all!

I placed my order last night!

I have the dress and eyes already. I am waiting on the wig, and I will be ordering the shoes as soon as some of my friends figure out what they want to get from the website I am ordering them from (yay for free shipping and event items!).


Originally she was going to have a pure white wig and a crimson Fer, but my other MSD girl stole the dress!

I also have this outfit and the boots. I am sure the two girls are going to fight over it. ^_^;

 

I fell in love with this adorable msd Dikadoll but I've only seen her on ebay. Its the limited new years girl. I really love her face (head) and I was thinking about getting pure white skin. Then hoping mystic kids would match pretty well. I am going to do more research if possible but I having some trouble finding photos of just pure white skin photos.

 

How exciting! Beautiful plans for her. I love that Luts outfit and can see why your two girls will end up fighting over it.

I've decided that I wanna get my cute AAAAA a professional face up also... so I am having a hard time deciding... I want her to have either lip ring p r nose ring. D8 then everything else. I want natural but cool looking. .

 

I will spam her, even though she will be blank for a bit. I am still deciding who to send her off to for a faceup.
I got her wig in tonight! Now all she need is her shoes which should ship with her. I hope they will match her dress as the photos suggest.

If you are going to do one or the other, I vote lip ring! It seems less common.

 

even though my girl doesnt have a face up i attempted lip and nose ring because i just couldn't decied.. after attempting many times... i think i will just do nose ring... because my luck. i get the lip ring and within 10 mins the ring falls off and face up cracks. D;

I was a little worried she would not be a dark enough grey, but I asked them not to sand her and she turned so wonderful. She does still have a little bit of marbling, but it is not very bad, and both of the outfits I have for her will cover those spots up.

Just fell head over heels for AAAAA!! How are Dika Doll bodies? (any photos of AAAAA would be appreciated!)

The bodies are nice, but flat as a board. The girl's body is pretty much the same as the boy's body.

 

So adorable!! I'm so in love with that face sculpt! Ohhh that's interesting, luckily the character I'm planning is fairly flat chested(: Do you mind if I ask how the joints are? Do they look alright compared to others? Also do they pose okay? I'm just wondering because I'm considering buying a Luts Kid Delf since they're a similar price, but I was wondering about quality comparison.

They have double joints so they can do cute poses. (I no longer use this body because I disliked the flatness so it's boxed away.. )

I like the fact that Dika girls are gently endowed. I have an older Kid Delf, so my Rena fits right in with my Kid Delf's thicker, less endowed body. I got a boy Kid Delf and he look almost like a mature mini instead of a immature one.. so much so I ended up selling him. Now I am thinking I might get a Guang Nian to go with my little msd group.

I personally love the 1/4 Dikadoll body. My girl poses well and is sturdy when standing. Her resin is strong, too, although I will note that I'm not a big fan of her hands (they are bigger than most of my other girls').

I keep trying to save up for her faceup, but I am getting a new job and had to buy a bunch of business clothing and both my kitties had vet trips recently (the unplanned and expensive kind).

Hello everyone! I hope it's alright if I pop on in here and maybe see if anyone can answer my questions? I've been eyeing the Dika 46cm boy body (I think it's version II?) for awhile now as it's perfect for what I need. However, I was hoping to put a Doll in Mind head on it, and I don't know if this hybrid will work. I don't care about resin match, only if the proportions will mesh. According to their websites they have a 4cm difference in their neck sizes and I don't know if that's major enough to mess it up or if it will still be okay. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

 

So my cute adorable Peony borrowed another doll's body. I was trying different wigs and eyes on her because I was trying to figure out how I want her to look like. I am currently figuring out what kind of body I wanna use.

I haven't found a newer Soom body second hand yet, so I deiced to see what companies have paper white skin. I know Mystic Kids white used to be super white but my yosd has yellowed (maybe) a bit after two yrs.

 

Hmm... have you looked at GuuDoll? They offer two whites: one is creamy while the other is supposedly snow white. I don't know which one is which by their labels, though.

I own a GuuDoll Verona and will say that her body is wonderful---I like it more than my Mystic Kids body. Good luck with your search!

 

The only bad thing is they don't sell just msd sized bodies alone. I don't wanna buy a whole doll... I don't wanna look for a split partner but I will keep this in mind thou! Thanks for the reference!
Edit: Realized Alice Collection has the msd sized, now i'm tempted. (also because it's under $200 because of sale)

Here's my Dikadoll AAAAA (NS-Pink) on the 1/4 GUUDoll body (WS---not snow white). IMO I think the proportions look pretty good! Sorry the resins aren't what you're looking for, though.

 

Dika Dolls are amazing! I used to own a Blanca!
Their resin is pretty nice and joints are pretty good! Only negative was the small feet on the msd.

 

Dikadoll has released a new sculpt named CC (Sissy?)...and a brand new slim MSD body along with it! So far both are only available in China but I'm looking forward to the overseas release!

Dika seems to have released two new 1/4 girls, if I am correct in my understanding.

And this girl has me quite taken.. I think I want to order her in the future. I hope she is not on the new slim body, as I am sort of getting away from the slim MSDs D:

I think their eye choice for her promotion photos is a bit strange, though. They are a bit distracting to me! Haha

 

Yes, Rose and Canary are new (as well as quite adorable).

If you order via Alice's Collections, you can chose the doll's body type. The one you'd want to select is Body Ver. 1, I believe. They are 12% off atm and come with a free event item (clothes).

My AAAAA is on the Ver. 1 body and she wears most MSD-sized clothes easily. Clothes made for MNF, Unoa, etc. are too tight for her, however.

Interesting how the Ver. II body's measurements are so similar to Ver. I. Is Ver. II really slim MSD?


Also, 5A is definitely on my list SUCH a cute sculpt! You and I really do have such similar taste in sculpts xD

 

Hehehe, thank ya. I'm happy you like my dear Phoebe. The AAAAA sculpt truly is a sweet one (I just wish Dikadoll had given her a better name. What does 5A mean, anyway?!).

As far as her body goes, I would not lump her with my slim minis. She has a little more girth, especially in her chest, waist, and thighs. Her resin is heavy and I'd say overall she is huskier. Her hands also look more childlike compared to my slims.

Here's an old comparison that can help you see her body. She's not nearly as curvy as, say, my MNF or Loongsoul mini. I'd lump the Version 1 Dikadoll body along with older Kid Delf bodies and the Bambicrony Brava Bambi body.
