    1. * What did you order? Dollheart boots and some underfulls stockings
      * How was the communication? They were great! Wendy even explained to me about how Dollheart doesn't always keep the same stock so I knew to get the boots while I had a chance!
      * How easy was it to pay? Extremely easy. Walked into the store and they let me pay part cash part credit.
      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Yup! The boots are some of the best quality I've seen and the stocking are super nice too! Well worth the $40 I spent!
      * Were you satisfied with the product? Couldn't be happier!
      * Would you order from this company again? All of the time. I wanna live in their store haha!
      * Would you buy this company's products second-hand? I have in the past they carry great stuff!
      NOTE: I went in to the store and bought the items rather than ordering online, however I have ordered online before and they are great to work with. The ladies at the store are very nice and always work hard to answer all your questions even the stupid ones! I will always be a loyal customer to them!

      * How was the communication? There wasn't much communication at all. But the only time I conversed (regarding a question about my card transaction went through) they were very nice about it and quick to respond. So I say it was good :)
      * How easy was it to pay? It was very easy with credit card. At first I was worried because my transactions didn't work with LUTS until I called the card company, but with DDE there were 0 problems :)
      * How long did it take to ship? They shipped my items the very next day.

      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? Though I am very satisfied, I think my wig cap looks too small for my doll (it's a size 4, and my doll is a Luts HDF Pie). I'm not going to bring it up with them, since it is not their problem but a mistake I made myself :3

      NO Since i dont have it after 14 WEEKS

      Story: Basically DDE has failed to give any kind of update unless I email them for my mother, in which I had come to find out that the free event baby was not in the order that they had gotten from IMPL and that it was delayed due to the holiday, which was fine, however they didnt explain if they had reorder it or what not. Its been over 14 WEEKS and others who have ordered the same thing (EXACT) have gotten their orders well before me and had (they) ordered WELL after me...

      And for my order that i had done on the 24th it was for an in stock doll and free event doll that had to be preordered, in which they did not remark that it would be a problem for that, since it was part of the free event. My Christoper has a broken thigh joint that was sent about the same day, and they said that her replacement and the free event doll would be in by valentines day. I do understand that it was the chinese new year but it seems like my order was the only one unfilled.

      Will NOT order with Denver Doll again, unless its an item that is in stock but will use that as a last resort. They are nice and very quick in replying, but they give shallow answers and do not inform when there has been issues with an order. Its bad business and I am going to call Tuesday to enquire about the doll and if we cant reach an agreement about it, then I am going to insist on my money back

They answered and said if I order with a faceup, I'd get a pair of eyes. I was counting on this. I would have ordered a pair to save of shipping if they had said no. When my head came in, I DID get eyes. Only they were too small D: So they don't fit.
      * If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? I e-mailed DDE and asked what could be done. They said Leeke didn't send any eyes and that the eyes I got were from their personal stock. So there was nothing they could do. :\ That kinda made me upset. Now I don't have any eyes for him.

      There wasn't much, but it went fine.

      Very- I did a 4 part layaway, and was invoiced automatically through Paypal.

      How long did it take to ship?
      From DDE to me took 2 days! I got the notice on 28 March, and received my package on 30 March. The wait from Fairyland was about as expected, given that I ordered during the Winter Event.

      Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Yes.

      Very! :) They did forget to send my gift item, the Cupid2.2 face, with my original order though.

      A few months obviously because of the doll, but once they received the doll, they shipped him out right away and I got the order within a few days. ^^

      Originally it was planned that if I ordered in October, maybe I'd receive everything before Christmas, or by my birthday(in January), but it ended up that nobody really knew what was going on with the doll, but that it wasn't going to arrive by that time. The peopled at DDE were so sweet though. They responded very quickly to email and they actually offered to refund back the money that was out towards the doll so far and to cancel since the doll wasn't coming by the expected time. ((I just waited though.)) When the doll finally did come, they actually shipped out everything right away(and with very quick shipping), which was nice. Everything came nice in a big cardboard box with the doll box and the eyes and wig. ^^

    16. i haven't ordered anything through them, but i do go to their store in person and have purchased two dolls from them. the dolls are in perfect condition, and they have a great in-store selection of wigs, eyes, and clothing, along with several dolls. my sister picked out Elysia (BBB march) for the sheer reason that she was there, in stock, and got ho hold her and bond with her before purchasing. wendy and the other employees are quite helpful, and i do plan to order through them in the future.

      How was the communication? At first, they replied to my emails withing a day or two, but starting around the 20 of March, they no longer replied to my emails. I didn't even receive an email saying she had shipped.
      How easy was it to pay? Quite. I chose 4 month layaway
      How long did it take to ship? The first time, it shipped March 15th. However, they sent the wrong doll by mistake. According to the tracking number on the box when I received it, it shipped April 16th and arrived on the 20th.
      Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Yes.
      Did the item look like the sales pictures? Yes, even better actually.
      Were you satisfied with the product? Quite when I finally got my DES.

      * How was the communication? Very good overall. I had sent an email three days prior to ordering, wondering about the color and quality between two different red eyes, to see which one was more "red" and not "orange red". They answered promptly, but a little after the time that I had already placed my order (which isn't really their fault, I was just kind of impatient in waiting for a reply and getting my eyes ordered XD). In the end, they still answered my questions and said that they definitely recommended the eyes that I had chosen because they were red, whereas the other one I had talked about were more orange. Regardless, they were very kind in answering, helpful, and generously informative anyways. It took about 2 to 3-ish days for them to reply to my email, which is quite fast in consideration.

      * How easy was it to pay? Like 1, 2, and 3 with Paypal, so very easy.

      * How long did it take to ship? They shipped on March 11, so they shipped out the very next day after I had ordered.

      * Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? I believe so.

      NOTE: With the exception of possible exception of Leekeworld, I'd much rather purchase my dolls through DDE, than through the individual doll companies. DDE's customer service and product handling always impresses me... unlike the service I've gotten from some doll companies. The communication is always top notch with DDE, and they're VERY careful to get my order right, every time-- and I always get a shipping notice so that I can stalk my mailman for the appropriate timeframe. Any delays in delivering my orders seem to ALWAYS match up to delayed delivery times from the actual doll companies (not anything DDE can help), so I don't really count that against DDE. PLUS (!!) now and then they'll have an item in stock that's been discontinued, or sold out from the doll companies. It's like Christmas, every time! :) The girls there are very friendly, helpful, and patient. I :aheartbea Denver Doll... can't wait to move back to Colorado so that I can visit the store in person! :)

      Yes, even though I still don't have my Zoe - their prices match direct order prices, so they are very fair.

      There was a cast problem with Kiki's leg, but I turned down full refund DDE offered me to keep her, so I must have been in love with that pig :) Seriously, very happy. I have two more non-shipped pre-orders with them, so I will be back to this thread.
       
    23. I have ordered from Denver Doll twice in the past, first time some clothing items and the second time a limited Pipos Charlotte fullset. Both times were a great shopping experience for me as the shipping was fast, communications prompt and items were all as good as expected or even better :) I will definitely order from DDE again in the future.

      Seeing as Fairyland was behind on orders, she was not sent to DDE until May. However, as soon as DDE received her she was shipped right out on May 16th and arrived on the 23rd. :) So it was great!

      My Maarit is so much more beautiful in person! It makes me so glad that DDE carries Fairyland, otherwise I would never have gotten her!

    27. I have mixed feelings about DDE I have ordered only a couple of times from them and for the most part they were great, up until now. I just had them drop the ball big time on my last order which was a minifee vamp elf girl woosoo with a line body and faceup the order was placed and paid in full on Jan 1 or 2 of 2011. To make a long story short at the end of March I received a doll but it not the doll I ordered it was a human woosoo. I called the next day thinking they got my order mixed up with someone elses and they said they would call Fairyland and call me back, they didn't call me back so i called them. The person didn't even apologise that's a pretty big screw up don't you think I would atleast get an apology I still haven't gotten an apology from them! They said Fairyland would do a rush on another head that it would take a couple of weeks they would then send the head with and return shipping label in the box to send the other head back to them. They would notify me when they receive the head from Fairyland after two weeks I called and a couple of times since then nothing no apology nothing. Last Tuesday when I was out of town of coarse I get and email saying the head was shipped to me, I emailed them saying i'm out of town that I won't be back until the following weekend, I did get a reply that saying it's fine. When I received and opened the head on Tuesday 6/2 it was the right head but nothing else, no note, no return shipping label. so I have to go up to the post office and pay for shipping back their mistake and tell myself i'm sorry for ordering from DDE in the first place!

    30. After waiting 3 months for my PKF Bonnie that I bought direct from Fairyland, I have never thought of buying direct again. Why? Because most all of my dolls that I desire & doll needs, such as clothing, wigs, eyes, etc., can be purchased a DDE. I've purchased almost everything I own from them! It arrives from CO to CA within 5 days, tops, every single time.

      They are very kind, trustworthy, and funny, too -- I've send them several e-mails stating that I had forgotten to submit my order, thinking that I did, and they know this as a "character trait" of mine and have a good time teasing me and calming me down and ensuring me that they can fix any issue I may have.

      If it weren't for these guys, I can't imagine life with dolls. I really couldn't. I try not to buy direct anymore, preferring only very reputable stores via online, located here within the US. DDE is my #1 choice -- and I have told them that several times!

    34. I have mixed feelings about DDE. I've ordered from them 3 times now. The first time was a wig, it was great, I was happy. The second time I ordered from them was a 5StarDoll Tong Tong that wasn't instock. While I realized I would have to wait, I didn't expect all the complications that came when it came time to ship to me. Along with my doll I had ordered two pairs of shoes, the shoes are wonderful. However, the free gift from the original doll company that they said would be included was not. The free stuff they promised my boyfriend that would be in there on account of because of their mistake (my order was put in in time to get with their mass order to the company, but for whatever reason my order wasn't placed with it and so it was put in almost a month later) the package didn't arrive for my birthday, wasn't in there. They also sent me the shipping information for the wrong order, twice. When asked about the items missing that had been promised, all I got was a "Sorry you had problems before, thanks for giving us another chance" which came when I broke down and ordered some socks through them. I will probably never use DDE again.

    37. Didn't order anything. Instead I was able to actually go to Denver Doll. I went once before in Nov 2009. Today they were as helpful as then. I had a list of items I for sure wanted as well as some items I wanted to take a look at and they even let me try an outfit for 5Star tinies on a LTF girl they had on hand. By the way the dress was to big around body. Length was not an issue but the dress was just to loose.

      I bought quite a bit, but every item I bought I know will work for my kids back home. I am on vacation so was lucky to get to go to DDE and very happy they let me have a great day.

      (This has more to do with Fairyland than DDE) Yes, since FL has had their prices increase, I have noticed a better quality in their BJDs. They have a better feeling to them than some of the ones I purchased in 2010 and early 2011, and there are less defects than the previously mentioned dolls. While I did pay a little extra for the hands and wigs going through DDE rather than the company, I did not mind paying the extra dollar or two to save me $40-50 on shipping and without having to join a G.O.

      Yes, very. I will continue to buy from FL and especially DDE.

    57. I'm doing this review because I have had less than spectacular results from DDE, to the point that I refuse to give them any more of my business.

      My Dollzone Cosmo order very early this year:

      I had to do a lot of research myself to be sure the Cosmo head would work on the 72cm DZ body. Dollzone themselves said it would work when I asked via email, and I saw a Roderich head on that body via a thread here on DoA, so I knew that while it might work, there should be a huge neck gap. I was okay with that because I wanted the doll a specific height to scale with my other dolls, as his character is extremely tall. So, I called ahead, explained the whole thing to DDE, and mentioned Cosmo's head wasn't on their site but it was on Dollzone's, so they said something to the effect of "if it's on their site, we sell it. just order a Chen head or something and then put in the order notes that you want Cosmo's head instead." Done and done a few minutes later. I don't remember who I talked to, but they said they would keep an eye out for that specific order.

      Now comes the weird part. Excited that one of my most important character dolls was finally on order, I waited for the paypal invoice. And waited. And I think it was two days later I finally emailed and asked where it was. And I get back, "we're not sure if we should sell you this combination, we're not sure it works." *facepalm* If I order a head/body combo that doesn't work, it's myyyy fauuuult. But I already talked about this over the phone! At length! So finally I do get the invoice after reassuring them that yes, I do want to order what I... ordered. Y'know? After that, it all went fine. I would have overlooked that (and actually forgot about it) until the next problem with a different order.

      My MNF Luka fullset order very early this year:

      I have left Fairyland some pretty nasty feedback over their product (plus making DDE orders wait 4 months while direct orders were filled in 2 months or less), but this is the part that applies specifically to DDE. I qualified for the MNF sleeping elf vampire Chloe head, but to the best of my knowledge there was no event info posted on DDE's site for the MNF line at that time because the event had just started, and also FL had just said on their twitter that there would be no MNF event item, which was a surprise to everyone watching them. The going theory was that the item wasn't approved for some reason... but I digress. FL then out of the blue unveils the MNF vampire chloe head and happy joy, event item after all.

      I emailed DDE partly to say that I'd qualified for the head, as I had no other idea how I was supposed to inform them if they needed to be informed (seriously, it's an event item I qualify for, why should I have to ask for it unless I am specifying a resin color or something... but MoC does it this way too BUT the info is very easy to find on how to say "I want the item"), and also mentioned that their site was bugged to order a fullset Rhea that wasn't even available anymore, instead of Luka. They got that part figured out for me fairly quickly... and apparently ignored the rest. Come eventual doll arrival, no event head. I emailed and they said "you were supposed to mention it in the ordering notes." Apparently this was in the event info posted somewhere on the site, y'know, the info I couldn't find and that I worried over and thus included the mention about in the order-straightening-up email in the first place. They tried to offer me a choice between two previous event heads, neither of which I wanted because I was very excited about the vampire Chloe one; the other option was to wait and "hope we get another one." I chose to wait.

      FL should have shipped all qualifying orders with event heads, unless DDE told them, "this order does not want the event head" which is silly because DDE could sell the head and I do believe all dealers keep the unclaimed event items to sell... well, then, the other choice is that they sold my event head, and fast. After four months already spent waiting on a fully-paid doll, I had to wait another month thinking I would never see the event head I wanted until it finally did ship. I had considered it a lost cause by then, but I am glad I did finally get what I was due.

      This is my tale, I am not a happy camper but I am liking Mint On Card now, so... sorry DDE. You do things like this, your customers get tired of it. And they tell other people about it. Where before I would refer people to DDE, I refer them to MoC now. When someone else in a thread I'm in recommends DDE, I summarize my experience and refer them to MoC. 'Nuff said.
