Trying not to freak out but I always have terrible luck with USPS... Korean EMS says 'delivered to destination post' but USPS says they haven't received it and it has been over two weeks. Wondering I should open a claim.

 

It's either in customs still or hasn't left South Korea. I have beengiven a flight number from SK only to have it leave a week later.

 

It took mine like over a week to leave korea. Just email the company to be sure. Mine said the same thing until the package reached America.

 

It did leave Korea because the EMS tracking says it was given to San Francisco and then delivered to the LA airport. But there’s no inbound into customs scan.

 

Hey guys! I'm wondering if anyone has heard anything regarding pre-orders of summerbird bjd's Viola and phoenixdolls Liu?

I've been waiting to order but Phoenixdolls has had all heads out of stock for a while and summerbird hasn't posted a single update regarding the next release. I messaged back in January and she said she'd be posting an update soon but nothing yet. Has anyone else had luck with any updates?

 

My Larina head is finally passed custom and scheduled on delivery tomorrow, I’m sooo exited! It took 13 days , non priority mail from Latvia to Japan.

PS. I praying for Russian customs will release all packages without any looses soon. Russian post are black hole and it’s stress.

@Crissy1412 I see. They missed a lot of scans for your package but it cleared customs fairly quick. Hopefully mine will have an update soon. I plan to file a missing mail search at the one month mark. Thank you for sharing!

 

I'm living in Germany, but I also have international shipping delays at the moment.

My 'Registered Mail' package from Japan arrived on time.

There was no problem.

But my two packets (USPS / First Class Package International Service) from the USA don't move. Both are still 'In-Transit' at the 'Los Angeles CA International Distribution Center' .

Hopefully they going to arrive at my place, soon.

 

Still zero updates on my Mandarake package. April 10th to May 26th so far.

 

@dragoneye1300 My parcels in the USA are doing the exact same thing, some have been waiting for over a month to leave the country.

 

China EMS package has finally been cleared by customs after almost 20 days

I have 6 packages coming. None have moved in 5 days from China, Japan. Estonia, Germany, Russia. My Japanese package has been in posting/collecting since 4/13.

 

We must be really patient to receive our parcels...

Finally my two USA packets reached after the USPS regional facility a new 'In-Transit' point:
They have arrived at an origin transfer airport in Los Angeles. Maybe that's a good sign.

I have one package coming from China that was shipped via EMS.
Was shipped April 9th, and until May 9th there was no update, just that it was sitting in Beijing. May 9th there was an update that basically said its going to board an airplane, but since then there was no update again

It's a Taobao order, so stuff from several sellers in one package, so even if it gets lost I won't really be able to get a replacement. Sigh.
I will be so relieved once it hits Germany.

Iplehouse claimed to send one of my doll orders soon, but I'm afraid it will also tour around forever. I also have two custom eye orders from Chinese makers that will be shipped sooner or later, just hoping for the best there I guess

 

Still waiting to see what's going on with my wig package from MSire, though it sounds like China's EMS just isn't exiting currently at all. I figure I'll wait a bit longer, possibly a month after my previous communication before I follow up on it.
I have one doll that is (unexpectedly early) making it's way out of Korea. It's so far taken four days (Korean time) to make it from Withdoll over to being handed over to the airline. I'm always kind of thankful that Korea post does so much updating, because you can see just how different it is. I'll have to wait to see when the airline actually has my package in motion and then how long JFK customs will take.
Lastly I have a blu ray parcel in Japan that's just sitting there. Checked in with the sender and they said with the stops to mail, news over there is they're expecting a several month delay on some of the parcel mail that's leaving Japan.

 

Going on day 79 for an EMS package from China to US... when do I lose hope? Last scan was May 18th as "handed over for air transportation" in Beijing. Hopefully that's a good sign!

 

After about six weeks of waiting, one of my USA parcels arrived at the transfer airport in Germany. Yay! Then I expect it should come to my home in no time.I hope that the other USA parcel will follow, soon.

 

Still waiting on my DDS Sailor Moon It hasn’t moved past the initial acceptance since April 17th. I contacted the seller and they think it will get sent back to them at this point...

My package from Belarus and Germany are in New York! Seven other orders languish, mostly from China.

 

I’ve been waiting for my order from Alice’s Collections for 92 days (since march 2nd) with no updates
I don’t know how to proceed from here. Maybe I should ask for a refund? I know it is not their fault but still...

 

I don't know where you're located but it took me almost 2 months to get a package from them, pre covid. I think it was back in july or August of last year. They're usually really good about replying if you email them. Maybe you can ask them to look in to it for you?

 

My package magically materialized today! After 82 days in transit It was also miraculously in perfect shape, despite having quite the journey. There is hope yet!

 

Joining in with a package coming from Japan via DHL. I could have waited and ordered anytime, but since the doll was in stock at Mandarake and like new for a 4yr old sculpt, I decided I didn’t want to risk missing her. DHL was expensive ($90 for a vinyl doll), but I knew I’d be paying a premium during this time.

Now I just hope it will be with me by the weekend.

 

Yay! Today I've got the message that I can pick up both of my two US parcels at the post office tomorrow. It seems I will get them without customs charges. Because there is no mention about it on the information card.
The packages took approximately 5-7 weeks to get to Germany.

 

I had an order with them stuck in postal limbo since 10.March.
Thankfully it finally moved three days ago and even arrived today.

Does any one know if Denver doll is being effected? They dont give tracking till they get the doll amd ship it to you

 

That's normal. Dealers don't give you the tracking for a box that might contain your doll; they give you the tracking for your specific doll when they ship that doll to you.

 

My DHL package from Mandarake is out for delivery! It’s a day earlier than originally quoted. About four days, and no extra charges.

 

My poor Evan who was shipped EMS on April 10th has now fallen out of USPS's system - Instead of the date it was accepted it now just says the label was created, not yet in system. Japan Post's website remains unchanged, still only the initial collection scan. Remember three weeks ago when someone got a package from the 4th and I had hope he might move soon? Yeah. T_T

It'll be two months in a couple of days. I'm starting to think I'll never see him.

 

I'm finding that the stuff I've ordered recently is coming in fine now, but the stuff I ordered before is still not moving. Guess they're still in holding while new mail is getting through.

My AC order from before doesn't show any updates since the last time I posted about it.

I have 4 packages stuck in Russia (EMS). Sellers wrote complains, I also wrote to Russian post representative with complaints, but there is nothing. They said that complaints review within 3-6 months, they have nothing to help in this case, only make you wait.
I got all packages from Latvia, China, US, Germany etc. with some delays, but tracked at least, but Russian customs in Sharapovo and Khimki are still a black hole and I already lost my hope to get something from there. Russian post is quite unreliable.

 

My Yahoo Auction win has been sat at Tokyo “arrival at inward office of exchange” since the 5th June.

Every other parcel I’ve had from Japan during this time hasn’t been too bad, but this is the only one that’s come through Tokyo so far.

I take it I should strap in for a long wait. XD

 

The one that's been motionless outbound since April 10th is going out from Tokyo, so probably. :< Hopefully your doll moves soon!

Oh wow. Tiny movement on my wig from Japan today. From Tokyo to Tokyo but since I haven't gotten updates since 4/13, I'm doing the happy dance it's not lost!

 

My boy finally updated to arrival and departure from outward office of exchange which should mean he's now sitting in customs. At least I finally know he's not lost and there's hope he might leave Japan sometime in the next month.

 

I sent Jason’s head to make up artist 17 of April. And only now it’s start tracking.
Almost 2 months it was held by local post office without any move.
Strange that I’ve been in this post office and they said that they don’t have it in warehouse.

I hope it will back home safely. I already lost my hope to see him again >.<

 

I shipped a parcel out from the US to China at the start of the month (Priority Mail International - insured, too!). It got stuck for a few days on the US side of things a while back, but was otherwise fairly fast, and it went though part of China pretty fast too. But since June 3, the tracking has read that it is being held for inspection (in Xiamen City, which is pretty close to the destination, if I understand correctly).

Does anyone have any insight on how long parcels typically take to be inspected by Chinese customs these days?

 

Not sure on the entering China, though one package I had that had appeared to bounce (couldn't tell if it ever left China or not) didn't take more than a day or two to go through entry customs. That might have been due to the original origin being China.

I now have my wig from MSire last week, they reshipped pretty fast but hadn't sent me the tracking. By the time they did it was to me three days later, despite taking some 15-20 days of travel.
My one EMS package from Withdoll (Korea to US) took about a week and a half to reach me, which isn't bad at all.
Leaves me with the one media mail from Japan which is now listed as being in Chicago's customs but hasn't moved since last week.

 

I also have a Japanese shipment that finally arrived in the US....in Chicago. I live in Massachusetts. Maybe New York is so backed up that US orders are entering other airports?

My EMS from South Korea is about the same, surprisingly fast. But EMS from China may be a different matter.

 

Still no movement on my boy stuck in “arrival at outward office of exchange”. Most of my EMS packages from Japan got through fine but this is the only Tokyo one so far.

Hoping I might see him before my birthday. With any luck.

finally my kakeru has moved! he left the exchange office in tokyo almost two hours ago.

 

He got stuck again after 'Dispatch from outward office of exchange' but yeah actual movement after over two months was encouraging. XD

They're probably both stuck in customs which probably has a huge backlog even if they aren't opening things. XD;

Here's hoping we both get our dolls soon! And definitely before birthdays. XD
