Shipping Delayed Shipments from China?

Still no updates on my tracking. *sigh*

I'm starting to wonder if my package got blackholed.

 

I waited 43 days before I got an update on my EMS parcel that my doll was in customs. coming from Spain and shipped Mid Dec. only showing up Feb 5th at having reached customs here in US no updates prior to that then it left country of origin in Dec. I think you will find that things are just starting to move so your parcel should be with you soon.

And a heads up tonite a DOA member had her doll show up with the mailman after waiting 8 weeks with no updates not even when he was out with mailman..go figure.

 

I opened a paypal dispute with my seller just to play it safe. I told them I just wondered if they had any more information. They told me that EMS in China is still closed and will re-open on the 18th. I told them I was more than happy to wait until then.

I hope everything comes before the 28th. I really don't want to have to file a claim. Especially when they've been so nice.

 

My parcel arrived right after the lunar new year on a Saturday in Feb (and it was shipped early Dec -.-). My friend also received his soon after. My guess is that parcels stuck in China will be arriving these few weeks. Hope you all will get yours soon~

 

Agreed everything is safe , and just now starting to make its way to buyers..I truly beleive everyone's packages will arrived. just with delays.. and remember those states hit with snow storms on top of everything else with customs etc will cause extra delays.. as packages pile up sometimes not being able to get out.. all it takes is one good snowstorm to screw up an already late parcel.

 

I've been waiting for about two weeks now for my package.
The last update I got on USPS for my doll's body is:
Origin Post is Preparing Shipment
Foreign International Dispatch, February 10, 2011, 2:15 pm, HONG KONG AIR MAIL CENTRE, HONG KONG

But it's weird, on the Hong Kong Post website, it says:
The item (RA109293998HK) left Hong Kong for its destination on 11-Feb-2011.

I hope it arrives soon, I seem to get more and more excited by the day for my new body to arrive. xD

 

Foreign international dispatch just means it left the post office on that date. it probably then made the plane the following day

I checked the other tracking number. It arrived in MN on the 12th.

I do believe the point my seller made about the blizzard. Nothing could get through that mess.

My package is still listed in china. I'm pretty confident now I should receive it in time. I feel bad for any seller who loses repeat customers because of this. Even if I file (for my protection, my seller has been lovely), at this point, I would probably be happy to reorder when the post isn't so crazy.

 

I saw the FedEx truck earlier this morning. I got all excited, thinking it was my body. But then he drove past quickly and then I remembered that the body is coming through USPS.

For the last two days, I've been feeling good that my body will arrive soon. I hope it does. I want to be able to take my doll out for a photoshoot before I go back to school on march 1st.

 

I checked USPS today thinking that it was going to be a waste since they were closed for the day -- but then I saw this when I checked:

Your item was processed through and left our BETHPAGE, NY 11714 facility on February 21, 2011 at 3:21 pm. The item is currently in transit to the destination. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later.

So, I'm hoping it'll get here soon since it's almost been 12 business days since it was sent off.

 

Still nothing on mine. It's been 1 month, 11 days since it shipped and exactly 2 months since I ordered. Another package from my seller made it through last week to it's owner and it was sent the same day as mine. I wonder how they got so far separated?

I have to escalate paypal before the 28th. Please, oh please let it come before then.

 

I got my tracking number from China on the 3rd of march.

they enter customs in china, then leave the same day.

March 5th it leaves the customs office. then, nothing.

It has been a few days, and Im concerned, because i hear people getting EMS orders within days.

 

Does anyone know what PORTEE is??
