Hey Dearmine Lovers!
So I'm trying to order a Saera on layaway,
I read it in the FAQ section to "Leave secret writing on the board with the name of product and term of layaway."
which I assume is to leave a locked message in the Q&A section, so I did that.
I left my message about a week ago, and checked the board frequently to see if they responded,
and I saw that there were other messages after me as well.
But today I checked again and saw that they read my message but didn't respond
However they did respond to the person after me!
So I was wondering if I'm doing it incorrectly?

 

I've never done layaway with them, but their English support is slow. They typically only respond Monday and Tuesday. It's common for some messages to be answered Monday and others on Tuesday. I believe the person who knows English can answer some questions directly but for others needs to consult with other employees (or the owner). Most likely they will respond to you later today (Korea time).

 

It's been a long while since I did a layaway with Dearmine, but they did get around to my board message a few days after. This was a few years ago though, so things may have changed. If you've not recieved a message by the end of the week I'd say message them again.

Once the dolls are "sold out" do they ever return? I'd like Priscilla Provence and Vivien Young Lady, but I've never seen them available. Even the plain girl cat body shows as sold out.

 

If they’re limited, they don’t return once they sell out. If memory serves correct both of those releases were limited. They might release the sculpt again later, though.

 

Thank you. I'll keep hoping to find another girl cat sculpt I like. They're so pretty.

 

They pop up on the second hand market often so keep an eye out there too.

 

@Riene the bodies at Dearmine are only available when they release an update. They give a chance for people with older dolls to upgrade to the new body.

Priscilla herself is a basic at Dearmine though. Provence was probably a special edition with a particular makeup and outfit but the doll is always available blank or with a selection of a few different makeup options. (The make up options are in their own category.)

Also Angela is a basic cat girl sculpt again always available with a few makeup options.

I've looked at the makeup options, but am not crazy about them. I liked the Provence one because it was more brown than pink. I'll keep an eye out, though, for new releases! I need a cat girl and the littles in the collection.

 

@Riene - They'll often re-release sculpts and resin colours as they cycle through their seasonal releases, so there's a good chance they'll be released again, just with different blushing and clothes. In the "basic" sections of their size categories you'll find dolls that are available year-round. If you're keen on a sculpt, but not the face up, you can always get them blank and then have a face up artist paint them for you.

 

I didn't know there was a thread specifically for Dearmine DL discussion (YAY!).
I ordered Saera near the end of Dec 2018, still waiting for her to come home to me
Its actually my first time ordering from Dearmine, and I always loved the idea of anthro dolls!

Can anyone tell me how well the DL new body poses(maybe a comparison between the old body and the new?) I saw that they renewed it a while back, and I am in no luck of finding reviews about the body. I also would love to know how well their heel leg stand with heel shoes. Thank you

 

I got an email from Dearmine letting me know my Vivien L. would ship next month. I ordered her late December. I’m kinda bummed.

 

@SHINn - Ooh congratulations! I hope she comes home to you soon! Anthro dolls are quite a bit of fun, though it does mean sometimes they can be slightly tricky to dress.
I've not got a DearMine lady, my boy is one of the older ones from 2014, so I wouldn't be able to tell you a thing about the new bodies unfortunately.

@Dakashy - Well that is a bummer. But do take heart, they told you they're running late and it's only a month.

@Riene - The sculpt is exactly the same as far as I'm aware, it's only the face up that's different. Unless otherwise advertised by DearMine (eg. I think they changed some aspect of Nocturne's sculpt between the first release and the most recent).

@SHINn - Congratulations! She's very cute!

 

@Quiet and Insane -- thank you --that's what I'd hoped, it's hard sometimes to get a good look at the sculpt.

@SHINn -- Saera looks like a 1950s model. She's so classy!

 

She's so cute! I really like the blushing on her ears.
I was excited to see Saera Cool version rereleased but I didn't order her since I want all my anthros to be in fantasy colours, so white resin is no for me even how much I love Saera. I can always hope some day she will be released in mint or pink skin...

@Riene Thank you! I'm so glad you pointed that out Honestly, for the past couple of months I fell in love with classic looks! Especially the style of 1920s and up.

@suruni Thank you for your compliment Your doll collection theme sounds so interesting! Mint or pink skin sounds pretty too.
For me, I hope they release Koon in Ash skin.. Maybe in cool ver. again XD

I just put out a WTB for Vivien. She's the first MSD-sized girl I've ever really wanted but I put off buying her because I didn't have an income at the time and we were travelling over Christmas. I regret acting like a responsible adult now, though! Fingers crossed we'll find her or like the next version they release!

For some days I order a second hand Heather, Million Rose from Dollyteria ^.^ Cant wait until she arrived. Shes is my first BJD.
Heather is my absolutely favorite from all the Girls.

Someone has a Heather, we've seen her in here before. I have the male version of her sculpt so I know you've got a gorgeous doll on the way to you. Heather and Oskar are pretty amazing! Congrats on the purchase!

I missed that they were doing the cool version of Koon. The regular version the eyes always just seemed too big. Hopefully I can resist though as I've already got him in white and ash.

 

Ohhhh he's so handsome! I can't wait to see more photos.

 

Some time after I emailed Dearmine asking about availability, they got in touch and said they had a Vivien L. available and asking if I wanted to buy her! She arrived a couple of days ago and she's gorgeous.

Sadly the fullset wig and another dress I ordered weren't in the box with her, but I've sent Dearmine a message so hopefully they get back to me soon!

Also, I've already chipped the tip of her ear because her head popped off when I was adjusting the angle and put too much pressure on the back Anyone else had that happen?

She's just beautiful, even with a chipped ear tip. Maybe a little chalk to match would make it look intentional? Vivian is so delicate and sweet.

 

She's so pretty @Statuess! Bummer about the ear, but it was very likely to happen at some point. Both of Tsukito's ears have chips in the tips after he nose-dived off a bench while I was taking photos and his ears went flying onto the concrete.

 

@sistercuervo I covered the chip with a bit of watercolour pencil so it blends in pretty well, though it would probably look best if I sanded it a little to round it out!

@Quiet and Insane Glad to hear it's not just me! Damage tends to happen when a doll has just arrived and I'm still getting to know them

 

I'm actually super safe from this release of Koon because I didn't want to the cool version How lucky! He's so pretty though, that cocoa skin really works nicely on him and with those clothes!

 

My doll budget for the year has been well and truly blown thanks to all the DZ/DC discontinuations, so despite the fact Koon is gorgeous, I'll have to pass up on this one. I adore the cocoa resin colour.

 

He is gorgeous. I hope someone is lucky enough to get him.
Has Dearmine's website been acting up for anyone else lately or just me? I keep looking for a shipping notice, and got locked out for a couple of days. Just being anxious over delivery of my tiny Companion.

 

I was on the Dearmine site today and it was fine! Maybe try again?

Also, I ordered the new Koon and an Evans that suddenly because in stock. I think my new doll funds have been depleted for this year lol....there's always buying new clothes though!

 

A Cozy Morning Tea

In light of his, shall we say... wilder cousin arriving in homes around the world my rarely photographed white Koon decided he would like to show that Koons can have a calmer side as well. After all haven't we all been reminded of the value of a cozy sweater of late?

 

I fully agree with him @scripple! I'm currently curled up in a blanket with a cup of tea as well! (Though it is supposed to be summer down here and somehow it snowed in the hills today??)

Well we just moved house, so I'd say Tsukito is settling in pretty well now that he gets to hang out and play video games all day. Phone's not synching photos properly so I can't share photos at the moment.

I somewhat recently added the OG Dear Mine Nocturne to my flock of sheep.

 

Wow! He’s absolutely magnificient! What a fabulous acquisition.

 

@scripple - He's so cute! I sometimes wish I hadn't sold mine, but his character needs to be in SD for me to be happy with him (and his girlfriend, who has also been sold for re-shelling).
