Hello. I have tried the past few days to find the measurment for the msd sized girls from dearmine and come back empty handed. So I wonder if somebody can tell me? I have fallen in love with the outfits and want to know the size.

I tend to over-do the Box Openings... Just hope people have fast enough connections to deal with all the photos...!

But yeah... it's great to see Nocturns. For a while it seemed as if there weren't going to be that many of them ordered, but having owner-photos posted, it seems as if there are enough around! --Although it will be fun to see him given different looks. I'm not sure I'll be changing mine around much, since I don't have a lot of mini-sized outfits and wigs, but eventually I might get around to playing around with his look...!

 

I really adore Nocturne's default look, but I do plan on making him a field kit and getting him some more geology-appropriate clothing.

 

I caved and ended up buying a Nocturne, I've seen some really beautiful owner pics and decided that I really do want one. I'm happy that they're still available. Such a beautiful doll.

Lavender Priscilla is just gorgeous. I wanted to know the difference between DearMine white resin and normal white??

 

Uh...I think they're the same thing. Hmm. Perhaps normal white is a little more creamy? I'm not sure, someone else will have to take over.

They have both the new white normal and the old white normal compared to white and normal.

Oh, wow! I often forget that Dearmine made (still makes?) human sculpts - Irene is lovely!



I took Florence out to the woods recently in a new outfit. I just realized when organizing my doll stuff that she has waaaaay more clothing than any of my others. >_>;;;

 

I may have missed it somewhere in this thread or the other one, but could someone point me to or help me get the measurements for the Dear Lover Female Cat body? The one that Angela comes on? I've checked everywhere I can think of but cannot for the life of me find her measurements! The only thing the company lists is the head/eye/and height but I need more specific ones than that...

I haven't been around here lately (nursing school and vinyl doll interests), but just wanted to pop in to say I managed to snag the limited Dune. I'm a little in shock, since I was almost certain I wouldn't win him (my luck is awful and I never win anything), and it hasn't quite sunk in yet. @__@

My Nocturne came in and he's beautiful, but for some reason, he wasn't sent with eyes even though eyes are supposed to be included. What I thought were the eyes was his tail, and I don't know what I should do about that. Should I contact Dearmine? Has anything like this happened to others, and what have you done about it?

Also, I was thinking of getting extra magnets in order to keep the ears and tail on without a problem, like I did with my Zuzu. I was thinking of ordering magnets from Luts, but since its a bigger doll, does anyone know what size magnets I should get?

 

I'd contact Dear Mine. The owner/sculptor is a lovely lady (I met her at Dollism Buffalo last year) and it may have been just an oversight.

 

Geekachu - Oh congratulations on getting him home! I'd do as Iron_Dog suggested and contact Dear Mine. They're so lovely to deal with, I'm sure you'd get everything sorted in no time.

 

There was an event where they were supposed to send a bonus pair of eyes with an order, but when my order arrived there was no bonus pair. I immediately contacted DearMine and they gave me credit equaling the amount of a pair of eyes

 

I did contact them, and they were nice about it. They said they're sending the eyes now, horray!

I'm surprised at how large his hooves are, I guess I'll have to learn how to remove them if I want him to wear other pants, but I do like the ones his set comes with, very fluffy. Maybe I'll take a picture once the eyes come in

 

I just got my Nocturne today! I'm not using his eyes at all since I strongly prefer urethanes. Would you like mine?

He's wearing an Minifee sized top from Dorset Clothing (on Etsy). Mon is a locl and she's lovely to deal with, plus her clothes are really lovely quality.

 

Love the fluffy pants. He's gorgeous. I like Dearmine's big feet and hands on the boys, don't you? I thought about getting the smaller human feet for my Dune, but decided I prefer him as he is (even though I have to use changing balls to get him into tight pants.)

 

I love them too! Sure it makes getting them clothed a little trickier, but they're just too cool.

Well, I paid Dune off! His name is Sateriajisu, or Sati for short. (Thanks to Jen Kat for the awesome name recommendation; he seems like the Duke to me!)

He got his eyes in! They were super nice about it and I got them fast. He's so beautiful! I haven't taken many pictures yet, but I took this one of him with my first doll Jeff (a Zuzu, he's wearing dearmine clothes). I decided to name my nocturne Vlad, kinda funny since it's not one of the names I originally thought of for him.

 

He's gorgeous! I love the black wig too, it looks really soft. Jeff is pretty cute too.

I ended up changing Vlad's name to Soren - my original idea for his name, lol. He felt more like a Soren and less of a Vlad once I got new clothes for him.

Hello there, sorry for intruding! Newbie popping up in here but my interest in BJDs flared up again recently after I discovered and completely fell for the Creature Claw Oskar and thought it'd be impossible to get one..
Then, my friend told me there was one up for sale in the Marketplace, but as I thought hard on it and looked around a bit more as I was on the fence with Oskar's face, I fell super in love with Nocturn's! While I do adore the rest of the set, it's definitely not like how I was completely grabbed by every aspect of Oskar, though, so I don't know whether I might as well nab one from dolkus where it's still available, or to wait for the next Nocturn edition... does anyone have a rough idea of when that may be @__@?

(Honestly the ideal would be Nocturn's head on Oskar' body for me, but sadly I don't think I have the money to manage that :'3...)

 

Hello @jaywalk! I've got both a Nocturn and an Oskar (Mistral, not Creature Claw though), I'd be happy to do a head swap if you'd like to see what they'd look like on opposite bodies. As for knowing when they'll release Nocturn again, I'm not sure. I don't really think there's a set pattern to who they release and when.

I'm not sure if this has been discussed much before (the new search function on DoA manages to make search results more confusing for me on mobile), but what luck have you guys found with shoes fitting the high heeled feet on your girls?

I have some Dale Rae shoes, but Dale Rae no longer makes footwear. I've tried some minifee flats from an Etsy shop, but they were just a little too small. Any other suggestions?
