Waaaauh.... Dolk messed up my order and forgot to order my Lupy and they sold out ;~; I hope whoever got her instead has a great time....
They said I can substitute for another bean, even from DolkJP's stock... I'll see about the picasso cocoa skin instead hmm...

Has this ever happened to anyone before? I've only ordered one doll from Dolk prior and it was fine...

 

Dear Beans usually come with a carrying pouch -- there are a few different styles with various fabric prints. I've never received a Dear Classic with one, though I thought at one time they were going to start offering them.

 

@AutumnWyvern I'm really sorry to hear that Autumn, that's awful! I order from Dolk fairly regularly (two of my own Beans came from them), and have only had them mess up once when they forgot to combine part of my order into one shipment. I really appreciate that they take full responsibility when they do mess up though. I had Dearmine themselves mess up one of my orders before too. u_u

If you don't want cocoa skin or are hesitant about it you could see if they'll let you keep the offer as store points? That way when a Bean does come along you're 100% on you could get that one instead.

 

@revien Well I have to admit I do really like the cocoa skin bean (its a fullset too, with the punk make-up and the overalls) so I certainly wouldn't mind that as a substitute. Last e-mail I got they are just double checking with DolkJP if that would be okay on their end. But yeah if that doesn't work out I can just ask for store points. There surely will be more lupy in the future. Maybe this is a sign telling me to wait and see if they do a grey skin lupy (I used to have an axolotl in middle school who was a dark blueish grey)

I would wait, if I were you. Dearmine does the same sculpts over in different colors pretty frequently, doesn't it? Maybe they'll do one you like better in the future, or do an encore make of that one (like they did with some of the special Picassos.)

So it looks like they do plan to rerelease her, but it may be a while still. (New sculpts? Nero Classic please )

 

HEY guys! I'm new to Dearmine and I was wondering if anyone knew if their new sculpt Agrippa is on-topic to DOA or not? I adore them and plan on ordering one but I haven't seen them mentioned anywhere on DOA!

 

Given that the beans cost only about a paycheck for me and the fact that I was offered the cocoa Picasso fullset which has been out of stock for a while I ended up getting the little Picasso! I just got an e-mail confirming that DOLKjp would be able to send over the bean.... Now all I have to do is hope they use the right address and we are good. Boy this has been one roller-coaster of an order.

(also I have no idea about Agrippa but I'd assume they are fine? as far as I'm aware all the dear classic dolls are okie dokie)

 

Oh yay! and possibly in new skin colours, this makes my little axolotl crew happy *crosses finger for a dark purple or blue*

Hi everyone! I just recently started looking at Dear Mine dolls and fell in love! I'm waiting on the Dear Pet Belle ~Macaron~ set right now!

Unrelated to that, I was wondering if all the Dear Classic doll ears are attached with magnets? It looks like some of the full sets have hats without holes cut. If so, has anyone tried a wig on their Classic doll? I don't think I've seen a picture of one of the Classic size dolls wearing a wig. Thanks!

 

I have a Dear Classic Picasso and her ears are magnetized. In fact, I think that all of my Dearmine dolls are.

Ahh wow @AutumnWyvern Congradulations they look great! Picasso looks so dainty, and your air is lovely, look at the neck scarf, I'm sad i didn't see the two deer (Air and Belle) sooner, I'm on a deer doll kick but they all seem to be sold out. I hope you enjoy your new lovelies!

 

Tonantzin ordered the karaginu that Nero wears in the sales photos. She LOooooves it.

 

That is adorable on Tonatzin! I've been wanting one for my kitten.

 

She's been twirling around giggling about how fabulous she looks.

 

So she should! It fits her too a T, and totally goes with her colouring. I love her eyes!

Her eyes are from Ersa Flora and are the glow in the dark aqua.

 

My Festival Oz came this morning--perfect in every way. A real surprise, as I've been scouring the DM site for update on shipping for weeks! He just popped up, clever little fox. Lots of goodies in the box, including a gorgeous calendar, Picasso practise face and extra stringing cord & eye goop. I did order the claw hands & hand-parts, too.

 

Aw nice @sistercuervo you should share any pics you take, I bet he was worth the wait.

Adorable pictures as usual in this thread! Have you guys seen the newest Classic Agrippa?!? She is the cutest little thing I've seen in a while! The realisation of a giraffe in doll form is absolutely genius. On her page it says sold from 03.23. to 05.11. but she is still available. Oh the want on this one......

 

Yeah I often wonder why some dolls are still available for order after the order period? Is that they didn't get enough orders in of the sculpt or they can just make more? Agrippa is pretty cute, I was thinking about getting it but I'm not sure.

The Agrippa they have released had its order period extended until May 23rd.

Dear Mine posted some pictures on their Facebook page of a new limited Agrippa which will be released on May 21st, limited to 5 dolls! It's very cute, but I'm kind of glad I'm not that into the giraffe sculpt. Trying to get one of the 5 will probably be a pain.

 

Thank you for the info, chobits0821! Omg that pink Agrippa is just too cute. I can't stop looking at her pictures though I kinda wish they released her in the Canaria skin, because, you know, a giraffe is kind of yellow. I'm still on the fence on getting the white Agrippa, maybe I'll wait for another release, hopefully in another colour.
I haven't been on DoA in quite some time (ahem, months), the last time was last year when I totally fell in love with anthro dolls. Now I have aquired four anthros in the meantime including a cute little Picasso Bean! He is still blank unfortunately but hopefully I will finally get the drive to give him a faceup this weekend.

 

Dolk is releasing a Bean version of my Picasso grail doll..! I hope I can get one this time around. ^^;

 

Oh my gosh it is so cute! No wonder its a grail of yours, Sprinkles.

I finally got my Debon a wig and an outfit. Gee, I should take pictures...

 

Hey, hey. My boys need a bit of restringing after a couple plane rides and some convention-going, but the restringing guide on dearmine's website keeps getting cut off on my computer. Does anyone happen to have a mirror of it? (Also I think both of them ended up with shallow scratches along the seams on their legs, you can't see them from the front but I'm wondering if I should try sanding them down?)

Anyway we ate a lot of food and Basil got a new wig! It makes him look very effeminate though >w> anyway parfait time!
