Oh my! We get a new thread?! Awesome! Well, since we have a new thread, anyone mind me kicking it off with some kinda old pictures? Jin hasn't had anything new since I, uhh, kinda nicked his nose.

As for the new cuties over at Dearmine (much more on topic yes?) wow did Dorothy come off as a devilish sweetie! She's definitely the my favorite of the two (though my favorite of this release in general isn't on topic here )

 

They're all terribly cute! I don't own an anthro but I think it'd be fun. My big boys might object thoough as neither is properly done .

yay I dodged a bullet with the DearPets this time Dorothy was just too pink for what I was hoping. And Debon I love the black, but that pink around it is just too strong it doesn't look very good in my opinion I live to buy another day

 

He took a header into my desk at school and it was finally the one that did something. Its small, and I've grown used to it, but I have plans to fix it this summer, when the weather cooperates and I have the supplies.

If you don't focus on it, it just kind of makes his nose look a bit more shiny I think it looks pretty cool for being a chip. At least it's not horribly unsightly and at least it was the paint and not the resin Are you going to give him a whole new face-up or just touch up the nose?

 

That's what I thought too, its not too bad, and its not totally noticeable depending on what you're doing and focusing on. I'm thinking about just touching up the nose, because I'd rather try that first than worry about getting a whole other face up done. Its either money I'm not sure I have or subjecting him to untried faceup skills XD

 

Oh ok. I figured you'd probably want to just keep the DearMine face-up since it is quite gorgeous, but I was excited to see an individual one I have not seen too many people get custom face-ups or do their own on DearMine dolls so I really like to see them

 

Haha, I wouldn't mind a custom faceup on Jin I just don't have a clue what it would be yet XD Sadly the only thing I've thought of would mean it would be fairly similar to what he already has, so nothing all that interesting~

Thanks They had Storm out again back at Christmas, so I bet Oz will make his comeback soon enough. Of course, even better will be seeing if the two get basic options ;P

In other "news": I made Jin a shirt today! Unfortunately its been raining off and on all day so getting a good picture would be difficult for the moment. I hope to tomorrow though! My base pattern was almost too small so its a little ill fitting, especially in back, but I'll just go with it being 'room for his wings' and re-make it at a later date Gotta learn from you mistakes!

After months of saving, I finally ordered my Blossom Korat!!! I also ordered him a Classic Sailor outfit and a WH-05 Black wig I couldn't be happier!

Okay, so my Walmart has One Direction dolls on clearance for two dollars, so I snagged one to steal its clothes.

It's obviously very baggy, but some people dig that style. Oh, and the shorts were pants that I cut down.

 

Razzy your dolls are so cute. And it doesn't look too baggy, I think it looks good!

That's adorable on him, Razzy. Any trouble getting it over his head, etc. Looks like an excellent fit.

 

No trouble putting it on. The shorts are way huge, so they sit high up on his chest, but that's an easy alteration. Also the sleeves on the hoodie are too long, but his paws stop them from going anywhere.

eta: I did take off his head to put on the hoodie, as there isn't any Velcro or snap closure.

 

That's not half bad really. I've had Jin in some Ken clothes (due to pushing from my mom, but hey, lovely proof my dolls don't freak her out) and I would say that almost looks better and the lack of velcro and snap would be something I'd at least enjoy!

 

Elliot is my androgynous cutie, though male biologically. He does like to wear girly clothes sometimes, too!

This was a set from Liv and everything except the wig came with it! Only seven dollars, and it's almost a perfect fit.

I fixed his nose and there's his new shirt on him!

 

So, the magnet in one of Elliot's wrist fell out, and I glued it in backwards. Now it's stuck for good. I've tried freezing, hot water, and acetone. Nothing. Ugh.

 

You know, I've had so many of Jin's magnets come out I'm surprised I haven't done this yet! Nothing has worked? That's really too bad!

 

The clothes look great! I better get down to Walmart.

 

In the complete mood to share since my new guys showed up - this chair almost didn't work but lucky me Jin wouldn't sit in it normally anyways!

Hi everyone! Complete newbie here. I've been going through the old thread and Dearpets are awesome . Really love their make-up, size, and aesthetic. Really looking forward to getting one of my own - I've already ordered an outfit, wig, and eyes!

Still deciding if I should go for basic Dorothy...she's definitely my favourite of the basic bunch but I'm also thinking of waiting until they announce the Winter limited pets to see if there are any limiteds I would like. They do have Winter events right? xD. Complete newbie haha.

My unicorn is Dearpet Carnival Storm though . Foxes are my favourite animals and the make-up for Carnival Storm is so beautiful. Anyone that has her wants to spam some pics? haha.

Hi, Nkei! Welcome. These guys are so addictive; prepare yourself! You can't have just one.

Dorothy is a great choice! I have a Korat, which is the male version of her. Same sculpt though. Like Anna said, they usually do have winter events! Last winter they released a limited cocoa skin that I unfortunately missed out on. Better luck this year, ahaha.

 

Awww thank you Anna and Razzy for the warm welcome . I expect to stick around as I've been stalking these threads for a while. Glad to know that they have winter events! I guess I will just twiddle my thumbs and wait impatiently haha.

Anna your Carnival Storm is beautiful!! Love her soft look and her frilly dress is so cute and fits her so well . Haha I'm so jelly .

And Razzy I've seen pics of your Korat and he's so cute!! And agreed on the one isn't enough . Looking at pics again, I think I'm definitely getting a Dorothy but I'll also get a Storm if they come out with one in any of the future events . And yes hopefully they'll release pets that everyone likes and we'll all be able to get one we want haha

 

You'll wait even more impatiently if you've followed anything from their facebook XD Its not up in their blog yet but they've been showing things off~ fur for wigs and a half done new sculpt if I understood them right!

 

Waaaaaah, is that a lion they're sculpting?? It has a pronounced muzzle and those ears don't really look canine...

Hi everyone!! just brought home my first Dearmine doll (I got a debon) thursday!!! His name is Chronos, and hes a Time Flyer (like a time traveler) I just spent the last 6 hours making his "goggles" for when he is TimeFlying.. and I really cant wait to start writing his story!! im so glad theres a group of us Dearmine owners here! were both excited to be a part of your group!!

I imagine the magnet in his hand isn't budging either huh. I've had several of Jin's magnets come out, at least one of them twice, you must be using some really good glue...not that its so great now...I wish I had a suggestion for you!

 

Me too! All I can hope is that either the magnet in his hand comes out, or the one in his other wrist comes out so I can glue that one in backwards too!

Ooh notice for Autumn items have been updated! 2 new heads for the DearPet line! No pics yet though >.<. Can't wait, so exciting!

 

Yea, its either two new heads or their usual boy/girl thing with one XD But I suppose if they could do three new heads in total anyways (if you count the dearlover ones they announced too) we could aways hope for four still, with a name like 'King' for one, I think Razzy's guess of a lion is way too spot on now XD

 

Yeah, and they're called manticores, which I believe have lion heads.

 

Double post, but I gotta spam a pic of Kharjo's new eyes! I snatched them out of my Fairyland Celine (they were way too big for her), and they suit him nicely.
