Okay, I know I'm already going to layaway Storm, but the cool Picasso! I might need her, too if I can afford!

 

My kittens are getting dressed for the winter holidays. Here's my Storm with a little friend all ready for winter in her Spampywear

Thanks! Now a quick question for those of you all with the new bodies for DPets: Are the hands magnetic like before or are they strung? I'm getting ready to order Oz and wanted to know whether I need to order the magnetic hands option. I would also like to have the glove hands for him, too. Thanks in advance!

 

The hands are strung! Congrats on your Oz. I was tempted, but Storm was my priority and I managed to get her. I've wanted Storm for so long.

I also snagged the red outfit with the hat and apron since sometimes the outfits tend to sell out. I definitely need the cool picassos, augh. I wish you could just buy the heads separately though.

I'm hoping we'll also see a Nabi re-release at some point, too.

Oh wow, its good to know that the new DP body has strung hands, I hadn't realized that! Not that I'm actually looking to participate in this newest event (not that that Storm isn't super tempting!! Oh my, the temptation really), but future reference is always nice!

i know, i just didn't think he'd sell out in literally a day omg.... i've never seen that happen with... any doll before actually??! i thought it might've been an error, actually, that's why i ended up checking here lol
i noticed angela was gone already too though, that seems... so odd to me??! they go so fast orz

Tonantzin had a great time at the New Year's Eve party. The big can O' Doom was a gift from one friend to another friend and produced many giggles.

Also this photo shows a bit of how her eyes glow in the dark. She had a teeny tiny bit of champagne at midnight and we got home around 2.

 

So cute!!! Love that frilly dress on her!

 

It's one of her favorites, it's the full set dress, and the bonnet from another dress. I think the bonnet is one of her very favorite things.

 

wow you are so lucky to get a bean outfit. whenever i try to order they always seem to be sold out lol. she does look lovely in her dress

 

I KNOW... the outfits go really fast! I was going to order some with my cocoa bean, but the one I wanted was gone. So I just ordered my bean from DDE instead of DM to save a little on shipping...

 

I should maybe try oder when there is no event on but shipping is so expensive I really try to order as much together as I can lol was trying to calculate out how many more dearpets i would need to buy to potentially get a "free one" lol. my boyfriends answer was "too many" lol of course that is impossible as they are just so addictive especially if you think how cute the bean size is lol.

Also my dresses for my dolls have arrived and I will post more photos I had a proper photo shoot opportunity. They are made by the lovely pepperonipizza and I can't recommend her highly enough. I am still in awe how wonderful her work turned out to be. Right now though me and my anthro princesses are just having a duvet movie day. (if the picture does not show up I applogise. I have no clue how to load up the pictures any more since the changes to the website ... tried to edit 5 times trying to get them up and give up.....)

 

pepperonipizza does great work--more importantly, she's one of the few who makes clothes for short-limbed anthro bodies!

They all look fantastic!!! Love seeing the medieval styles.

Took me ages to get them dressed so can't believe I am undressing them again tomorrow into different outfits but I know I have to do it before I get too lazy to do it lol. the pink dress took me ages to lace up lol worth it though

Thank you . I know I was so lucky to get 2 of him. Kept on reloading the site the minute it opened lol. They are bothers so it made sense that they would be the same sculpt. Was really tempted by sweet Lily as well. Did anyone on here get her? LoL just realised you meant the little lap cat. Yes she is adorable and I was so happy I could get her.

Took a little picture of Princess Annemarie Antoinette together with Prince Anatole finally able to share their first dance thanks to her new body that is finally posable and able to stand. Even on carpet!!!!! This new body they have is a dream come true

Hi! I have posted this question in the reference sub-forum but I figured it would be quicker to get a response in this thread.
For some time now I have been fantasizing about a character and the way I would customize my own Dear Classic Picasso.
My main idea involves a white fur/mohair wig but I have never seen a Dear Classic wearing a wig. I understand the ears are detachable and their head's circumference is 9 inch so it could be theoretically possible?

 

Hi @Yami_Hanako Yes, Dearmine Dear Classic dolls can wear wigs, an 8-9" wig fits but they do have funny shaped heads which make a lot of wigs look a little odd. I have a couple of wigs I took of my Rose Piccaso wearing a rose pink Kikipop wig for fun at one point, I'll see if I can find them when I get home to give you an idea of what I mean.

 

I've tried putting wigs on mine, too (Dal/Pullip wigs will fit.) It's kind of like placing a wig on a small Irish potato with the long side horizontal.

 

Lol @sprinkles now I'm going to keep thinking of KittyBuu as potato head kitty ^^ Agreed, it is like trying to stretch a wig across a large washed potato

@Yami_Hanako sorry I didn't post this up earlier (I was exhausted when I got home yesterday & completely forgot, my apologies) but here's KittyBuu showing what he looks like in an Azone Kinokojuice Kikipop wig. Kiki's are OT here as they are ABS plastic fashion dolls so I won't post pictures but they actually take pretty much and exactly 8" wig so can fit either a larger 7-8" or smaller 8-9" wig and that is pretty much the same for the Dear Classic dolls as KittyBuu can fit all the same wigs as my Kikipop can.

 

Thank you so much for the pic, it is very illustrative. If I can't find a wig that fits in a way I like, having one custom-made could be an option too.

 

My Dearmine Nero Moon Cat just came, and he's like HALF the size of my Picasso. Is that normal?

 

Nero Mooncat is a Bean, so yes, that is the correct size. Sorry to hear you were expecting the Classic size, but perhaps you can make it work for you.

 

I thought that my older one WAS a bean. @__@ Does this mean that she's a classic?!

 

The sculpts should all still be up on the Dearmine website, so you can check to see what categories they fall into. The beans look so much like the larger sizes, it's hard to tell which is which! But the beans are TINY-TINY-TINY! There have only been Beans since late 2014...

 

I have a quick question for you all - I know we're all celebrating the new Dearpet body (or at least some of us, its good to hear they are so nice! ) but does anyone have any advice on the old body? My boy was pretty good after I had sueded him but I think he's due for a new set of that.....just that the last time I had him a part to do that, I needed another of hands to get him the last of the way put back together! I'm not exactly sitting on a wealth of people to lend me a hand anymore, has anyone got any tricks for those little hooks in the foot plug?

 

Hello hello! I just completed my layaway on my Air and Lupy~ I ordered through dolk, and I was wondering if anyone knows if DM starts making the dolls when you place the order or if they start after you finish paying? I swear I get more and more impatient with each day aaaah ;w;

 

Such a cute cat love that sculpt so much. Really want one but waiting for my grail one to appear which it probably never will as i think it was a one off special one lol.

By the way what do you guys think of the new giraffe scuplt we are getting? Was really keeping my fingers crossed for Loc when Dearmine told me to keep an eye out for him thought he would have made a return for sure by now. Getting to a point where I will just take any Loc if he fits the character or not and then start saving up for a faceup

That would be the Dearclassic Picasso Renaissanc never going to get him I feel. Who ever has him would never sell I feel. At least there is no bean version of him because I would die not having that one lol.

 

So I just received two new Beans, Picasso rose skin and new years ver.! Wow, I was not expecting the rose skin to be as pretty as it is! I'm totally infatuated with this color now.



I'll hopefully be able to get them out and photographed sometime this month.

They're releasing three new Beans for spring, though I may try a Classic this time. I'm worried I'll like them more than the Beans and get a new obsession though.

The black resin is definitely a challenge to photograph for me.

 

Those two are gorgeous! I think you did just fine capturing Nero's wonderful resin color.
And I figure this would be the thread to ask in, but I am super tempted by either a bitter bean or a cool bitter classic, I love the classic's sassy eyes but the size on the bean is too precious and would be perfect for interacting with a doll I already own. Any thoughts on which one should go on my wishlist?

Oh man I would totally snatch one up if I didn't already have two DM dolls on the way. Dolk sent me an e-mail asking about my address (I had it changed and they just wanted to confirm if they had the right one) and they said they'd ship it soon but it's been a couple days and I haven't gotten a shipping notice yet. Uggghhh those blue Chopin beans are going to kill me! I had a classic size Chopin for awhile, but he didn't really fit in here. Something about the smaller size and that blue resin though -- I hope they are a seasonal release and not limited number.

Theyve already said in their respective pages that theyre limited. 30 for the classic and 50 for the bean, if I remember right.

I'm tempted to try for the classic. Even though the bean is cute as heck. Im still trying to find a rain coat ver Picasso too. Decisions.

Id be less heisitant if they had a better layaway system in place, but I remember how it was with Nero.

 

Chopin is cute, especially the bean! I like the blue color a lot.

Anyone else see the new Agrippa the giraffe? She is very unique and the first giraffe bjd I've ever seen. Not for me though. I'm beginning to want a Bean. Still, I think she would make a nice gazelle, even if the horns aren't right for one.

My basic Debon arrived today! He is my first Dearmine bjd. I'm so in love! I remember reading here that one won't be enough...I'm beginning to believe it! His name is Sasuke. The eyes he came with don't fit well and I've tried a pair of glass eyes. What eyes do you have in your Dear pets? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

Do full-size Dear Beans come with a storage/carrying pouch? I could have sworn that Marshmallow came with one, but I can't find it anywhere! Did I just dream it up?

sprinkles I saw some box openings and there were two different decorative bags that come with the Beans. One was just a bag, and the other looked more like a camera case in style. I could not tell which Beans came with which bag. So I'm guessing you got one too? I hate misplacing something!
