DearMine Dear Pet, Classic 20cm & Beans 12cm Anthros Discussion Part 2

I love all of the axolotls! Mine has sadly been rehomed (wish I'd gotten the white resin instead of the canaria). I'm hoping they'll release a new color I fall in love with sometime.

I got up early to snag Lincoln and a a cocoa skinned bean with the punk gear faceup. If I can afford it I hope to get one in the classic size as well. I am surprised at how quickly Nero sold out. D:

 

I have a quick question. I've been looking all over the site for information for Dearmine's layaway since I was thinking of adding a Cocoa skinned Bitter to my order but can't find anything that explains it. Could someone point me in the right direction for how to start one?

 

You need to post on the Q&A board asking for one and then they'll set it up for you.

 

I over did it today, but hopefully tomorrow I'll get some new photos.

That's not even everyone! (there are shared bodies of the Real fee and Pukifee, and I left out the Little fee, and a few other Yo, and my MSD trio and my 2 SD... I'd need a bigger counter top!)

 

It is funny how these collections just grow lol I remember getting my first bjd and swearing I only needed her and that she was going to be an only doll etc lol

I love seeing everyone's tinies, even outside of Dearmine!

My first anthro tinies started off as companions for my MSDs, but...then slowly, they took over. XD



Here are all of my Dearmine tinies, but I have quite a few more from other companies. Sorry for the bad photo - the lighting in my apartment is awful.

For those of you using pupiless eyes in your Lupy, what size are you using? I know they take 10mm, just wanted to see if that's what people have. I'm just putting a little canary girl on layaway on facebook, I'm pretty excited :3

 

I use size 10. I haven't tried any other size but I really like how well the 10 fills the space.

I think I just ordered the same size as the eyes they come with. I ordered Tonantzin's from Ersa Flora about the same time I ordered her. (Oh and they glow in the dark!)

Blu-tack... I use it for holding in eyes on nearly ALL my dolls, but I use the WHITE version. They say that the actual colored, blue version can stain some resin.

I love those pretty pupil-less eyes in Lupy. Very cute!



--I actually have some white blu-tack at the bottom of the crown on the froggy's head because the paint was scraping off the crown and marking his head! I'll have to figure out a better fix, though, since the white is visible... I'll probably put some hot-glue there instead! -- not to glue it to his head, but just lining the crown so the paint doesn't rub off!

 

April, what a lovely set of amphibians you have! They make a great set of royal, cousins? I didn't notice the white tack until i went back to look for it, but it almost looks like the fur that lines some crowns.

 

So much giggling between these two... I need to go to bed!

Congradulations so happy for you. I know it might seem hard to believe but they are even cuter in person.

 

Out of curiosity - how long have you guys typically waited for your Dearmine orders? I tend to order more than one doll at once + clothing, so I think my orders take a bit longer, but just curious.

 

So far my wait time has always been 1-2 months even when I ordered 3 (two dearpets and one bean). Not sure if a smaller order gets there sooner but this was my second order and the first one had been a special circumstance that it was a doll they had left over from a convention and was ready to ship right away lol.

 

Good to know! Whenever I use layaway of course it takes longer, but I ordered four dolls at once during the spring event event and it took ~3.5 months for my order even though I paid all at once. I don't mind waiting of course, but I do start to get antsy after 2-3 months. XD



These two came home today! The canaria resin kitties were absolutely necessary as I have an orange cat that is very dear to me.

I also have a cocoa bean and lincoln both paid off, just waiting for shipment...and a cocoa classic on layaway. *face-palm*

 

Wow 3 months is a long time lol I imagine anyone would get antsy. OMG you got Lincoln? he is the most adorable thing ever, really looking forward to see pictures of him on here. Love your bean in his outfit and believe he will look so cute next to him with this whole steam punk vibe.

Oh my god yes, I had forgotten I saw those images! They all look amazing. I had to to tell my friend immediately when I saw them - he's planning on a dearclassic for his first doll and its hard not to tease him with that. He was flabbergasted by them (and I need to poke him into this thread, actually)

Unfortunately Dearmine e-mailed me before the shipped to tell me the Kimono I ordered for the white version was out of stock, despite it having been in stock for a while after my initial order. Sounded like they didnt pull the set out when I ordered it. :c

That is the head of dearpet Eddy that was released in spring. I managed to get 2 of him. will post a picture. I hope the picture of him I added will be seen on here but I have no clue how to post a picture since den of angeles left tap talk and I can't just upload the pictures from my phone any more.

OMG your beans are so cute and love the outfit on Nero sorry to hear about the kimono. If you still need one for him and need someone to make it for you I have a very talented person on DoA that I am sure would be more then happy to make you one .

 

Thanks moonchild! I'll have to see what other clothes I have coming, since I bought some from Dolk along with two other Beans (haha, I'm too far gone into Bean addiction... qvq). I just wish they'd told me at the time, I would have ordered a second of the "default" outfit!

Oh my god I adored Nero when they released all his pictures but couldn't do a thing about it - your two are just so cute! I'm sorry about your kimono for your other little one - that really sucks. Do they have names yet?

I wish Dearmine outfits would stay in stock a bit longer than they do! They seem to sell out so quickly!

revien -- That is too bad that they didn't pull the outfit for you right away (or if it was a mistake--that they didn't show it on the website so you would know to order something else, or at least what to expect!). But hopefully there will be more Bean-sized clothing! Good luck!

1) does anyone else find that their dear classic clothes can fit yosds??! is that true for all of them or just the two piece ones, does anyone know?
2) how fast do you guys think it will take for the new releases of Oz and Oskar to be sold out? i really want them both but i'm not sure i could even start a layaway next month ;___; unless dearmine would be willing to break their 3-months and let me do 4 or 5 months?? idk how strict they are about that ;__;

Speaking of clothes, I'm wondering what other clothes will fit the Beans? I have one random shirt he can wear and that's it. No clue where it came from, though.

 

I don't have a Classic, but the Pets are pretty close to Yo-sized (shorter arms and legs, basically).

I'd like to hear what fits Beans, too. With the tiny-tinies, it's hard to say, since they are so close in size, but just a little bit off is more important when they are that small, too!

 

For the winter event Storm & Oz sculpts, how quickly do they sell out after initial release? The Dearmine website says only 30 of each will be made. Am I reading that right?!? If so, it may be hard to get one. I really like these two sculpts (and Debon too, hehe).

@Snips&Snails i was wondering the same thing!! in my experience they don't sell out like instantly, but beyond that i'm not really sure... i'm hoping at least a month or two? i remember davinci ~genius~ was up for grabs for quite a while? i still didn't manage to get him tho orz

 

Mostly, the dolls do not sell out. But some do! I think the time runs out before most dolls sell out...

 

The new Storm and Oz are definitely adorable! Wow!

 

I ran across the measurements for Nappy Choo*Soom* and other than leg length, they are pretty equal to our Beans. Spampywear has a Nappy Choo, so there's that possibility. I may just send him to her after the holidays and get her to custom make something, though.
