I'm still so astonished that the Darak girls are not more popular, they are so cute and pose like a dream!!!! I absolutely adore my Remy!!!!

 

@Blablette I've been lurking while considering one, personally, they really are lovely sculpts. And do you mind if I ask what resin color your girl is? I think it might be just what I'm after for an upcoming character.

 

@vicemage She is a tan Remy, she is sold out, but the light-tan Semy looks an adoable colour, too!

I think I might end up going for the next size down (and maybe another sculpt than Remy, since I'm still kind of wanting her as an option for a future possible shell of an OC of mine who, coincidentally, is named Remy), so I'll have to either look around or message them to see if I can get someone in that shade. And until then, I'll keep enjoying everyone's photos here!

 

Hi @vicemage Darak-i just released a new light tan colour - I would ask on their Q&A if they could make you a Remy in that colour (if you like it!) I think it's a wonderful sunkissed colour!

 

@kamia it's definitely lovely, but for the character I have in mind, the darker tan is absolutely perfect, so I think I'll ask about that first. Thank you for letting me know though!

 

Your dolls are soooo beautiful! I wish I could find a Remy in light tan.... sorry if this question has been answered before but, does anyone know if Darak has an update board/blog in english somewhere?

I found this post looking for information about Darak bang dolls xD I'm thinking on buying a Remy but I cannot see the option of the breast size. And looking descriptions they say they got just small and middle busts...

I'm thinking on going for an hybrid if I cannot get the large bust but... Anyone know which houses are compatible with Darak?

 

It seems like they only have the middle breast now. You can see the sizes on the body page. You should ask on their Q&A board if you want the large bust.

Hello all! I was looking into Darak-i for a body for my YOSD head. Does anyone know how fast they are with shipping? I can't find anything about that on DOA.

I've ordered three dolls with makeup and they have been quick at 3 to 5 weeks. The last was early 2015. Someone may have more recent experience to share.

 

@Gothic-Diurnal-Hime Darak-i are generally quick, I've ordered 4 dolls and never had to wait more than a month. Also very good at communication

@Blablette Zaida is so sweet, I love seeing pictures of her. Such a lovely pose too!

@Blablette She is fierce - a perfect description of her! The total opposite to Kestrel, who is a total cutie, and so much more since I gave her such soft chocolate eyes There's something about warm brown eyes!

@stellarphenomena thank you! They've changed a lot in the time I've had them, but they're finally getting to a stage where I'm really enjoying them rather than wishing they were more, if that makes sense

 

kamia, I think I know what you mean.

I feel that way about my Island doll Vivian who I've had for a few years. I changed her hair, eyes, clothes...over and over...And I never really adored her like I do now. It's like "her" ideal look finally came together and I don't (at least not now) want to change it.

 

@stellarphenomena Yeah that's just it, when you find it and you think, I just don't have the urge to change this, it just feels right on you...

The grey wig I totally bought on impulse, and I'm so happy with how it suits Kestrel (Semy), and tbh the same with the blonde wig on Nissa - it looks so good! All by accident. I love it when a doll evolves like this

I'm not sure if this is considered off-topic, but I just put a Tan C-Remy on layaway and I'm too excited!

I posted on Darak's Q&A board and asked if/when they'd be restocking her, and they told me that there was one left. I wasn't quite ready to pay for her immediately, so I put her on a one month layaway. She's on the B body with a middle breast. I kind of prefer the A body, but I'm not too picky.

Just wanted to squee a bit here.

Oh and I have a question. I can feel that my Darak's skin is pretty rough. Is that MSC? I don't really know because my another doll isn't coated.

 

LUTS's wigs for my boy arrived today but they don't fit on him His head should fit in 7-8 inch wig right? These wigs are too tight and they don't stay on his head. I don't know it's normal for LUTS wigs or what

 

taykung: The 7-8 should fit him. Maybe they sent the wrong one or it was tagged wrong...if it's too tight it must be an actual size 6-7, somehow.

I have tried to contact Darak-i on their webpage Q&A, in Facebook and through e-mail. I got a half reply on the Q&A after 6 days, but after that it has been quiet even thou I asked some more questions.

Is it someone here who has bought a doll (or item) from their webpage recently? I visited their Korean site too and I want to buy a wig that only exist on the Korean site, but I'm not sure if I can buy both doll and wig from the Korean site and still get all information in English. It seems like I also need to sign up with a new account on the Korean site if I want to purchase from that site.

 

I also have a question about ordering from Darak-i, if anyone is familiar with it! Hera is marked as sold out; is she discontinued, or does Darak-i tend to have ordering periods for certain sculpts?
