Customizing Chat: What's on your worktable?

I have never modded before... Heck, it took me several years of being in the hobby to even get the guts to do face-ups...

I got a modded Feeple Anu recently. It has an eye opening mod, but it is slightly uneven.

I am thinking of modding the eyes to be more even and giving the "double eyelid" and a pointy ear mod. I have been thinking about getting a Dollstown Hyun, but I want her to have double eyelid and vampire ears... I' m too chicken to go all the way on a new expensive head, so practicing!

Guh, I'm still scared though. x_x But I want to try modding.

 

I own 4 BJDs and none of them is customized T_T I kept forgetting to buy sand paper and the wigs I bought were too big, so I'm keeping all of them in their boxes until I have time D: Not my time...just not...

 

I have my Doll Leaves R hanging out halfway strung. I was going to restring him cause he's been really kicky but I cut the right leg elastic too short so now I have to wait to buy new elastic. So I have legs and other body parts laying around waiting to be strung again just hanging out. Then I have his head, waiting to figure out what is the best stuff to erase a faceup for and getting enough courage to redo it. Then I have a hujoo dana pretty bad looking, I'm trying to fix her up making her all pretty and BA, but I don't have anything to remove her faceup and body blushing and crap all over her hands so everyone is hanging out miserably on my desk like a war zone. woo!

 

I'm currently working on my Souldoll Tarot Hanged man, I've dyed him a light green and sculpted a dragon face onto his complete with horns..plan on more sculpting to make him into a Were dragon

 

I STILL need to give Runa a faceup, I've had her for over a year and finally have the time to do so, school really got away from me! Once Olethe arrives I'll give her one too ^_^ although that's a little while off haha.

 

I'm sanding down the breasts of doom on my dollmore girl. She's on the judith body and is supposed to be innocent and childlike... which doesn't work with the size of those breasts. Sanding is slow work though... 3 hours in and I'm not even done with one breast...

 

I have far too many projects on the go >.<

Face Ups in progress = Cherry Castle Mimo, Luts Summer Event Head 2012 & CH Ange Ai Uri (whilst blushing to match a N-Y skin tone)

Body Blushing = Crobidoll R-Line Body

Tattooing = Ringdoll Teen Body

And gathering parts/materials for my Naiad mod project!!

 

A friend and I are creating Rena and Ashton from Star Ocean II: Second Story. He just needs to mod elf ears onto his ddoll Lia and do the face makeup, but my DIM Jullis needs a lot of work. I am going to build leg extension pieces to make him the same height or taller than Rena (as well as fit the resin heel shoes I bought), I'm going to mod the ddoll shoe parts to have less heel and more armor, I'm going to sculpt his dragons out of apoxy (I have 9 pounds of it!!), I have to install magnets in his back to hold up those dragons, and most importantly I have to do his faceup!

Then I have a new doll that just arrived, an Oasisdoll head on a ddoll Elva16 body. I have to finish modding some Soom man thighs to fit the Galena talon legs I have, then I have to fit the thigh ball joints to fit the Elva hips! I also want to "pad" the body's waist and hips because she is far too skinny for my tastes.

...and of course, there's still my MNM body who has no arms because I started modifying his joints into double-joints but got tired of sanding halfway through.

 

I know this is an old thread but I loved reading all of these!
I'm trying to style a synthetic wig for the first time (it's being HARD) and learning to sew. I have my face-up materials (chalks and pencils) and white glue on my table

 

I am aiming to make some pukipuki wigs... I have made one recently and think I can improve and make more in different variations, in different colours at the very least.

Going to make some more eyes as a couple of heads I have recently faceupped have odd eye wells and need lower domes, and some need more suitable colours.

And going to put together some more large horns as my larger magnets have now arrived currently considering how to customise them as I need to keep them as light as possible. So perhaps need to dig out my foam clay...

And then there are various costumes I need to complete or restart
