Crochet patterns for 1/4 &/or 1/3

Nov 9, 2025

    1. Does anyone have any crochet patterns for bjd accessories/clothing? I’m finding it hard to find any, thank you :)

    2. Hey no I haven’t, thanks for pointing that out

    3. I think for accessories like hats and scarves, it's probably possible to scale down a pattern meant for humans by simply changing the hook size and yarn weight. Some hat patterns, for example, instruct you to use a person's head circumference to determine the size of the band, and to round upwards to the nearest multiple of however many stitches the motif is comprised of. I've been meaning to try this with a skull motif beanie hat I have, with a steel hook and some crochet thread, but have been busy with a different project I need to finish before the holidays. If tension is an important factor, as it is with things like tops and sweaters, it's probably not possible to do, or at the very least not easy, but if you at least have a good idea of how the garment is constructed, you can in theory deconstruct the pattern into its basic parts and alter them to fit a doll.

However to generally answer your question, I have seen patterns for Minifee and a certain off-topic SD size, but I see knitting much more than crochet. KiNataDollsPattern on Etsy has some for the aforementioned off-topic, and Mirage River Creations has a couple for Minifee, but keep in mind I have not tested any of their patterns myself and can't offer any guarantees they'll work. Generally it's wise to beware when shopping for patterns on Etsy, as the platform has a huge problem with AI Generated patterns that don't even make sense, but it's usually a good sign when you can see the finished garment on the doll from multiple angles.

    4. Thanks for the reply, I’m a newbie so tbh I wouldn’t understand how to scale down. I will check out the Etsy shops, thanks

    5. Well, when I sized a pattern down, I went from standard "worsted" weight yarn to a #8 crochet thread, and divided my hook size in mm by 3.

    6. Ravelry will have a lot, if you haven't looked there yet.

    7. I made a pattern for a fairly simple halter neck top a while back. It will fit most slim minis.
