My tiny Yeon-Ho arrived yesterday~ XD

As for the headcaps, I tried it... and it works! Sort of. I can't seem to get it on Lance's head as snugly as I'd like, so there is a bit of a bubble... I don't know if that's how it's supposed to be, I've never used a wig cap before. ^^; But with it on, the wig doesn't slide around or anything. The wig still looks huge on his tiny head, but at least it stays in place!

 

does anyone know if E lines can wear Yo SD clothes and i wonder if the wigs are going to be too big for them..i cant afford to order wigs and clothes for him right now...im broke

 

My ChibiLance can wearwigs meant for Yo SDs okay, though it largely depends on the maker of the wig and the wig style. Some of them are fine, others are a tad loose (but a silicone cap works fine to eliminate the floating wig syndrome). For clothes, he can wear Yo stuff, but again, depending on the cut, it may be baggy. Strangely enough, he can wear a top that used to belong to my (now sold) MNFs, so... ^^;;;

 

Thanks for the help you im adopting my yeon ho from someone off of DOA and i have one more questioyn i have some teenie gem clothes and wigs. Do u think they would fit him?

Thanks and sharkyra and Vienni im so excited to adopt him i want to give him my gloti wig and a blue kimino i have i think it will look really cute on him.i should get him next week cuz he will be shipped on friday.

 

Just got a new Crobi wig and I'm definitely having the 'floating wig' syndrome. And then the wig is much thicker in the front than I had imagined it would be, which is pissing me off a bit because I can't get it to do much, especially with my boy's hoodie (and he wears hoodies quite often)... = v=; Other than that, it's pretty nice. I love the color of Powder Brown. Anyone got any tips on getting this wig to look somewhat like this? My sister is thinking about using thinning shears, but most doll wigs don't have /too/ many layers so I'm nervous and tempted to give up. This wig is starting to look just like his default in a different color, and he's not supposed to have his eyes covered so much with hair. It makes his already dark colored eyes look even darker! Bleh

 

I don't know about thinning it, but you could probably just trim it like you would regular straight bangs, and then see if it still needs thinning?

Well, if it's any consolation, I don't take many pics of my tiny Lance (mainly because he's not complete yet), so maybe there are tiny Yeon-Ho owners who haven't/don't take many pictures of their boy too. :3

I'm back! I'm buying my Lance some new eyes, but... I actually don't know what would look best: 14mm, or 12mm? The website says 14mm-16mm, and I usually go for the smaller size, but there's no way 16mm could fit in Lance's head, right? His eyes aren't that big! Wouldn't he look like a bug? So now I'm wondering if I should get him 12mm...
I don't know what size eyes he has in his head now, to be honest. He came with them when I got him second(third)hand.
My fellow Lance-a-loves, what eye size have you been using? What do you prefer?

 

My boy's wearing 14mm eyes. :3 16mm low-domes will fit, but most of the eye space is full of iris. ^^;; If you like the large-eyed, cute fawn look, 16mm is okay, but I personally think it's kinda big. To me, 12mm eyes make him look too mature, which was really terrible when he still had his default faceup. And I kinda was using my existing 12mms for my tiny-eyed SD dolls, so I had none to spare for him anyway. XD

On that note, have you guys ever had this problem? My dolls always want things, ever since I first got into the hobby... but with Reiji, my Lance, he wants other dolls. I've been planning on making him a guardian some time in October (an iplehouse) but he demanded a friend last week, so I bought another tiny (a honey delf) for him to cuddle. u_u he's just got one of those faces, I guess.

@Kiradyn OMG! Your Lance is SO CUTE!
I don't like wiping limited faceups... even if I don't like the way they look, as was the case for my Reiji. (That soulpatch...!) I feel like I'm committing a crime if I do it. TT^TT And I don't think I'd ever do him justice myself... I learned to love his faceup, instead.
Who did you commission to do such a beautiful faceup? I love how happy he looks. If ever my Lance decides to faceplant or play in the mud, I'd use it as an excuse to get him a makeover!

 

koka>> His is the first default faceup I've removed. I normally leave the company faceup on (otherwise I order the doll blank). It's just that I really hated how it looked. It came down to changing the faceup or selling the doll. And I do like his sculpt. The faceup was just horrid and overly mature for him. ^^;; He's supposed to be a little boy, the youngest brother to 2 SDFs and 2 Lances. :3

@Kiradyn I hope I didn't come off as critiquing you for removing it ^^; I meant you are very brave to do it! I'm such a chicken when it comes to those things... He's my first and only limited. But yes, I agree -- his faceup is so grown-up compared to the rest of him, he's more like a chibi version of big Lance as opposed to a baby version of him! Sometimes I think about removing it and trying something younger, but then I know I'd never make the eyes as pretty as the way Crobi did them. So maybe getting a professional to do it would be the best option.
I'm on the hunt for a different body for my Reiji, and I'm thinking I'll try a honey delf body. I'm going to test it out when his friend finally comes home from Luts. I have this plan: if the body's a decent enough match, I'll buy the sleeping version of this particular honey delf I've purchased (probably early next year) and I'll give the body that doll comes with to Reiji. By then, maybe I'll be brave enough to have someone tackle a new faceup for him!

Here he is at work with me. He fits right in... It took my coworkers a couple of days to notice he was there!

As far as resin matching goes, one of my Lance heads is on a SDF body. My Lances seem to photograph a bit yellower than my SDF bodies, but in person, while there's some difference, it's not enough to stop me from putting my older Lance head on my Abadon's body. I have comparison pics somewhere. I recall someone asked about the Crobidoll body vs. the SDF body.

I'm so happy too ;v; Just a few days ago I noticed how adorably adorable Tori is >^< And then I saw they added E-line to the basics o.o I was expecting new releases, somewhat, but I'm more than happy they're just releasing them as basics ;;v;;
It'll take a loooong time before I can get my Tori tho u-u

 

I'm really excited for this re-release!! I wanted Ara so much when he/she (they?) first came out, and was disappointed when I didn't get one. Although it was the Ring Ara set that I wanted, the opportunity to finally get an Ara is so tempting!!! *u*

Are they limited for that day, or is there a limited quantity of each doll? (I'm referring to the basic ones, not the 2 in the limited corner. :3)

 

Them basics are basics, to be sold at all times after their release date. They have a promotion for those who order first, I don't know for how many that'll be.

 

I also love Tori so much, because he have a sad face, so cool, very tiny. I hope a chance to take him.
And this release have more cute hands.

 

I like the optional hands, but they seem to be a 'while stocks last' kinda thing. I wish they were available in the shop as optional parts. :P I'd totally get a set of each! 8D

You might want to double check with Crobi to see if that's possible. For E-Line, they only list
"Yeon-ho Day Dream E Line Only One (For Dollism Plus Tokyo)" as being unavailable for Face up Order so maybe they will do broken Tori's face-up?

After a friend told me about Lance being released as a basic, now I'm coveting. : D What size wigs are your E-Lines wearing? Are they 5-6 size?

 

6-7 i would hope since they are yo's and thats what i ordered XD

Jumping in here as I just spotted the regular release Lance! I've been wanting him for ages, so now to just save up and be done with it and get him home in time for Halloween hijinks. :3 Its quiet awesome Crobi has decided to add the E-line as regular models. ^_^

 

Totally agree! I've been waiting and waiting for Crobi to re-release little Lance and pinging Crobi about it every now and then. Sooo, I finally ordered him yesterday! Timing is actually not that great since I've got big moving expenses right now, but I just couldn't wait any longer to get him.

Love that E line Lance is back but I miss his kitty self. However, I have fallen hard for the E line Boni! I think she will be the perfect little sister for my C line Heidi! I think I might need to save up soon.

 

ohh just discovered the little cuties then and i immediately fell in love with little boni, which is annoying, at least she should be there forever, struggling to decide between a new doll and a laptop (and the doll i want is a limited edition) it's soooo annoying, oh well, i'll get boni one day, in the meantime i look forward to joining this discussion and seeing everyones cuties
