Crobidoll E-Line tinies!

Well, the problem is I'm not sure how many people on the site actually GOT one. Didn't they sell out in like a day or something?

I LOVE Ara, she/he looks like a baby Heidi and I have a Crobidoll Marie so I'd love a little sister for her. But unless they re-release them I doubt I'll get one.

Well, after missing out on him on his first sale last week, I luckily snatched the last Lance Cheshire Kitten this morning. I'm going to spam him all over the place once he gets here

 

I've not heard of these dolls before so I was eager to look at the photos. I have to say that the only one that really captures my eye is Silver Ring Ara, although I'm not quite sure what the thing with that red question mark is all about!

Yeah, to be honest Katnekochan, I didn't know there was one. o_0 Cross is so adorable, I can't wait to see both of your Lances together, that will be too cute! He reminds me I definitely made the right doll choice.

 

hm...i'm kind of surprised that i couldn't find much Crobi tinies...i have a silver ring ara and he's adorable! but his little question mark is broken so i have to fix it

 

I love crobi tiny dolls very much!! But it seems not popular here.

sakuraayase: Thanks for all those pictures! You're lucky to have so many Crobi E-lines. They're all lovely, but the Silver Ring Ara is my favourite. I've got a Boni on the way and the outfit I got for him/her is a lot like the one in your second photo.

Nah, they haven't started shipping them out yet! They said near the end of September they would begin the shipping! : D I'm eagerly awaiting him.

Ugh I'm so jealous! I really wanted him but then talked myself out of him since I already had kitten lance... so much regret! I really hope they do something for Halloween with the tinies. Now that I've sueded lance to pose better, I want more! xD

I really want some cool punkish clothes for my lance. Does anyone have suggestions? I was searching online for hours it seemed like ^^;

Have you tried Tata's paradise and Nine 9 Style? They have some really cool (some of it punky) Yo clothes. Tata's has a shop on Taobao too, so I'd try there too. ^^

 

Oooh, I'll have to try Tata's. I've bought from nine 9 style before, but I wanted more selection.

The cheshire kitten default outfit is actually very difficult to deal with in my opinion. I don't know what they were thinking when they made it ^^;

Reitaism;; Oh, that outfit... It is very difficult. >.< It's hard for him to move in, too! And those ribbons... I didn't even mess with them!

Did you notice there's like different versions of the outfit? I have one with four hooks and stuff, and the whole strings-thingies that hook in the front are made of the soft material. I've seen some that have a more 'leathery' looking, and others that only have two hooks to make the 'straitjacket' look!

You know, I did notice differences, but I thought maybe it was due to people trying to make the outfit work. I put it on him completely and took pics once and that was it. The jacket thing doesn't even really fit. It's an odd outfit, but he's so utterly cute.

And thanks about the pics the girl beside him is my Pipos dark Alice with a custom faceup. They are my only two tinies and are inseparable

 

Ooh, how could I have missed this thread? I'm waiting on a Caged Ara currently! Hopefully now that Crobi has released another group of E-Lines, more will show up on this thread!

 

The Cheshire Kitten boots make it really hard for little Lance to stand. D:

 

I think its his legs that make him hard to stand lol. I couldn't do much with him at all until I hot glue sueded him ^^; I was really upset with the body until sueding, now it's manageable

 

Nah, it's the default boots. They make him lean over at the ankles. With his new little loafers, or barefoot, I can just pop him on a table or something and he just stands. 8D I love the little guy.

 

Good to know he stands well without the boots. I forgot to check, are Crobi tinies double jointed or not? I don't really mind if they're not, my Volks Kakeru isn't and he still poses like a dream. ^^

On the contrary, they'd be VERY popular if they weren't so difficult to get. People just don't own them due to the very limited releases.

Katnekochan I think the lighter colours make him look more mature somehow! I agree about the wig modelling... Somehow seeing how cute he looks with some of those wigs just makes me wanna buy them T_T Sad to hear about your cat :'( I love cats (and dogs)!

Ah, he has lots of company, but not many clothes to impress them with. :C Poor little boy. My boy's just a typical school kid, though he's trying to impress one of my little girls. Aaah, my little Lance (Kitten) is a bit of a punk, so he wears dark-ish clothes and shorts. XD And he also likes wearing things with cats, because I love cats. His favorite little outfit is the one with the little bandanna. > u< His brother is going to borrow his other outfit eventually, which is some jeans and a kitten hoodie. XD

w00... Even though I have my own Lance, I still drool over everyone else's Lances on here xD I really want a second lance. I did order Yeon-Ho B! He looks a little odd in the pics, but i think he'll be cute.

 

I just received my Cheshire Kitten Lance~ I bought him off the market place. He's my second tiny, and he is gorgeous! Definitely a beautiful boy, and one I plan to keep for a long, long time.
I had to do some work on him when I got him home--the headcap popped off whenever I picked him up, and I realized it was because the magnets weren't staying in, even with glue. I finally managed, though!
@Reitaism, my Lance is all floppy too. You say you sueded him? Did you get a big improvement? My Lance's head flops all over the place. It wouldn't be so bad if the resin on his neck wasn't so thin--I'm afraid he'll chip if I move his head myself, let alone if it moves on it's own.
Other than being a bit wobbly, he's wonderful. I almost want to hunt the market for the other little Lance release so I can have two. I'm eager to see what other dolls they miniaturize... if they make a tiny Ys, I might die!

 

I think if Ys was made as a tiny, I'd definitely squee xD I'd have to have him no question lol

My lance was not so much floppy as he was kicky and his legs wouldn't lay straight, they were always kicking out at angles. Doing a little hot glue sueding changed things night and day

 

Has anyone else had trouble with crobi's wigs not fitting Lance's tiny head? I bought some 6-7 wigs for him, and they fit Ara's big head, but they don't fit Lance at all... I guess I should get a 5-6 wig for him, then? I think it's silly that crobi doesn't sell that size. I'm such a fangirl of their wigs!

 

I'd suggest getting one of those sillicone cap-things and using it with a 6-7" wig, because I don't think the 5-6" is going to fit well. And that way, you can still get Crobi wigs!

 

For now, I'm using a rubber band. It's working rather well!
My next question is: Does Crobidoll resin match Fairyland resin? I was thinking of getting a littlefee body for my little Kitten Lance, and I know a friend would like to do the same for her Ara. Anyone have both who could compare and let me know?

 

koka>> They don't match. I took a look at my LTF Elf El girl next to my Kitty Lance, and the Fairyland resin is much peachier than the Crobi resin, which is more yellowish than peach. They're of a similar shade/level of colour, but different colours, if you get what I mean. It's not a totally bad match, but it's not one I'd personally go for.

 

I actually just got crobi wigs and am having this problem too.. I figured a cap wouldn't help me much because the wig doesn't even sit right, but Gah... Love so much, its a shame.. so I'm determined to make it work. I tried the wig on lance, then Boni, neither worked.. I sorta got it for my Yeon-Ho but now I guess we'll see...

I got my shipping notice, so my Yeon-Ho will actually be here Monday or Tuesday!
