I'm very excited¡ right now I just bought the new one Ys Day Dream Limited

 

Hi everyone, this my first time posting in this thread. Hopefully it's the right place! I just recently made an order for Yeon-Ho Day Dream version Hermit Limited... I'm a bit confused as to what the difference is between different day dream versions... Is it just the default company faceup that is different? If I don't order the faceup, is the Hermit version the same as the Nameless version? This is the first time I'm ordering from Crobidoll. Sorry if this question is a bit basic.. thanks!!

 

Hello and welcome,

Since you ordered the Hermit version:
The default faceup will be the Hermit faceup.
If you would like the other version's faceup, you would have to use the [Face up Order] option.
If you didn't order any faceup, he will be blank (no faceup).

Thanks for the info! So the difference between different Yeon-Ho dream versions is default face up? Sculpt is the same?

 

You're welcome. I'm pretty sure it's the same sculpt with different face up versions.

 

Is it okay to ask a question here? I'm curious about Dollism Plus Tokyo 2018. Crobidoll is selling Cookie Cream Vampire Lance and I'm SUPER INTERESTED but I'm worried if it's a lottery system I might not go at all. I suck at lotteries I never win. There's not much detail on the site and I only use google chrome's built in translator. Do limited dolls like those in Dollism always a lottery system?

 

Their lotteries are usually limited to the one-off dolls at Dollism. This does not seem like it but there is only 7 of them available.. could be a first come first serve kinda thing ?

Hello, I came to last Dollism Plus Tokyo ^___^ they do first come first serve, but if you really want it, please come far earlier from the opening hour. Japanese tends to queue far earlier to get the dolls, they even lined up hours before the open gate. See you there ^___^

 

Could someone measure the diameter of the ball joint for the hand for the M line girl body?

I'm going to be ordering Zia shortly and the character she's going to be based off of wears gloves (and I want to get a head start on making them)

 

Hello everyone.. just wanted to drop in and say hi... I have been out of the active side of the hobby for quite some time.... A little sad to find that the crobi thread is as quiet as ever. All in all I'm happy to see everyone again though and I hope I can share some photos of my old man with you very soon!

I don't seem to have much to say about Crobi doll... and not many have the biiiiig boys. Not surprising as they're so bloody pricey with no layaway options. I got mine second hand but was soooo happy to do so!


He does need more pics though.

Here's a random phone snap of my DD Lance (ver.2) that I shot for someone who was asking! I wasn't really feeling his default faceup, so I had it changed, and I think it's really given him a whole different personality!

@chalyss ahhhhh! your boy is just so lovely!!! Gorgeous... his eyes are captivating... (I won't even talk about his body :P ) I do think that dolk and fabricfriends and dolls both carry crobi and offer layaway though. I would have never been able to afford my Hobin if it weren't for FF&D as a matter of fact. Argh... if only it weren't for work I'd be able to take photos of his beautiful new faceup and clothes, but alas he will have to wait for the upcoming weekend.... >_<

@kiradyn_rhiode wow... wow... wow... okay... he looks sneaky and smirky and he might be one of the most interesting DD Lances I have ever seen! He's so lovely....

I'm just going to leave you with an old picture of my Keiichi... even his wig has been better styled now and he has proper glasses so please look forward to him looking much more decent when I next post him around....

...for some reason, I thought Crobi was only distributed by itself. *L* But I did look into FF&Dolls just now and they have limited Crobi dolls offered. The G-line is so rare and huge and sold so conservatively, that I'm not sure it's sold off the mother site. I actually found mine on ebay but the seller lived in the same state, so we were able to arrange pickup in person. Saved a ton in shipping! And I was super lucky- he's the one I wanted years ago and always missed the event.

 

I adore his smirkiness!!! And i love the freckling on Keiichi!!!

 

Here's for something more recent! I feel like I'm literally the only person with "old/er" characters/dolls sometimes ahahaha.

@chalyss The G-line trully is.... To be honest I have pined over it since seeing the sheer magnitude of the scale next to the B-line in the manual when I got Kei... it's just out of this world... The one that got away from me would be Red... I still wish that I might be able to find one in the future someday... so lucky that you were able to get yours!!

@kiradyn_rhiode thank youuu! it's a bit subtler nowadays, but his freckles and wrinkles are my favorite thing!!

Hello, I have a bit of an odd question, would someone with an older Crobi (like 2009-2014) be able to show me the inside of their headcap please?

From my experience, R-line don't fit anything SD17 so SD13 is probably the safer bet

Does anyone have pictures of Sinbi (shinbi)? I love her sculpt but she's always sold out whenever I have money for her.

For any Zion owners out there, I’ve a question... Do you guys use the size 8 or 9-10 wigs from Crobi for him? I’ve been considering Zion for a while now but want to buy a couple wigs with him too if (when?) I do place the order, just to save some on the godawful shipping, but I’m not sure which will fit better. (I see Zion in a few of the 8 inch wig photos that don’t otherwise specify that what is being pictured is the 9-10 inch version of the same, so...)

I’m rather sad that a lot of the wigs I want from Crobi are out of stock and they don’t seem remotely interested in restocking things nowadays :c

@Kalyx I ordered a 9-10 for mine, there's not a huge amount of stretch in the wig itself so a 8in would be pretty tight! His head measures 9in

 

@Shido Thanks! I'll take another look in that category. At the moment though, it seems I'm out of luck getting a Crobi wig for Zion, since all the colors I was considering of the style I wanted are out of stock... D:

 

I just ordered my first doll and had the same issue... However, I did notice on their announcements tab that they restock wigs every few months. I'm going to stalk their page and hopefully I'll be ready for the next round. Etsy has some good wigs though!

I'm going on one month since I placed my order for Yeon-Ho... I can do this! We had a local meetup party in AZ and one of the members had a Lance doll there. I'm 100% convinced I made the right choice for my first doll. The sculpt is so beautiful and they're so sturdy. Such a cuddly doll It's going to be so fun to take him to all of the cons here!

 

My Lancelia boy just got home from the face up artist recently. Isn't he just perfect?! This is Shiki one of my oldest OCs, and the first one I ever wanted to shell into a BJD.

Is there a problem with the Crobidoll website? It won't let me log in. I even created a new account but it won't let me log in using that one either.

Edit: Nvm. Working now. Must have typo'd something.

 

Received my doll tonight and he has uneven makeup. The right eye appears much smaller than the left. I left a message on Crobi's board but honestly I'm not sure what they're going to do. This was my first doll and I'm pretty crushed.

Um I am not seeing what your seeing? But, Maybe it’s the eyes in the head? I would give them a change to smaller eyes and see if helps?
