CP Delf Discussion Part 11

Aug 19, 2019

    1. All this talk about Chiwoo is making me want to change Shuichi's outfit! He's been in it for quite some time, and I'm tired of looking at him in it. I'll post a pic of him here when I'm done.

      Ryu

    2. @Kirahfaye I'm sorry I missed your gorgeous lishe! She's so lovely, but then how can a Lishe not be? I've seen punk Lishes that were gorgeous, LOL :D

@Ryuichi Sakuma 13 and I missed your sleeping Yder, she's got such a sweet smile, it would win anyone over! The braids are fun as braids too :D Very elf like :D I'd love to see Shuichi's in any outfit :D

    3. I just realized exactly how much work poor Shuichi needs.

Not only does he need a faceup, he needs his canon wig, eyes, and I promised him way back when I got him at least one of his outfits from the anime. :sweat Welp, looks like I'm going to be pretty busy getting this boy to look like his anime version.

The original Shindou Shuichi, from the series 'Gravitation'.

And my Shuichi as he currently looks like, still rockin' that '90s look! :XD:

Its going to be fun getting him to look closer to his anime counterpart! But first, deciding what to start working on first.

    4. I vote for the shorts and vest and stockings with belt buckles! It's a good time to be doing Anime, as they make great anime eyes now too :D How fun! I can't wait to see him finished!

    5. Honestly, I'd like to try and make that outfit for him someday. It will be a bit of a pain, since I only know how to sew by hand, and I'm probably an intermediate seamster (a male seamstress, I googled it :whee:) but maybe.

This is the outfit I think I want to try and buy or make first, since its relatively simple.

I've never made a raglan before, but I think I can find the pink shirt and cargo pants. Maybe I can find a green-sleeved white raglan and dye the white parts yellow. *sigh* This is going to be a real project! Maybe I'll make a project thread for it when I finally start.

IngieBee, where did you see anime eyes at? I'm re-discovering DoA, and a lot has changed over the last couple of years.

      Ryu

    6. He's awesome @Ryuichi Sakuma 13! I bet he'll be so cute when he's done!

It snowed here, I wish I could take some pics in the snow, but alas, this will have to do!

    7. When Alphie (my Chiwoo)'s original faceup faded badly, I was worried he wouldn't be himself any longer if I had him repainted, but something had to be done he was still my little boy when he came back to me:

He's still just like he was when he came to me as my fiurst BJD back in 2005

    8. @Ryuichi Sakuma 13 Your Chiwoo is way too cute to be without a face up- gotta get him painted! But the pink fur wig he's currently wearing could look like the one in the Gravitation pic, I think... it just needs some styling and a cut :3

@Teddy Your Chiwoo looks lovely :3 You tried to make his 'new face up look like his original one, yes? There's some fading on my Chiwoos face up- it doesn't show in photos, but it's there- and it does bother me a bit tbh -__-

    9. That's right - I asked the artist to keep it as close to the original as they could, and they really got it close for me.

I was the same, but waited until it was really very faded until I plucked up the courage to get anything done.

      Teddy

    10. Beautiful dolls! Well done on the Faceup @Teddy ! @SacredMonsoon oh wow, how beautiful! Hope you can do some snow pictures before it melts :D

    11. @IngieBee, I actually have a sewing machine, and if I knew how to use one, I would consider using it to make Shuichi's clothes. But I'm more confident in my hand sewing at this point.

@Lotte Rotten, I really want a fiber wig for Shuichi. His current one is just too pink, its supposed to be more of a darker pinkish-purple. It took me a good five or more years before I found wefts for Ryuichi's fiber wig and now that I made it into a wig I need to find someone who can cut it for me.

Its somewhat annoying to be a perfectionist when it comes to my Crew.*_*

      Ryu

    12. Yah, when you sew small, it gets quite hard. You need a walking foot usually, for leather & vinyl and for anything slippery. But at least SD size isn't as bad as tinies! LOL

    13. I just wanted you to know, I have no idea what you mean by "walking foot!" I really know nothing about my sewing machine, other than IIRC, its a 1974 Singer.

I don't mind hand sewing for my dolls, honestly I find it relaxing. I just put on Netflix and sew. My tinies don't have bodies yet, so I don't need to worry about sewing for them...yet.

Here is a quick pic I just took of Manfred, Ryuichi and his OC twin Ryuma.

    14. Most companies make walking feet for their machines. It's sometimes called an "even-feed foot" and is a special foot that has a set of feed dogs (the bits that pull the fabric along under the needle) so that the layers of fabric are fed evenly through the machine with the usual set under the fabric and the walking foot over the fabric (https://www.singermachines.co.uk/pu...1561487e6eb3cefa772dae034/i/m/img00000719.jpg)

Oooh! I like the horns on the Shiwoo (and the spider shirt)

      Teddy

    15. I'll eventually take a class on how to use sewing machines. Then I'll learn all this stuff, and hopefully will be able to use the Singer.

Ryuichi (the Open Eye Shiwoo) is only wearing the horns right now "just because." They were a gift, and I think I ended up with the last two pairs from the dealer. I've seen them come up for sale every now and then.

IIRC, Ryuichi's spiderweb shirt glows in the dark. I'll have to check. Its one of my favorites that I bought from a seller here on DoA.

I'm glad you like him, Ryuichi is just kind of plopped down on a table in the bedroom, his hair is a mess, and so is Ryuma's hair (the one cosplaying as the 10th Doctor from Doctor Who). Ryuma is a Dreaming Shiwoo. These two are such a mess right now. I really should take proper pics of them, but I'm kind of enjoying Ryuma in his cosplay, its been a long while since he's worn it.

Incidentally, his 10th Doctor suit is one I hand-sewed. I even lined it. It took me two months of trial-and-error, but I think it looks pretty good. I'll try to get better pics of it.

Thank you for all the advice and love for my two messy Shiwoo! :XD:

      Ryu

    16. I love seeing all your dolls. I really hope one day I can get an El head. He's my second grail of cp dolls!

    17. I know what you mean! If I was to have a CP grail doll, it would be a Soony head. I really want to make it into a boy.

      Ryu

    18. Ooh a boy soony would be cool! I like soonys too, I don't know if I want to own one though. I prefer to admire them! :XD:

    19. I'm particularly fond of Shiwoos, since that was the first BJD I fell in love with (of course, that was the CP Delf Elf Shiwoo which had alreay dold out before I knew they even existed, so I didn't get one). Good luck with your sewing journey and learing to use your machine (and the hunt for a Soony head)

      Good Hunting!

      Teddy

    20. @Ryuichi Sakuma 13 , you're so funny! I don't blame you for staying away from the sewing machines. Sometimes they can be temperamental pain in the you know what:lol: and your boys couldn't be more adorable!!! You know, if I could sew by hand, that would be quite freeing. I'd be able to sew anywhere! I should learn this!!!:XD:

    21. Honestly, @IngieBee, it was the sewing tutorials here on DoA that taught me how to hand-sew.

Back when I first got Ryuichi, I couldn't afford to get him any clothes, so I found a tutorial on how to make a hoodie from socks. It took trial-and-error, but I made him one from socks I found at a thrift store for cheap that I could experiment with and not care if I destroyed them. He still has that hoodie and still wears it! I'm pretty proud of it. Its a good thing I'm both stubborn and determined.

I kept searching for different tutorials, and kept making things, and before I knew it, I had found a tutorial on how to make a suit jacket. Since I wanted to take Ryuma with me to an anime convention, I started working on his 10th Doctor's outfit way beforehand. Its the thing I'm currently most proud of hand-sewing. I even entered it into a cosplay contest! He didn't win anything, but I think it was because a couple of the judges were freaked out by dolls.:( Still, they were all pretty impressed that someone could sew something that small and that accurately.

Incidentally, the tutorials also made me a better cosplayer, since I could take something that was already made and change it to fit my needs. I took a hoodie that had wings already on it and added horns, spines and a tail to turn it into a dragon hoodie. That's the human-sized thing I'm most proud of.

I'll try to take pics of Ryuma's suit so I can show it off some. I'm really grateful to all the people that took the time to post tutorials here on DoA that taught me how to hand-sew!

    22. I love how active this thread has been lately! It makes me so happy!

@Ryuichi Sakuma 13 I hope you can get your Soony! Soony is my favorite sculpt of all time from any company. I saw a boy Soony once a long long time ago and he looked super cute and sweet.

@SacredMonsoon I honestly don't know what my favorite picture of my CP dolls would be! That is really tough! I can share one I have always loved but I don't know if it really is a favorite!

This is a pretty old picture of Inanna but she looks super sultry and sexy to me here. I just love it (and her!) Love that delf girl body <3

    23. You're awesome, @Ryuichi Sakuma 13 ! I'd love to see your photos of the Doc :D I love all your work, it's amazing that you did it all by hand! You should get into accurate historical renaissance costuming :D. I could never... but wow, it'd be cool!

@malvinas I just adore your Inanna, she is so pretty! I've always craved big realistic dolls in my life, and since that "need" has finally been satiated, I start to crave more anime, fantasy dolls more. I'm glad I could have both :) Soony would be fantastic to score!

    24. You know, I was just looking at the index page for Large Doll Discussion, and saw CP Delfs right near the top. And I said, ah, it's probably just the newer Delfs...but maybe.... Glad to see it's on classic Delfs and going strong!

I'm quietly amazed that despite my tastes changing over the past 11 years towards more realistic sculpts, that I still can't see getting rid of my Delfish hoard. They do have a way of hanging onto one's heart....

      • x 2
    25. @IngieBee Thank you so much! I love that other people love her too! I love all my Delfs but Inanna was my first and will always hold the most special of places in my heart.

@hobbywhelmed I really love how much activity this thread has received recently! The CP Delfs are the most nostalgic dolls for me, and I think will always be my favorites. There is something really special about the feeling the old dolls evoke I think.

And sharing one of my old favorite pictures of Inanna made me want to do the same for my other delfs as well, so here is Rae. This picture is really old (2010ish I think) and she doesn't have this faceup anymore, but I loved how angelic she looked here so it's still one of my favorites.

    26. @malvinas your girls are so beautiful! I love Inanna, she's one of my fave soonys!

I also love seeing this thread so active! It's so great to see!

Here's Feather, one of my favourite shots. She looks so calm and sweet here, and the coziness I really like.

    27. @malvinas, that is an amazing pic of Inanna! Love it!

Yeah, I have my eyes open for a soony head, hopefully I'll find one one day.

@IngieBee, I'm more the "how creative or fantastical can I make an outfit look" kinda guy. I take my time when I sew, and I often have to go back and fix things I messed up on, especially if I'm watching a movie at the same time. The seam ripper is your friend! :wiggle

@hobbywhelmed, I'm not really that into the non-CP Delfs. I prefer the classics! And now that my health is better, I'm happy to get back into my Delf Crew. I have a couple that need work and now, once I get the money, I'm going to do just that! Realistic dolls are cool, just not really my thing, although I do have two or three. I originally got into BJDs because I could make my favorite anime characters into resin versions of themselves, which I'm still doing. Shuichi, my Chiwoo is finally getting the attention he deserves! Like I mentioned in post #243, he needs eyes, a wig, a faceup and at least one of his outfits from his anime to start off with.

@malvinas, I agree, CP Delf BJDs are not only iconic, but probably my favorite BJDs. There's simply something special about them, some kind of magic, I think. ;)And Rae looks so sweet! What sculpt is she?

Feather's looking cute as always, @SacredMonsoon!

I'm glad that everyone's enjoying my ramblings, I really am happy to be back in the hobby and finally able to work on getting my Delf Crew to look the way they need to!

      Ryu

    28. @Ryuichi Sakuma 13 thank you! Feather appreciates it! ♡

I must say I love delfs more than most dolls, I love the old delfs more than the new ones too, I like them both as I love the CP/Fairyland dolls. But I think old delfs will always be my most favorite. :)

I really hope I can move so I can get my dolls and my sewing machine out to create new clothes for Feather! I want to make her a new dress!

Popping in with a pic of Raven. I think I finally figured out positioning her eyes! >.<

@malvinas I love the pics of Inana and Rae
@SacredMonsoon your pics of Feather give me a feeling of being home, warm and inviting.

    30. Ooooh Pretty

      Teddy

    31. @SacredMonsoon Feather is beautiful as always! I understand the itch to move so you can enjoy your dolls again! I moved a couple weeks ago and all of my dolls are still in their boxes. It's so sad! I need to get my shelves up so I can display them all again.

@Ryuichi Sakuma 13 Thank you! I'm glad you like Rae and Inanna. Rae is a Lishe!

@taixonay Raven is beautiful! Soony eyes are some of the hardest to position for sure! I think you did a great job with them! I find I can't have Inanna looking forward because she looks crazy if I do. Like Raven she always has a bit of a sideways glance going.

And since I am on a kick of picking my favorite picture of my cp delf crew, next up is one of my favorites of Andrien. Also a pretty old picture (2013 I believe). I need to take more new pictures of my delfs. I have admittedly been more focused on my mini sized dolls the last couple years and I feel bad about it now that I am realizing all of my favorites of my big dolls are so old!

    32. Ooh, so glad you are doing well! @Ryuichi Sakuma 13 . Can't wait to see Shuichi finished, and that Pikachu costume really is amazing!!!

I love winter when everyone dresses their dolls in cute and cuddly hats and coats! I don't have any for my dolls, which is one of the things I need to rectify :whee:

@taixonay Raven is as stunning as ever, and those princess Di eyes make a cute expression :love

@malvinas , Andrien is so adorable, he does deserve more picture time!

    33. I acquired a Juri06 some time ago that had been modded to have a third "eye" opening. I vaguely remember that she had been part of a set of dolls modded to be characters from something. The other was done in red (or red/black?) I never had notes of the original posts, which are now long gone, and it was a number of years later that this head came up on the MP without any background information attached.

@Ryuichi Sakuma 13 - in an era when most fans have moved on to far newer series, it's great to see your devotion to Gravitation! Besides bjd, do you still have other collectibles from the show?

    34. @hobbywhelmed, wow, I LOVE her curly whimsical eyebrows! Her boyfriend doesn't look lurid to me, and looks like he'd make a perfect match!

I'm not happy with my Juri. I don't know what she needs, but I think I need to come up with something fairy-like, and maybe curly/colorful hair. She needs more attention.

    35. @taixonay thank you! I'm glad my pictures come out so! Raven is beautiful for sure! I love soonys!

@malvinas yes its so stressful! I've been away from my dolls for 3 years so i'm praying that i get moved soon! I hope to see more of your dollies too! Andrien is so precious too, i want to hug him!

@hobbywhelmed your juris are so unique!

@IngieBee i hope you can figure out your juri soon! I love her sculpt! She's so cute!

    36. I thought I recognized that Juri06! I remember them and their red and black partner from back in the day. I wonder if there's still pics of them around DoA somewhere? If not, then its a great loss, they were very unique dolls.

I love your '06 couple, they're very cool! The NaNuRi doesn't look "lurid" to me, they look pretty sweet and otherworldly. :D

Oh, I do have a few Gravitation collectables, most notably a (pretty beat-up and battered) original Kumagorou and a slightly newer one as well. That one is in nearly new condition, but my original one actually got to meet Murakami Maki-sensei when she came to America for the first time as an anime convention guest! She said he was "well-loved," and I ended up fighting off onion-cutting ninja after that. :aninja: I was going through a bad time then, and her kind words just hit me square in the feels.

Of course, I have some pins and other Gravitation swag, and I also used to cosplay as Sakuma Ryuichi. I've since retired all of his cosplays, but I still have all of the ones I made, including the infamous bunny PJs. :3nodding:

I think I'm done with collecting/making Gravitation BJDs. I have Ryuichi, Noriko, Tohma, Tatsuha, Shuichi and of course Yuki Eiri. Yuki is the only one that doesn't have a body yet, but his faceup is done and he has a wig. Ryuichi, Noriko and Shuichi are on topic for this thread, but if you want to see more Gravitation-related BJDs,
I started a Gravitation thread a while back. Of course, if its inappropriate to post links to other threads, feel free to delete the link. I'm also trying to figure out how to download all of my old pics onto my newer desktop from photobucket, so please forgive the broken pic links. I'd like to be able to repost my old pics in the Gravitation thread, but it'll take me a while since there were so many. :sweat

It's going to be fun chronicling Shuichi's transformation into his true self, I can't wait to be able to afford to start doing so! :XD:

Anyways, I'm done waxing poetic about Gravitation. :whee:

@IngieBee, I can't wait to see what you do with your Juri, I always love seeing what people do with their Delf!

      Ryu

    37. @
Ryuichi Sakuma 13 - it's annoying sometimes when you realize either you should have kept more information on a purchase or the seller didn't disclose enough. I've got another Delf, a Breakaway, with the same kind of heavy faceup as the Nanuri, and sometimes I wonder if they were done by the same person - or maybe I just secondhanded myself into some kind of trend that was going on back then. (I like to think they were inspired by a very old anime I'm fond of - Patarillo - with a tall secret agent who's entire male side of his family apparently all wore solid blue eyeshadow!

@IngieBee - give it a shot! You're bound to find something that sets the rest of the perfect look into motion!

@malvinas - that's such a lovely photo of him. Lol on 2013. I've been having some periods when dolls only get to come out to go to a meet. And "meet-years" run on a different time-rate - sometimes it feels like you just had a particular doll to a meet, but you check, back and it was four years ago! (And Inanna is wonderful! I agree about the Delf girl bodies. I do wish their necks had been a bit thicker, but they can't be beat for the easy way they just look lovely in poses.

@taixonay - Raven is gorgeous! Soony is one of those sculpts about which I tell myself, no you don't want one, the eyes are so large.... and then I'm staggered by how beautifully others style her!

    38. @hobbywhelmed, I really like your Breakaway boy, love the scale mail! I have a Breakaway boy, but being a MNF, he's off topic for this thread.

I have to admit, I miss the trend of boys with heavy eye makeup. Eventually, Manfred will have a Gothy, dark faceup to match his Gothic personality.

Does anyone else still have any Delf with heavy makeup? Especially boys. I need ideas! :mwahaha

      Ryu

    39. Delf's are adorable. No other dolls arouse in me such emotions as I feel at the sight of Delp's. I got an unnecessary modified head Lishe. I kept it in a box for a long time, not daring to sell it. In the end, I had a cool boy.

    40. Charming Shiwoo. Reminds me of my Terry.

    41. @NadinCat Your Lishe boy looks great! I don't think I've ever seen a Lishe boy I didn't like.

My Inanna doesn't have super thick liner or anything but she's definitely got a somewhat glam makeup look going with her dark red lip, smokey eyeshadow, and manicured eyebrows.

    42. @NadinCat, your boy looks so comfy! Where did you find all of his stuff, he looks like he has a little home. I'm jealous! ;)

@malvinas, I have to admit, I love Inanna! She is simply gorgeous! I'm pretty sure I remember seeing her around DoA back in the day.

I was thinking, a Soony would make a simply wonderful Alita: Battle Angel! :3nodding:

Maybe I'll have my future Soony boy cosplay as a genderbent version of her. He would be a hit at cons!

    43. @Ryuichi Sakuma 13 Thank you! You may have seen her back in the day. She's been with me since 2006 and I used to post her regularly to the gallery here.

You're right I think Soony would look great as Alita: Battle Angel!

    44. Ugh, I am not getting notifications! @NadinCat I'm glad you brought him out into the daylight! He's adorable!!!

@malvinas , I love her glam look, in fact I really feel like getting all my dolls redone with deeper colors, LOL. But I won't , but I know in the future, I'll have some professionally done with more depth of color.

      I agree @Ryuichi Sakuma 13

    45. Manfred (in the pikachu kigurumi) needs a darker, more intensely Goth faceup. And a new wig, that one's pretty beat up. It came to me that way when I bought him secondhand, but hey, it was free.

Now, I'm on the lookout for Shuichi's wig. I found one that's close, but not quite good enough. Poor Ryuichi (in the middle) also needs a new wig. The one you see above I boiled just a bit too long when I was still somewhat new to the hobby, so its pretty trashed. :doh I found one that I think will work, but that means I'll have to order two, since Ryuma (on the right) is his identical twin brother. And "The Elf" (DES) has a mermaid wig which needs work. I let it sit for way too long, and it got full of dust, and the curl fell out of it. So now it's sitting on top of a bottle, twisted and clipped after being wet down a couple of days ago.

It seems that I've become a temporary doll hair stylist!

    46. {laugh!} Sounds like it.

I'm lucky with Alphie (Chiwoo) in that he stuck with two of the three wigs I got when he arrived (mostly the black one he arrived with, and occasionally the black one that shades out to red at the bottom, the ginger one has long since gone to one of his siblings), neither of which require more than the occasional comb through if they've been in storage for a while.

    47. Consider yourself lucky that Alphie has more normal-colored hair. Ryuichi and Ryuma both have a specific shade of mossy green hair that they're supposed to have. :sweat

I'm just happy that Manfred needs an easily found color, I see wine-colored hair all over. I think the wig I found for him might actually be long enough for a ponytail. I hope so, he would look pretty cool with one every now and then!

Oh man, I really do sound like a hair stylist.

    48. You could get a couple of those dye-it-yourself wigs and dye them the colour you want (I'd get three so you havre one to experiment with), or even white or white blond wigs and dye them with non-amonia hair dye like when cusomising vinyl dolls with rooted hair....

    49. This is a great thread. I absolutely love seeing everyone's Delfs, especially how different the same sculpts can look and that these sculpts are still so adored despite all the changes in aesthetics over the years.

My first BJD was a Delf Nanuri 07. He is Kusuriuri from the anime series Mononoke and I actually bought him with the intent to repaint him for one of my OCs, but I loved the faceup (done by luares/Sour Grapes) and character too much to do so lol. He'll be with me 12 years this December. c: and I'm terrible and haven't made his proper outfit in all this time I now have 10 Delfs, though not enough bodies so there's a lot of head swapping around here lol (and I haven't painted my Dreaming Lishe or Dark Elf Soo...), and they are still some of my favorites.

I feel you on the wig care. A while ago I washed all the wigs that had been worn for a while (which ended up being 23 wigs lmao) and totally did the 'drying on a bottle' thing. Bottles make pretty decent wig stands in a pinch XD
I think Kusuriuri kind of fits your heavy makeup request? Though, I do have more Delfs with heavier makeup that I am happy to share. c:

    50. Wow seeing all the lovelies makes me so happy! I love that we all have our doll stories! It's too precious~

    51. LOL, Feather being fluffy is so true, @SacredMonsoon

Wow, @LupusDarkmoon , he is soooo cool! I would love to see more!

BTW, for normal synthetic wigs like Monique, I find swishing in dish soap, rincing then letting them sit in fabric softener a min, rincing, then going outside to shake 'em out a bit, makes them like new :). Where I live, static electricity is my name! You always see flyaway hair in my photos. When I give a wig this treatment, it really helps :)

    52. Oh, I found a wig for Ryuichi and Ryuma, I just need for payday to come so I can order them. But I might try self-dyeing a wig for Shuichi, since I'm having such trouble finding one in his color. It doesn't seem to be as popular as it once was.:pout:

Yup, I remembered that trick from back in the day! I did just that for "The Elf's" wig on Monday. Here's his " wig on a bottle of Himalayan salt that seemed to be just the right size.

I'm debating on keeping it there for around a week, maybe wetting it down one more time before letting it completely air dry again. Good thing that bottle is not being used right now, but I might just keep it and fill it with marbles or something for whenever I need to do this again.

And yes, I'm still looking for ideas as to what to do with Manfred's Goth makeup. I know there's a Goth thread somewhere on DoA....:evilplot:

    53. @SacredMonsoon
Gotta say, Feather is probably one of the prettiest default Lishe I've seen. She looks so good in that wig. :'D

      @IngieBee
Ahhhh thank you! <3 I'm terrible and don't have a lot of more recent pictures of him (and all my old old ones are on photobucket, need to reupload them elsewhere). But here's his flickr album with the few that I do have! He's also in this group shot of my dolls (at least the ones with bodies >>; ) One day he'll look like this, though I'll probably do a more simplified version like in the anime (even though I do love the fancy patterns).

I'll also keep that wig tip in mind! Have several Monique and similar fiber wigs. I love them, but the flyaways can be insane lmao. I have some wig wax from Volks that comes in pretty handy, too, and it's easy to wash out which is nice.

      @Ryuichi Sakuma 13
lol at least the salt has found a purpose XD That wig is such a pretty color though. Looking forward to seeing it when you're done working on it!

I like goth/dark faceups, so I can definitely help you there! Maybe I'll just add one in with every reply XD
Here's Tatsuro to start with! He's an old El, from 2005, though he's only been with me since 2011. I wasn't sure what to do with him when I got him and ended up painting him (and naming) after the vocalist of the vkei band Mucc, specifically his look from the Fuzz PV (I want to make him the outfit, too).

And here's a pic without wig.

    54. Thanks so much @LupusDarkmoon! I love her default faceup a lot, it suits her so much! I love your El, he's awesome!

@IngieBee thanks, Feather loves being fluffy ♡

    55. Feather is a really pretty Lishe! I showed her to my partner, who now wants a Lishe as a sibling to their El.

I get it, @LupusDarkmoon. Most of my pics are also on photobucket. I need to find a way to download all of them as a group vs individually. Ugh, I really don't want to download them one pic at a time, but so far, it looks like that's what I might have to do.

Thank you @IngieBee and @LupusDarkmoon! It was love at first sight when I found that wig. Its a mermaid wig from For My Doll, but it seems that they don't really carry it any more. Or not a version that's as long as wavy as this one, anyways.

Kusuriuri is pretty cool, but I have to admit that Tatsuro is a bit closer to what I have in mind. And feel free to post as many pics of Goth/dark faceups as you have! I'm putting together a mental pic of what I want Manfred to eventually look like. I'm going to dress him and post a pic of him later today when I have some free time. :kitty2

    56. @IngieBee, I found a version of the mermaid wig, in case you were interested in getting one. It's so cool looking, I had to have it for my DES. :D

I finally dressed Manfred (Delf Shine) in more regular clothes and took a pic of him tonight. This is more or less how he usually looks. I added the goggles so his eyes and earrings could be seen. He's also not wearing his spiked bracelets.

His faceup, while nice, is rather plain for a Goth, but it was free. Its time he got a more appropriate one!

I think that maybe he also needs smaller eyes so that he looks older.

Okay, I'm going to say it. Show me your Shine Delf! :XD:

    57. Aw thank you @Ryuichi Sakuma 13! That made me happy :)
And Manfred is a cutie, i can't wait to see him in goth aesthetic!
