....is there a reason why people use human blush on these guys, instead of like chalk pastels? Just cheaper?

 

Well it's just fabric, so I don't think any oils in the makeup would damage it. And people are more likely to have blush already, than they are chalk pastels. Just my thoughts, no expertise.

I got them from the offline store just across from my office, and they are just too cute. If you are interested, I can take more pictures of the styles of the dolls. I like to share that with you guys!

Their clothing is made-to-buy with tons of styles, wigs, and accessories as well. I am not sure if they count for BJDs though, they are just much cheaper, around 20 USD/doll with dress-ups here.

Yeah I'd definitely wait until you find that one. Mine towers over my other plushies so I might be a little mad at him for being a diva if he wasn't as pretty as he is.

Cottondolls are such an interesting in-between of custom fanart doll / batch order dolls and there's a surprising diversity of styles, I really love them! I have like 20 now, it's pretty bad.
