Coral Reef Doll waiting room

I've only seen blanks sent out personally. I had talked to them a few days ago and they had said the full sets would ship in October at the latest. I had order one full set and one blank.

Also any one with photos of their gals, absolutely send me links, I am living vicariously through y'all

Just ordered my first Coral Reef dolll! I've been eyeing this company for a while now but was able to resist till now...

Ordered a Caroline head with faceup on a butterfly bust stand through Clover Singing.

 

I received my ONE last week! She's so delightfully weird.

 

Currently waiting for a Caroline and the butterfly standee, so excited!!!!

My One still hasn't shipped and New Clover doesn't know why... Hopefully it'll get resolved soon!

 

On their insta they had mentioned they moved recently. Maybe they're still getting everything organized?

New Clover said they'd check in with Coral Reef about my order so fingers crossed I'll find out something soon!

Has anyone had a full-set ship yet or heard any updates on full sets of One or the Rabbits?

 

I haven't heard anything yet, just that they should be shipping no later then October. But things happen it seems

 

Still nothing here either on the rabbits.

 

So like 3 days ago, I got a notification from DHL I was getting a package and then a day later they said they sent it. Just got them today! I have a full set of the red rabbit in blue and a blank of the white rabbit!

So full sets are at least starting to get sent out!

Can you tell me where it said it was coming from? I'm in a similar situation but haven't gotten an email about it. I have two other dolls coming from China too so I can't be sure what one.

I keep being tempted to message Divas and just ask but I can't afford import tax at the moment so nah xD I can wait.

 

I know they are so busy I don't want to bug them. But I am getting antsy since we got word fullest were out in October and we're now halfway in December. Not Divas fault, but I wish CoralReef would offer some sort of public communication.

 

Oh agreed. I saw some of the blank rabbits arrive in October and I feel like they haven't actually sent those out to Divas yet either. Maybe they're waiting to get everything finished and then send them out in one big batch. I do know Diva's was told that they were focussing on sending out the One's first before sending the rabbits, but seeing some people with their rabbits already makes me feel... I dunno. Somewhat jealous xD

 

I feel like they prioritized the orders that went directly through their website because of the pictures I saw, I think they said they ordered it directly through coral reef?

 

I finally got a shipping notice! Two fullset rabbits ordered April 14 through Alice Collection.

Ordered a Caroline with a custom faceup and an outfit they had back in July, so I'm hoping to get some sort of shipping notice within the next month or two. I ordered directly from them, so I'm keeping my fingies crossed

I've given up hope I'll be seeing my buns any time before March. At least them I'm setting a reasonable expectation and can't keep being disappointed? XD

 

I'm not so sure. There are people from dealers getting their orders shipping as of early December while others who ordered before them from other dealers have gotten not even a shipment notice. I imagine it's dealer specific like they are prioritizing specific dealers.

Edit on that note: if anyone with a BJDivas order gets notice, be sure to post it here for the other lost souls

Second edit: I contacted BJDivas apparently the buns shipped in September but they haven't gotten the parcel yet and there's no word on when they will. They were hoping 4 months but it's been that so I guess we just keep waiting lol.

 

I ordered a blank Caroline with extra hands (style 4 and 5) on November 5 from Alice Collections. It just shipped! Is it usually this fast? I was expecting February or March.

Though I got my Caroline head fairly fast when I ordered... Maybe Carolines are quicker..??
But still, a whole doll? Lucky!

 

@Yumeiro Maybe Caroline’s are quicker who knows. Nearly fell out of bed when I got the email yesterday morning! Although this means I have to get to cleaning my craft space, I thought I’d have more time oh well.

 

Thanks for asking them! I am quite tired of waiting so long and honestly losing interest in them.... I was told 4 months production time at most when I was planning to order them and didn't expect shipping from Coral to be so slow, so it's getting a lot longer than I am used to. (yeah yeah, resin dolls take a long time, I have never really joined a preorder before and I am a vinyl doll collector.). I hope my love for them will be back when I finally have my murder bun in my hands.

 

I mean, the fact they shipped in Sept means we were looking at a 4-5 month turn around. But waiting 4+ months additional for shipping transit time due to them using sea post was a bit of an unexpected loop to get thrown through. Hopefully none of the buns have any issues or we'll be waiting even longer XD

 

After roughly six months, my Caroline has arrived! She's so perfect and I love her cute, sad face. Her ears are also adorable. Everything about her fits my doll aesthetic :3

I got a Dollzone Yan Yan set that I tried on my Rabbit (same-ish body as Mei Mei)


It fits ok.
A bit big in the torso, and small in the hips, as expected. But I cannot help with any specific brands/sculpt that has clothes that will fit... So best to go by measurements where possible.

Over another month later and still without my rabbit from Coral Reef. RIP me and everyone else who used BJDivas Will we get it before the 1 year mark? Stay tuned.

(clarification: this is not on BJDivas end at all. The dolls were allegedly shipped to them like..4 months ago now I think? And they STILL don't have the parcel.)

 

5 months since they were supposedly shipped (Divas said September but ofcourse we don't know when Chinese Post actually did something with the parcels). Personally.... I have been thinking about selling my preorder more and more. This is indeed not on Divas but the wait is getting more and more frustrating and all ideas I had for the murderbun are gone. I fear the buns are never going to arrive at Divas and are either damaged, lost or the US customs are all in a corner playing with a bunch of scary buns. I really hope we get some good news soon but if it hits one year I will probably sell my preorder.

 

I’m very anxiously awaiting my Mie Mie. I got her in the old blue skintone with the sculpted lashes and I could not be more excited.

 

I get that. I'm still excited about the dolls but I'm increasingly worried they are lost for good and we don't get our dolls or money back. We have yet to see how CR handles a situation like lost dolls but especially on a bulk order like this. They're a small company so they don't really have the resources if something like this happens. I just have to hope we'll get them at all. I brought a friend back into the community because of these dolls just to have this happen (they also ordered via Divas). It's just a sucky situation all around. I hope we learn something new soon. I've posted this question a few times in the FB divas group but my last inquiry about this got deleted and I'm not sure why. Hopefully we'll have some answers soon so we can pool our knowledge here

 

I'll send Divas an email later today to ask about it. Hopefully there is news but they just haven't had time yet.

Edit: I GOT A SHIPPING FEE REQUEST!! WHOOOOOO. They finally arrived at Divas!

Sadly no. Divas just emailed me. Mine was missing entirely from the shipment. I could cry.



Unclear from this e-mail if it's just other rabbits missing along with mine or other Coral Reef pieces in general that are missing from other people's orders. But if you're expecting a shipping notification you haven't gotten, it may be worth keeping an eye on your e-mail in case you get the dreaded e-mail too. Good luck to all of us.

Update 2: coral reef is claiming they sent it but divas never got it... We'll see what happens next. I'm just scared CR won't take responsibility and won't make a replacement. I'm terrified.

 

Joining the waiting room for a Yu Feng head, who does not seem to have been particularly well announced anywhere. I stumbled across him purely by chance during his sales period while browsing dolls on legenddoll.net, fell in love, and proceeded immediately to TaoBao to buy him.
