Coral Reef Doll waiting room

I'm down to only one payment left for One! Very excited but I know I still have more waiting to do~

 

I ordered a blank One in January, and I have no idea what the wait times are, but I love how unique the sculpt is! I like my lil spider ladies (I also have a doll chateau Elizabeth) and One is so beautiful.

 

I ordered the One as a Human doll from CloverSingingbjd if anyone has ordered one let me know if you have an idea how long till they start shipping! I'm as always a very impatience person when I pay off dolls it's bad

 

I had a look through this thread and it sounds like 6 months is the average wait.

 

They stated on an instagram post from 18th January, the basic set ships within 4 months and fullset within 6 months

I told myself I would not get a rabbit. I'd hope for a second hand one, but I just couldn't resist!
So despite me and how I don't really like resin dolls, compared to vinyl... I am now eagerly awaiting two CoralReef dolls...

I’m going to try some wigs I have already for size, but I think something kind of strange/futuristic, like a custom made wig out of acrylic or nylon holographic strips would be really cool.

 

Welp, I paid my One off too, but I was told production could take 7 months Mine is blank!

I plan to make her a Juuzou Suzuya kind of wig. Not sure, if white or black. Perhaps with neon stripes?

 

7 months?! Mine is blank too I’m so sad to know it’ll take so long to meet One.

Eep, I didn't realize there was a coral reef waiting room! I ordered a blue "white rabbit" fullest with the artist after falling in love with a photo on IG. Normally I don't like girl dolls but she was so cute and irresistible with her little skull face and her little paws and with those tail sculpts. I also ordered a transparent skull and the white rabbit costume too since the outfits were really what made it so hard to decide which full set to get initially. If they ever open orders back up, I'd definitely buy a blank white rabbit to customize. They're both so unique and I'm excited since it'; the first doll I've gone I HAVE to have you.

 

@Vimes I think some dealers have limited fullsets available still. I know I have to restrain myself from ordering another...

 

@Yumeiro that's where I'm restraining myself XD has to be blank so I can paint my own spooky toofers

 

Oof, I've told myself only blank dolls if I'm getting more of the same >.> A lil cheaper and if I'm customizing it, it's how I justify buying the "same doll." But thanks for being the lil devil on my shoulder, haha

 

Does anyone know when people will start getting their Ling doll? I didn't order her but I would love to see more pictures of her since I missed out

Apparently they can't ship fullsets until July. A few weeks ago I was told, they would be shipped in May through IG, since they didn't reply to their mails. Now they wouldn't even reply over IG. Honestly I doubt I will ever get my Ling

Supposedly the delay happened because of the skirts, but I have seen owner pictures with exactly that white ballerina skirt... I have lost all excitement for my 3 "incoming" Coralreef dolls

So I emailed CloverSingingbjd my one human vs won't be shipped til August I'm sad but at least I have an idea now.

Joining waiting room! I ordered blank Caroline and body via AC, but seeing cute face-ups on their Instagram made me regret it a bit.

Does anyone else hate those first few weeks after placing an order when you are still excited but the wait feels excruciatingly long? It does settle later on up to a point when shipping notice feels like a genuine surprise

 

@silmaryel Oh yes... I don't want to admit that I may be checking my mail several times a day, for a week or two, after ordering. Despite knowing better.
But this look I am severely tempted by Caroline now too! They already got me with the rabbits this way...

I wasn't strong enough after all... I emailed coral reef and asked if they still sell the rabbits and ended up ordering the red rabbit (the one with the skull) The good news is I have to wait a shorter time since I didn't order during the original order time in april.

They were very nice through the email!

 

I could be wrong, but I assume it doesn't take half a year to cast a single doll, and the wait comes from creating multiple dolls. Basically I'm not getting mine any earlier than anyone else, but since I ordered later, I haven't been waiting for as long than the people who ordered during the original pre-order time. This being true only if they ship my doll with the other dolls that is.

Whoooaaaa she's gorgeous! I only learned about Coral Reef when they teased the rabbits so I completely missed ONE, but dang, that's stunning.

I preordered Red Rabbit, so I'll be keeping an eye on the waiting room a bit.

I have received my red rabbit on saturday despite the tracking not working...

I could open her today and she is really cute, I just don't know how to fix the faceplate, maybe only putty? magnets don't seem really practical, any idea?

 

Has anyone received their robotic arms, yet?
I‘ve ordered them in August 2022 and i still don‘t have them ;-;

What are you guys going to do to the tail though? I can't decide if I want to attach the magnets straight to the body or if I should attach them to clothing instead...
