Sentimentality Closing Thread - Thank you!

A sincere THANK YOU to the DoA staff for a wonderful month of super fun activities! It was great having a reason to slow down, sketch more and share in all the creative energy. Thanks to everyone who shared their talents too!

 

This was a great event and so much fun!
Thank you for all the work that went into the anniversary celebrations, and of course, for all the work done every day! ^_^

It was a really nice gesture that took more work on the part of the mods and the 'people behind the scenes' here at DOA. Thanks for all the fun contests and generous prizes given out.

It was a lot of fun. I know it was a tremendous amount of work, but it was so nice having something positive and fun to focus on for the month. August is kind of a tough month, especially this year in this economy. Maybe make this a yearly August event????? Maybe not a whole month of it.....but a week every August of fun?

 

This was a great event: the diversity and mix of special features was rich and inspired, and I am extraordinarily grateful to have had an opportunity to show my doll drawings. My only regret is that so much was going on in a relatively short period of time, I had to skip several contests I would very much like to have entered to focus on making a quality entry for one!

I truly hope the good times of the special events more than outweighed the extra work involved, and maybe we can expect a few special, fun offerings in the not-so-distant future, and not have to wait until the tenth anniversary for more.

A huge thank you to everyone who organised and participated in the varied DOA 5th birthday events. It would be great if this could be an annual event, on a smaller scale of course

I also have a gorgeous LE Abadon head and (soon to come) a Dollheart Homme Fer....YAH!!!!
