Everyone put so much into making this event a blast for all DoA members. Here's a big thanks to all the Mods and all the companies and wonderful people who contributed! It was such a fun month and it was so nice to have something to work for and look forward to during the month of August. (It's usually so dead and hot and blah. 8'D) The month of August was AWESOME.

I had SO much fun this month, and really got to stretch my creativity participating in contests. I particularly loved the Toadstool contest, but it's just been an amazing month overall! And the walk down memory lane was a great reminder of all the good that DoA has done for the hobby and for me personally.

In all honesty, I couldn't have asked for a better birthday month. Starting off my birthday with the DoA anniversary month? It totally made my birthday that much more amazing. I'm so grateful for everyone who helped to make it happen and thank you to everyone who graciously donated and created prizes for us forum members! I've enjoyed this even to the fullest! Thank you so much for all your hard work and time, Armeleia + all the mods! I give my love to you~

It amazes and humbles me that, at the end of the day, it's not just about the dolls -- it's about the people behind them, the friendships and the community. I'm a newbie to BJDs and DoA, and I'm so fortunate to have shared in this celebration!

Every thread was so much fun and I loved checking back every day to try to keep up with the tiny contests, etc. This was such a great opportunity to get involved, have some fun, and win some great prizes. This has been a great month of fun things! It's been a great distraction from the dreariness of the everyday, and THANK YOU for all the time and effort you mods all put into making it work so well!

 

Thank yous go to everybody....especially the DoA mods and coordinators.

This truly has been so much fun! I'm still trying to catch up on some of the events/threads/posts....LOL. I would check out all I could before going to work, again when I got back....and any other spare moments. Especially in love with the Luts DoA 5th Anniversary Abadon (who will be coming home as a forever reminder of this event since I adore armor/swords/angels themes)....and the teaser progress pictures of his creation which were simply wonderful to see.

So....thanks again to all the mods/participants/contributors/DoA members for making August 2009 an amazing dolly month!

Thank you to the moderators and everyone who took part (and a special thanks to marsh for the prize I won!), August really was tons of fun, and even the contests I didn't participate in were fun just to vote in or browse. This forum has so many creative and smart people, it makes me feel good to be a part of this hobby.

 

Even though I didn't have much time to participate in more of the contests, this was a great month, with something new every day, and everyone's delight and excitement in participating was wonderful to get to share. There was so much creativity evident, and all of you in charge should be applauded for taking on all the extra work needed to make this party a success!

The participation of so many companies, too, was quite impressive! Not just that so many items were donated or created, but those step-by-step development photos from Luts were utterly fascinating to get to see!

Congrats again, and thanks so much again!

As everyone's said so far - thank YOU, mods, for doing something beautiful and amazing here. I joined DoA only a scant few months before this celebration....but now I feel like I've really gone through one of the "big moments" of the dollery's history on DoA, right along side all the other members who have been here longer. It's a real community-building and love-building kind of thing. I'm grateful to have been able to play with everyone this way!

I admire the accomplished work .

This August was really the highlight of my year so far. I had SO much fun coming on and checking out the events. My thanks go out to all the members of this board, the staff, and the companies and individuals that helped with all of this.

I don't think it was over the top... it was a lot of fun that I think really brought out the creativity in a ton of people! For it being such a crappy year, thanks for providing such a great month

Thank you so much to everyone who's hard work made this month such a blast ^.^ My DoA shirt, and the book that I won in the guessing game have arrived here (the book is sooo beautiful ) and I've got even more goodies on the way (ordered the Steampunk outfit set, and I plan on getting the Limited Blue Knight *gush*).

This month was a really fun, and it came during a time that has been really difficult for me and my family, so having new fun things to look forward to each day, and participating in all of the creative contests was such a joy. The competition out there was stiff, so next time some contests come around I'm gonna have to try twice as hard X3 It was fun to be able to see everyone's creations, and to read everyone's answers in the chats.

Den of Angels is such a friendly, fun forum and I hope to still be giving thanks and well wishes for many many years to come.
