OMG! Look how cute Cocoa Chibi is even without a face up! *dies* Is your other girl normal skin or fairy skin?

 

Cari (not the cocoa) is such an odd color. It's like all the pink in her resin just...faded. She's pretty white. But she is supposed to be ns. But all of her parts are the same color. I didn't notice there was anything odd going on until I got her brand new elf ears I ordered with the cocoa Chibi.

 

I'm starting to think these evil little buggers are infectious. Soon after owning my cocoa roron, Momo, I realize now I want a faery skin Lilin to go with her. I wish Noppin would do a pre-order for them.

 

I was working on my Lilin's default face and my msc messed up >< So i decided to do her cool face~

oh and ill try and take pictures of the ears xD They are more of a blue than green though i think.

DollInk - Ange is adorable, I love that wig! I just ordered a wig from Leeke in the soft Whisper Blue color. Pale blue looks fabulous on Unoas.

Finally after weeks of waiting, Noppin sent me a shipping notice for my four Chibi faceplates! My girl will finally have all 10 available faceplates! Something about Unoas, they are just too fun to spoil.

 

...I'm contemplating completely wiping my Mischief, and sending her off to a friend of mine for a total makeover... The downside is that Mischief has four faceplates, and that would be almost prohibitively expensive.

Any suggestions as to how I might make myself happier with her look?

 

Well what's bugging you about it? :3 Cause I know you can easily add to a face-up with a soft hand and sealant.

 

I tried finding a link to it, but can 1.5 hands be put on the Chibi body? I love the grace of the 1.5 hands. :F

 

Yeah..this. I do it all the time.

 

*laugh* I'd love to try my hand at it, but... I'm not allowed anywhere near sealant for the next foreseeable future. It's no good for the baby!

Maybe I'll just try a different wig on her? That might do it for me--the one she's wearing has some major bangs that hide a good portion of her face.

 

Wigs do wonders.... i think thats why i have like 20 of them >< lol...
Eyes change alot too i think.. Do you have a photo of your girl? I tried looking all over xD

 

I actually haven't posted any shots of her, which is silly. If it weren't the day it is, I'd squeeze in some time and do a little shoot for her (she and her cohort, my Unoa Sist named Mayhem)... but perhaps I'll give it a try tomorrow.

I also might consider putting eyelashes in her, since that's a project I've been putting off FOREVER.

 

I would love to see a photoshoot with the two! Unoas are stealing my heart fairly quickly and I keep having to look them up. So yes, photos! >_>

 

I have a chibi too since a few weeks and love her but it's so difficult to find outfit that fit's well!
Chibi unoa are so easy to stand that I allways take her with me.

Mine is from 2009, and her skin color is very very white, so strange.

My chibi has gone pretty white, too.

 

It's so unnusual for dolls who are getting older. I hope that she won't turn into a more yellowed color Alchemic labo do such crazy things with ther resin ans it's quite difficult to know what it will be with their dolls! I love their creations as a matter of fact.

I also thought the color loss was interesting.
I have 3 facplates. Roron default and pout. And the Lilin roar face. And they are fairly consistent (the roar is a little pinker). And several pair of hands. I will have to assume they all came from the same resin batch.

You can see how white she appears next to the cocoa roron.

 

I think it might work; I'll give it a try and post a photo in a day or so.

My Ynja wears 1.5 hands now, although it seems I don't have too many pictures that show it.
I will try and snap a picture when I get home.

I put these hands on her just to test out and I haven't been able to change them, they fit perfect and just work!

The Unoa hands do work well on them, but I think Iprefer the actual Chibi hands (especially the "Paper" ones, which are just too uber-cutesy for words)

So how often do they hold Japan only events for the chibis? I'm wondering if there is a pattern that I could see so I knew when to stalk Y!A more! lol

 

I just keep checking every few days for anything new to pop up xD

Im really excited though i ordered some HDS clothes and they fit my chibi perfectly.
I asked for mnf sized, shorter length pants and they are amazing...
and the unoa sized tank tops are perfect.

 

I need to order some more clothes for my chibi but currently she's on a back burner, just sitting there and looking cute while I play with my faeries. XD Though I'd love to see pics of your chibi in her HDS stuff! :3 (Might give me the motivation to hop upon the next ordering period. lol)

And Cari has company from now on. I did the original purchase from Noppin for my friend because she had to be at work (and I have a really fast internet connection). Then she sold her to our other friend. And I just acquired her from that friend. I think she was just supposed to live with me, instead of all that confusing moving about.

Does the Roron default faceplate come with the mouth piece? Because on Noppin site they say nothing about it, while on other faceplates they say how many mouth pieces are included. Thanks :-)

 

christinopia Roron default comes with three different mouth pieces: complete smile, missing a tooth, and fanged.

He's not wearing the default faceplate, but here's my Roron with even more alpacas!

Hi Cylphiel, thanks so much for your reply. That's what I thought, but on Noppin they don't say this, so I had a doubt. I want to order the default faceplate but I don't want to have a hole in the mouth if they don't give me the tooth pieces

Yeah thats weird nopping doesnt actually list it on that faceplate page, like they do with the others.
I would send them a message, asking. Just to be sure that its just a typo.

I put 12 gauge wire in my girls legs. Oh my, they can hold a pose so well now~
but that gauge is too big to fit through her arms

 

I already wrote them three times, but I still get no reply...

 

I use doubled over tan colored pipe cleaners in Pele's arms. And off white ones for Cari

So sad that we don't know when the next ordering period is! These little ones have recently stolen my heart. :O I really hope to be able to get one in the near future if I can find one on the MP or if Noppin has an ordering period!

I have a question about eye size. I have 12mm in one of my girls and 14mm in another one. The 14mm is definately too big for my taste, but with the right angle some seem to work. I have mixed feelings about the 12mm too. Sometimes they seem to fill too much of the eye-well, so I was wondering how 10mm would look. Does anyone use 10mm eyes in their Chibi? Could I see one of your pics how they look? Thanks!

Thanks Captainkyo! I never even thought of using 8mm, but they look great! I also love your girl's outfit. Would you mind if I asked where you got it from? This type of layered look is perfect for Lilin! It really tones down her boobies.

Brennil has the best casual clothes ever i think.

But these mio pants i just got fit pretty well too~ I rolled up the bottoms and they look pretty cute xD

I also painted my Eir's default smiley face~ Although now i want to get her new eyes lol
