It looks like there is gonna be a new Chibi Unoa lottery. The new special edition in Fairy Skin (pinky white) is called "Bear Bear".

Ohhhh my gosh!!!! I must admit I would love to "upgrade" my girl to white skin but I would have to buy 2 dolls to fullfill that dream so I will just have to be happy with what I have. They look so adorable in white skin though.

Oh, I just adore the wigs on the Bear Bear girls... but I'm more than happy with mine, and don't feel the need to "update" her. Outside of trying to get my hands on one of the wigs. XD

I had the same thought! Love those wigs. I use one very similar on my Roron Bunsuko face but would adore one in blonde.

About the difference between "normal skin" and "fresh skin": Almost does not change hue. (Sense of transparency has increased slightly)

Just wanted to share a picture of my girl since I haven't had the time for the last year to play and do the things I wanted to do.
Everything she is wearing has also been made by me, not the best but working on refining the patterns

And in case you were wondering, this was taken only 10minutes ago at 23:20. We really do have midnight sun here.

 

I picked up some AWESOME shoes at a doll meet this weekend, and they fit my Lilin so well that it's amazing. The gal who sold them to me said she got them off of ebay (I'll ask her for the seller), but that they'd been marked as YoSD sized....

 

Most of my Ynja's shoes are YoSD sized. The problem is its such a hit and a miss if they fit or not. I have quite a couple of pairs that also really don't fit. Neither of my dollheart YoSD shoes fit.
Which is why I don't buy shoes for her unless I can see the inside measurement. 4,5cm is her foot, so anything bigger will fit.

Nahhh its an original, it was just so bright still that my camera over exposed the picture, but I kinda liked it that way.
I really should read the manual for the camera at some point, I think I pressed something at some point because all my pictures recently have been coming out over exposed. That is ofcourse if you were reffering to my picture.

 

Hi, I really like Chibi Unoa and I would love to get a face plate, but I'm finding it a little hard to understand how to get one from AL's webpage. I'm really interested in the "pout" face but I'm open to any ^^. Can anyone direct me to the right place or give me any info?

Lovely girls. I had heard about them before, but after seeing owner pictures online, I might just have to start saving for one! Too cute.

 

These Chibi Unoa threads made me want to get my hands on a Roron and after a long search I finally won one on a yahoo!Japan auction. I was really lucky. I can't wait to have her in my home. As for the matter of dressing her...I did look at the "what fits" thread, I know it's kind of a gamble to see what fits these guys especially shoe wise. I really like the clothes at TTYAdoll and I want to know if anyone has had any experience dressing their chibis with their stuff.

I also tried the denim shorts for YoSD and they are too small (they got stuck in her thighs XD).

 

I guess the short pants for MSD would fit. How about momoko sized clothes? I'm thinking too small but I'd like to make sure.

 

My Unoa Light wears Momoko clothes from TTYA and they are too small for a Chibi.

From my experience if you don't mind turning up the bottoms then MNF sized pants from Brennil fit great. You can even ask brennil to shorten the length of the pants to match the chibi. In general I find that torso and waist size they seem to be similare to a large busted MNF, although ofcourse a little shorter, and I am referring to the larger busted Lilin body.

Been trying my hand at making some very basic pants for my girl so far so good

Lady White Raven, is your girl wearing a Raouken corset? If it's the case, is it a Unoa size?

 

DollInk: Yes that is a Raouken Corset, it is MNF size as well, its a little long but other then that it fits like a glove. The larger Unoa's hips are way to wide so I think that might end up being a little bit big on their hips.

It's all handmade by me except the purple jacket and fur ears that were a gift from my friend Keera and the dot stockings, shoes and spectacles that were bought in various shops

I love the skincolour, it just wouldn't fit my girls character at all and I don't really have plans to have two of these. I would love to see what customizers on this forum would turn them into though. Such a pretty colour!

It has gotten to the point where I'm seeeeeeeeriously considering getting a chibi unoa!
I have 3 full girls at home (1 Sist, 1 Lusis and 1 Ange) and am DROWNING in face plates (2 Sist, 1 Lusis and the other Ange) so I probably SHOULD stop... but Unoa are like CANDY. And while the face plate thing seems like a good idea at the time, what ends up happening is that you have a bunch of characters who all need bodies!!!
Worse is that one of my Sist faceplates is fairy skin (which I much prefer) yet I don't have a fairy body, and getting hold of one can end up pretty expensive!

But anyway!
I'm so close to sucking it up and getting a chibi, because I LOVE THEM.
What has always stopped me is their strange size. I'm very picky when it comes to dressing my dolls and have spent some silly amounts of money on the right outfits for some of my girls, but I can't find ANYTHING chibi sized.
And I live in Japan! I shouldn't have this problem, but all the talented designers I know only do the 1.5 size.

Does anyone know of any great places to get non-casual sexy or hime (princess) sort of clothes made specifically for this size? It'll be the Funwari body I'm getting!
I'm going through the What Fits Chibi Unoa thread right now but so far nothing is in my style at all and I'm feeling despondent!

midnitestar7: I personally find that if your looking for clothing for the big busted chibi unoa I recommend buying in the big busted MNF size. The bust fits perfect although the MNF is a bit longer then the chibi so just keep that in mind. Flonne makes Chibi clothes so far but I think she is one of the few big seamstresses that does.
Here for example is a picture of my Ynja in a Ryouken corset (mnf underbust size) and a brennil MNF sized dress.

This one consists of a Brennil underbust corset, some MNF Fer armwarmer things + a random tyler sized onezie under (dunno what its called).

Its just a matter of mix and match really, if you have a lot of unoa clothes you will find that quite a bit of them fit but are a little loose. MNF pants fit perfect but are a little long.

 

Oh that little outfit is so CUTE! I love the corsets and will definitely be off to search the internet after typing this!

Comparing the 1.5, Ane and Chibi sizes, I did realize that a lot of my existing clothes may fit fine!
The skirts are going to be too long, but I wasn't planning on putting her in a long skirt anyway, and I never dress my dolls in pants - it may be because most of my dolls are blushed so I don't want fabric on them, or it may be because I'm regularly too lazy for tights and so let me girls wear the short skirts xD
My Ane actually wears 1.5 size clothes (as in the above photo) and while they like to fall off her chest and are too big around her waist, depending on the outfit it can work!
I'm glad now I want the Funwari body as it seems like this is going to be much easier to work with!

So basically you'e saying, suck it up and get the doll THEN worry about clothes as it's a bit of a mix and match issue to find what works.

 

Thought I'd pop back in to let everyone know that I sucked it up, and now have a Pink Kumako Lilin coming home!
I just couldn't resist finally getting my hands on some fairy skin AND finally having a default faceup - even if it is on the FACE OF CRAZY (as I call it xD).

I actually have a STUNNING fairy skin Sist face plate with no body at the moment so, that's most likely going on the chibi body for the time being, and the face plate of insanity will be reserved for looking at when I need cheering up.
Eventually I hope for a 1.5 fairy body for Sist and then will get one of the other 3 face plates that comes with my chibi done up!

I promise pictures will happen!!

I'm really excited because I just bought a used Chibi Unoa Lilin hybrid. I've always wanted her because she looks just like me. Is that vain?
I can't wait to make for her a satin-lined box for her faceplates. I also can't wait to join you guys in picture sharing!

It depends on customs, I try not to get impatient.
My face is always super expressive and changing a lot, which is why I think I look like Lilin.

My girl arrived today and she's just....perfect. Despite having some...er...noticable seams and her arms are a bit kicky/floppy but a good restringing should fix that. (Even though I've never restrung any doll, let alone a Unoa >> She came with all her faceplates too. Apparently she was a Grade B kit but I don't really see any flaws...except her default faceplate. She has some weird shiny spot on her left brow and one ear is bigger than the other LOL. Doesn't bother me though, it isn't THAT noticable. And she'll be wearing a wig that'll cover that

 

Her flaws sound like darling wabisabi to me! I'd love to see your new girl, HerrLucifel.
