Anyone think there will be a restock in 2013?

 

I asked Noppin about it. They said they had no news of a new order period at this time

 

Maybe I won't be able to get one of these girls after all... I mean, not like I have the money anyway...

I finally finished Emmy (on the right), my Lilin Cool hybrid on a Narsha body. The headback was made by Amaeta. She's my Unoa Sist MNF hybrid Carly's younger sister :-D

No, at least the eyes won't. I have this love of urethane eyes, and this pair is glass. But I haven't decided on eye color yet.
The wig, however, is a winner.

Could Any Of You Help Me Out Wth Something? I Would Like To See If Possible A Unoa Chibi Head On A Luts Kis Delf & A Doll Chateau 1/4 Boy Body. Please & Thank You. I Am Thinking Of Making My Unoa Chibi Roar Head Into A Boy & Want To KnowWhat Body Fits The Head Best.

 

I have a Kid Delf boy body but can't put the Chibi head on it as the neck-connection isn't the same for Chibi's as for most BJD. If you got a Chibi head-back made with a regular neck socket you could do it, but the Chibi head looks teeny-tiny compared to the head I have on the Kid Delf body.

I'm actually kind of relieved that the quickie release in Noppin's going to be the Cocoa skin... I love seeing it, but I don't think it's a resin tone that would work for me. ^_^

Ah. Well, I can't help, I'm afrad as both my Chibi girls have the regular headback so won't fit on another body.

Even with a custom made headback, Unoa Chibis don't look good on just any MSD body! You do realize they're shorter than MSD? I have my girl on a Dollmore Narsha body which is about 35cm tall.

As for kid delf, personally I don't like it, the neck is too long too and would need to be modded imo.

If you wnat a slightly bigger body for a chibi boy, they would work, size wise on the Cusom House Littl Junior Ai boy body (the girl body is the same size as the Chibi's the boy body is a little bit bigger:

The Minoruwold Junior body is about Chibi sized, and the Little Junior Boy is a bit bigger as you can see.

I wanted one but currently I can't afford to spend 1000€ (with customs) on a doll. If Noppin would underdeclare their items... but they won't do it

I know they're expensive but even with customs fees they shouldn't be THAT expensive... 66000 Yen is approximately 575 euros (according to valuta.nl). 21% of taxes is about €121. Here in the Netherlands we also pay around €20 which is a standard customs fee, so that makes €761. I know it may be different in Spain but the difference shouldn't be €250 right?!

Sadly in Spain they charge us for everything. Now we have the customs only in Madrid so people that live in other cities have to hire a service to deal with all the documents. Also they charge for the stay in the warehouse (plus the 21% VAT of that) and other taxes (DUA, etc. and their VAT). In the end we have to pay 40% or so of the price

(I bought a couple of dresses from Japan this summer. I paid for them 310€ and customs charged me 140€. Never again).

Wow. Doesn't sound very appealing to buy an expensive doll if you're living in Spain. And I thought the Netherlands were bad

 

The problem is the centralization of the customs, before that I could deal with all the documents myself (I had a customs office in my city) and I just paid the 21% of taxes.

 

I was able to get a Lilin, they are so pretty. *-* I hope the skin color look as good in person as it looks on the monitor. Can't wait to take pictures of her and my doll family.

It's kinda funny. My friend traded me her Roron because she just wasn't happy with her. She wanted her in tan. Two weeks later...this.

Question I know it is possible to hybrid unoa on a mnf but is it possible to hybrid a chibi unoa on a minifee? Or can you put a chibi unoa head on a unoa body?

 

You'd need a headback for the chibi faceplate that has an ordinary neck socket on it.

I was sitting there hitting refresh on the page when it went up, so I could've easily gotten one of the cocoa girls... but I looked at them and didn't like them nearly as well as I thought I would. I guess it's a good thing, because they were pricey. @_@ I did not need to impulse-buy a $750 tiny.

I didn't think the Chibi Cocoa was overpriced. In fact, if you add up everything you get in the kit individually, it's worth the price.

Evelien, I really like your chibi head on the minifee body, the body looks great. Is there a really big difference in the skin color though? And if there is, can it be easily covered with blushing? I might consider doing an hybrid since I have a loose Roron faceplate, just need to find an headback.

 

No one has worn this jacket in a while. And it fits Cari pretty well.

 

Yeah, there's a big difference because I photographed the head on a white skin body ;-). If you hybridyze a Unoa head on a NS Minifee body, the head should need little to no blushing from my experience, if I recall correctly.

Kyarolin: I have put my chibi on a NS littlefee body before. The match is not perfect but it is close enought. My littlefee is not new and has yellowed a little bit but not too much.

I'm really tempted now to get and headback and littlefee body for my pout faceplate, I was waiting to see if noppin would have another release of the normal skin chibis, but I might not wait and get the littlefee body instead. Is the chibi unoa headback compatible with other bodies or is there other alternatives? I apologize for my many questions. ^^'

The actual Chibi headback is only compatible with the Chibi body, as far as I can see. You'd have to get one of the Buff or Kay Wiggs headbacks to put them on a different body.

 

Or the Amaeta headback

 

I haven't heard of that one. Only the other two. But I've never really looked into them before now.
