Chibi Unoa discussion part 3

I'm dying to see them completely ;___; I have an OC that I've wanted to shell as an unoa but I never imagined purple would ever be available.

 

Same same jirachi, i'd love to see the purple and blue to see if they're like a light pastel or darker like avatar blue and such~

 

You can find them on the Unoa alchemy Instagram and Facebook group, they are not crazy saturated but not very pastel, either. I think the purple looks similar to Pipos' Cranberry from the one picture that's available (pleeease correct me if im wrong lmao)

 

omg thank you for telling me. and yeees I love it. It's a perfect in-between from the usual pastel colors and deep colors. I really like the in-between ;u;

 

I'm so excited, my paradise Roron arrived today!
I absolutely love her but I'm gonna have to scramble to find clothes for her because mostly all I have is standard MSD and it's... a little baggy on her.

AHHH the new Chibi Unoa in purple and blue are so freaking cute! I definitely think I'm going to have to enter for a blue Roron with a few faceplates (I definitely need the Lilin Roar). Probably going to have to use the credit card for this one but a Chibi Unoa Roron with a few extra faceplates in Fairy Skin has been a grail of mine for a while... but BLUE. Oh my gosh BLUE.

 

Yes, the new chibis have a mini gallery of images floating around their official sites and omg I am in love with both colors completely now. The chibis always seemed so impish to me and now there's these cute little mystical skin tones that reflect that

I had heard that but I wasn't sure if they would be a little too big, thank you for confirming they fit! Maybe now I can get some of the MNF clothes I love on etsy that none of my "chubby" MSDs will fit into...

 

@KittyFields haha! I so hear you on the BLUE! I had to put in my request to join the lottery for a Roron in blue, standard face. I'd love that Lilin Roar plate too, but there's no mixing the sculpts and faceplates. But, there was something about possibly getting to go for any leftover faceplates after the lottery, and then it won't be a problem of mixing sculpts. ^_^

 

awh, yeah hopefully one day they'll allow for that. I really love the roron sculpt but want some of the lilin faceplates so dillemma city for me. Do I want the face or the body more hmm...

 

Body. Easier and cheaper to get just faceplates later on.

 

I can't believe I haven't shared my little Violet here!
I'm still experimenting with wigs and eyes, but I'm so smitten with her. She's my second lilin (my other is a minifee hybrid) so I'm thinking if I get another chibi it should really be a roron at this point

Anyone else get a winning email for the Halloween chibis? I did! I asked for a blue Roron with the extra faceplates. I was humming and hawing a bit between the two colors, but in the end the blue Roron kept catching my eye. I think I'm also more interested in trying a faceup on the blue resin.

 

I did! I also asked for a blue Roron with as many extra faceplates as I can get (I want one of each faceplate if I can!) Haven't heard back yet; hope they still have Roron left in blue!

 

@KittyFields I haven't heard back either. I'm guessing they may be waiting to hear from everyone, and then they'll either send out invoices to those who asked for a certain combo first and follow-up emails to those who got in a little too late for their preferred combo. I duffed up my order a bit - I asked to add the Roron extra faceplates, then realized the faceplate I actually wanted was part of the Lilin set (though, I personally think it suits Roron more)! So, in total, I've sent them, like, three consecutive emails with order clarifications/changes. Haha, I was just so concerned about securing the Chibi in the color I wanted that I didn't take the extra time to make sure I was asking for what I actually wanted.

 

Oh, is it the Roar faceplate? Because if so I totally agree; it suits Roron more and I too thought it was part of the Roron set ^_^;

Hahaha! Add me to the list of folks requesting a blue Roron! Not enough $$ to get any extra faceplates, though yes, I would love to get the roar faceplate (that totally does suit Roron so well). Too bad they don't consider it a plate for both sculpts.

 

@aernath I hope we all can get a blue Roron~ It's always so much fun seeing what different folks do with the same sculpt and resin combo. I want to make mine a toothy little Elf boy (which is why I'm pining for the Roar plate!).

I'm hoping since their email said we could purchase both faceplate sets that means we can purchase either Lilin or Roron set regardless of what base doll we chose. I don't mind dealing with the extra Lilin faceplates if it means I can get that adorable Roar plate that really sealed the Chibi Unoa a spot on my wishlist!

 

The way I understand it, if you buy Roron, you can add the Roron extra plates, or both Roron and Lilith plates, but not just the Lilith plates.
Too much expense for me, when all I want is the Roar one. And yes, totally toothy boy! (I don't really collect girls.) The regular Roron I have is a boy. ^_^

 

Hmmm, I interpreted the "cannot mix and match" language as meaning you can't ask for two of the Roron extra faceplates and two of the Lilin extra faceplates. That you had to purchase all four of a specific set. Well, hopefully I will find out tomorrow!

 

I'm in the same boat! I got a winning lottery email and asked for a blue Roron and a "roar" face. I kinda want to make her a Midna from LoZ Twilight Princess. If that doesn't work out though, I've got second, third, and fourth choices from all the color and face combos.

 

I hope they don't have to run a secondary lottery for all the blue Roron requests!

 

Out of curiosity, how often does Unoalchemy run orders for fresh or normal skin chibis?

edit: I was told October and January are the next ordering periods, but not November and December. Just an FYI for anyone passing through.

Looks like the holdup on the Halloween Chibis is on AL's end! I did send a follow-up inquiry to Unoalchemy regarding ordering the Lilin plates with the Roron since I haven't heard back from them. Wonder if it got lost in all the other requests?

 

I received my invoice today and an answer to my faceplate set question! Apparently they had sent a response to my original inquiry, but it appears to have gotten lost in the ether - not in my original email chain with them or my spam folder. Maybe they accidentally replied to the wrong person (fairly easy to do when you have a lot of people replying to the same email) or someone else had the same question? Either way, I will be getting my Roron doll and the Lilin faceplates! I assume I'm getting my choice of blue, too, since I wasn't asked what my second pick would be. Anyone else receive their invoice?

 

I got my invoice too but instead of charging me for a Roron blue, Roron faceplate set in blue, Lilin faceplate set in blue, and Lilin default plate (not included in the Lilin faceplate set) they missed the Lilin Faceplate set entirely and only charged me for Lilin Default. I'm not sure if they're sold out of the Lilin faceplate set or if they just misunderstood what I wanted? Either way I sent them a frantic email asking them to bill me for it if it's not sold out or, at the very least, if I could have the Lilin Roar faceplate added.

Not going to pay my invoice till I hear back from them. Wish me luck guys. T_T Maybe I could find a Lilin Roar plate in Fairy Skin and dye it blue if it's sold out?

 

@KittyFields oh dear, I hope things work out! In their reply to me, they did say things had been quite hectic, so hopefully it was just an oversight.

 

I also went with a blue Roron! With the proper faceplate though. Those lips just get me. And I got my invoice today as well

Sooo, I was thinking lately about what I want to do with my boy. I like the idea of him being a little pill - the kind that gets into places and things he's not supposed to. I imagined he'd always look a bit disheveled the way a rowdy child would and would tromp around in overalls with one strap always off. I want to take advantage of his crazy resin color, so I was thinking of using crazy bright colors for scuff marks and mud smears all over him. Like he fell into a fingerpainting.xD Also, because the Roar plate wasn't already adorable enough, I'm probably going to mod his eyes open a bit like below (base photo not mine, I just snagged it off Google to do a quick PS):

 

I just got an email from them today saying they had missed the Lilin plates in my order somehow (somehow they didn't make it onto the list they had of my order) and they were reasoanbly sure they still had the set in stock and would get in touch with Alchemic Labo to reinvoice me. Yay!

Hi guys! I'm new to this thread and a bit of a DoA lurker in general, but I just wanted to say congrats to everyone who snagged a halloween Unoa! I'm getting a Roron in the purple with the default and proper faceplates!

 

Looks like the rest of us are getting blue, so I hope you share lots of pictures with us! I would love to see owner pics of the purple!

I messaged UnoAlchemy a few days back about a fresh skin Roron, so fingers crossed I can snag one of those.

 

Anyone get any word from Unoalchemy about their Halloween chibi? From their Insta post it sounded like they were getting them packed up, but maybe they just meant they were squaring everything away with AL (who I believe is the where they will ship from)?

 

I am trying to order a fresh skin chibi faceplate from UnoAlchemy, but haven't heard anything since the 7th. I'm just guessing they're busy with orders like you were saying, but I don't know.

My tracking # doesn't work - I think they must have mistyped it when they sent it to me.>.< I'm just making sure to check my mailbox everyday.

 

My blue chibi shipped and has reached my state, ny, today woohoo! Hopefully she will arrive tomorrow too.

@Kimchi what tracking service are you using? I use 17track to track any packages from Asia.

 

@zombiemon I've tried several reputable tracking sites, and all say the number is invalid, etc. At this point, not really worth following up with Unoalchemy to send the correct # since the package will likely arrive before they get it to me. If I don't have the package this week, though, I'll shoot them an email.

 

Mine still hasn't left Japan from the tracking, so probably later this week for me...

Looks like the issue with my tracking # was that the package wasn't actually dropped off at the PO yet. I guess Unoalchemy generated all the tracking #'s and put them into Paypal, but posted the packages in batches. So, mine has just gotten into the air, which means I won't see him until late this week/early next week.>.<

 

Awwww, poo, @Kimchi Sorry to hear that! But at least you were able to find out what was happening.

In the meantime, here's my little cold, blue fella.
I was surprised, I thought "kit" meant I would have to string him together, but he came assembled with eyes in and wig on! Cool!
Came with an extra pair of glass eyes, but they don't fit all that well. They look like little spaceships from the side. lol HIGH dome!
And the teeth parts came in both blue and natural/normal resin! Nice surprise!
Anyway, here's my nameless guy. Hopefully he'll get some clothes and at least warm up soon!

@Kimchi that sucks! I hope it errors on the side of sooner rather than later for you.

The violet is such a strange colour! It looks almost identical to the blue in person (I wasn't certain I'd gotten the right colour at first), but photographs as the purple colour. It's definitely going to be an interesting face-up challenge.
I haven't decided what to call them yet, but I'm leaning towards Char (or Charm) which definitely has no connection to a certain first gen pokemon that I tend to mispronounce a colour changing reptile as
