How similar are Charm Doll's face ups to the ones shown on their promo pics?

I'm tempted to get their Remy and/or Rena just for their face up (and costume)!

 

Yes, Remy is really cute! I wish he had Rena's mouth though Like someone mentioned, he does look a bit serious!
Haha, I feel you, I'm actually lacking funds right now as well but I have so many dolls I want to purchase I'm selling off my anime figurines and manga collection to gather funds for BJDs...

@AnOldSalty Has your Joyce arrived yet? Could you tell me a little about what she's like, posing wise?

I'm thinking of ordering one of Charmdoll's msd girls, but I've barely seen any owner pictures or reviews... I don't even know what their resin is like! How isn't this company more popular?? Their sculpts are so cute

 

Yup, I actually just went on weibo and saw some pictures of their 1/3 dolls at a doll convention and the make up looks pretty spot on

 

No she unfortunately still hasn’t arrived, but I will definitely update here when she does!
They expect my order to be ready by late November :/

Finding cute boy outfits is so difficult though, I'm reminded why my boy doll wears dresses a lot. xD

 

My Renard arrived! I'm honestly overjoyed that he fits (BARELY) the volks omukae outfit I bought him. He looks gorgeous!

I nearly cried when I saw his ears, I love them. Absolutely wonderful and perfect for the character. I'll take a picture of my sweet couple (maybe when I do his faceup?) and post it here

Hey everyone! I've started planning a Remy-- he's a perfect alternative shell for one of my characters-- but ideally I'd like a shorter body for him. Does anyone know if there are any good matches for CharmDoll resin? I couldn't find a resin match thread, I apologize if I just missed it.

 

I would assume Loong Soul and anyone that matches their resin since Loong Soul is the parent company right

Also side not I got news my Joyce will be ready in a week!!! I’m so excited!

 

I can't wait to see more owner pictures, this thread has been really quiet lately. I got new eyes and a cute hat for my Renard, but neither fit him, so I'm saving them for other dolls. xDD

I'm extremely interested in a Renard myself and wanted to ask if any of you can compare his size to other MSDS? To give you an idea I own msd sizes like unoas and fairyland's. Is he much larger in size in comparison?

I don't have any good comparison photos, but Renard is slightly taller and with thicker hips and torso than average MSDs. MNF and Unoa clothes absolutely will not fit, I can say that from experience. xD Here he's next to my DZ boy Forest Boys

And here are the measurements for Renard:

I’m actually planning to make most of my girls into cyborgs ^^ it’ll be a lot of time and work but I already have the story and everything planned and I think it would be super cool to act out in photo stories so I think it’s worth it

 

Charmdoll finally shipped our tan skin Renard on Christmas Eve! It’s been about 70 days since the first layaway payment. So excited to share him with you guys!!

Oh wow very very late but I have a Joyce and with some restringing (she came super tightly strung) she poses very well! Her feet sometimes move at the ankles so she’s tricky to stand but other than that everything snaps into place to hold poses and it’s overall a really nice body.

 

Shame they don't sell heads, was really hoping to get one

does anyone else find that charm doll 45 cm bodies look kinda similar to dollzone's?

 

I do love the wide bodies charm doll has. very different from a lot of slim msds~
Does anyone happen to know what the head circumference and eye size the charm doll remi or rhea have?

i ordered a renard with tan skin from alice's collections about a month ago! loved those ears and that face too much to resist, and i think he'll suit one of my ocs pretty well! i got him with a face up too so i'm excited to see how it will look on tan, since i haven't seen many owner pics of that. i'll be sure to post once he arrives
