Charles Creature Cabinet Firefly Faerie discussion part 2

[Two dragons bowerbird ... oh you got suckered good and proper !]....ahhhhh YEP!!!
Although apparently there is only one dragon the other creature has been left up to the creator to create!

I never tire of seeing these wonderous fireflies....Inara may have a mind of her own but who wouldn't with looks like that!

OMG.....I have just heard that Tiko will be travelling soon.....yippeee!!!! AND the FFs better be nice to him.....he looks a little timid and very gentle. Bagat looks amzing, looking forward to photos!

 

I am, officially, the BIGGEST FREAKING IDIOT ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH.

I very nearly lost Jo Jo today. As in, I was so tired and stressed from school that I ALMOST LEFT HIM IN A FRIGGIN SAFEWAY BATHROOM.

I was seriously running through the store like a madwoman trying to find out if anybody had seen my bag, well my dad called my phone (also in my bag, along with my sketchbook) and apparently a lady had found my bag. Luckily she hadn't taken anything and Jo Jo was still safely (albeit unhappily) still in there. Dad gave her a 20 which he says I now owe him, but hell, it's worth it.

The scary part (besides the whole thing) was that from her clothes and how desperately she asked for a reward, she was likely homeless or very poor and would have made off with the bag to pawn off my phone and most likely having no clue what Jo Jo was worth...Ugh, it's terrible. She seemed very nice, though.

I am officially the worst BJD owner ever, Jo Jo looks disoriented and sad, and Lucy is FURIOUS with me.

Talk about crying.

I'm too upset and tense to really comment but I will say that Pheboe (or is it Phoenix now?) looks beautiful with her new eyes....

Oh god I feel so sick right now.

 

I agree with DarkStar...I so admire your pictures Imajica, because they completely whisk me right into a different world...I love Phoebe's world...so gentle and relaxing. And seeing Inara in her world is like a visit to a park...a wild park...with things that could eat you...but quite an adventure...and then theres the water running in her little pond/waterfall...I'm dying to see Trinity's world so I do hope she shows up and I really think that sooner or later she will. And BTW...Inara...you are gorgeous...and that dress is GORGEOUS...but then, she could make a flour sack look gorgeous...that hair...

I want a Person so bad...she's next on my list...I'm already buying clothes...

Hunny dont be upset, you wont ever do it again, it was a lesson and he found his way back to you. Lucy will forgive you, probably give you another of her wise old vodka spoons sayings but she will forgive you. The lady did not need to answer the phone, she could have dumped it and kept everything inside but she didnt. Everything worked out, you are all together and her honesty bought her her meal for tonight. Maybe she really really needed that meal, so it was all meant to be.

 

Exactly, Spookyj...what Imajica said You won't do it again so you really learned a lesson without a loss and it probably made that lady feel good for having done the right and good thing...and she came out ahead for it with a reward too. Its a happy ending all around! Well...except for that $20 you owe your Dad now...Lucy will calm down and Jojo just had a little scare but he will be fine. I'm sure he feels good knowing how much Lucy cares about him and is secretly enjoying watching her bluster at you. BIG hug to you.

Here is Trinity's cave. Its empty. I cant bear anyone to use it. I dont want to take it down, it just sits waiting, Louis the vamp cat and his family pretty much own it right now

 

Oh Spookyjester...I so feel for you. I am prone to doing that sort of thing and I know the sick feeling afterward. The way to a male’s heart is through his stomach...give him a good feed and I am sure Jo JO will forget about it in no time! Or maybe one of Donny’s magic cookies....Donny knew what he was doing when he made those!

I also happen to offend people sometimes without ever realising it! I am a bit of a muddlehead which Luna would attest to! Too many things going on in my head most of the time.

Trinity’s cave is amazing imijica. I just know she will one day enjoy it. AH! so that is how you produce the most wonderous photos...... I wish I could be so organised. My workroom looks like a bomb or two has hit it right now!

Hey Dollzwise, you got your glass of wine and feet up yet? You deal with the most torturous work schedule...don’t know how you do it. Hope you have a restful evening.

 

Yeah, I guess I sure learned my freakin' lesson...I just feel so awful about it. I really only got him back because of sheer luck and I feel terrible. How horrible would it be to be abandoned in a bathroom?? UGGHHH.

I just feel like I should have KNOWN I was too spacey and anxious to keep an eye on him. I just wanted us to bond more. Guess that plan backfired.

Lucy seems to appreciate him more though. Although I think this has ruined taking BJDs with anywhere with me forever pretty much.

 

Awww Spooky - Trust me, its happened ALOT with Tiggy. I have to keep adding in backup systems, and it still happens sometimes. Scares the fricking begees out of me every time too.

Lets see, she has been left on various train layouts, art objects, trees, atop cars, teetering on ledges, hanging precariously from my husbands pocket when luckily a sales lady noticed before she took the big dive....fences, mailboxes, a fire hydrant, tables, statues, I could go on and on. I think its the stomping that usually gets my attention.

It just does happen when they get a chance to explore the world. I freak out basically daily. I constantly check for her bullet case in my purse....frantically, many times a day, and yet despite all this, it just means the world to her and me to be letting her have a humongous life.

That was a true scare today, but dont let it stop you from letting them have a life outside too. They always do find ways to get your attention. I mean they are psychic, so Jo Jo just probably implanted the whole idea to have your dad call, and that lady was very cool to have picked up the phone, and returned your purse. That says alot about her. But having a scare like that, all it says about you is that you were trying to let Jo Jo have a bit of a life outside in the wider world, please dont let it get you too scared to let them have their time in the sun too. Dolls really like being a part of your life, it makes them more alive too.

Folks I apologize, I just am too tired to follow links{ EDIT Actually I did - those MOLW dresses are freakin Amazing!}, I want to but I can barely see and I havent even packed for the weekend, and have very little time in the morning to do so. I must at least make the list before bed else I wil be comatose trying to do it before work starts in the morning.

I love it about the two dragons. And Yes Imagica, you make a good point, its a fast moving train and its just not always easy to know what to post about except ones own stuff when one is newer to this thread.

I am glad so many are making nifty wonders for our little ones. Your cave is so beautiful Imagica. I so wish I could figure out how to bring them all home.

I was so bummed today that there are a whole series of shots of Tiggy deciding to do herself in to not keep drawing more people to the maker. CoCo Pup saved her from this existential angst. its been wearing on me all day. I may get a chance to figure out the storyline later this weekend at some point.... I still dont know exactly what saves her.

but anyway here are a couple pics.

 

Thanks everyone. And thanks Dollzwize, it's nice to know it's not just me. I was literally running around panicked and muttering expletives and "HAS ANYBODY SEEN MY #%^&# BAG???" that I felt like such a dumb kid. I HATE feeling like that.

I'm sorry to hear that you're so bummed out! I think there IS something in the air. I've been a mess recently too. I assume it's partly your crazy work hours and partly the ordeal with Charles? If you want to vent i'm a good listener, so pop me a PM sometime (or post, whatevs) if you think it'll take a load off your mind.

And poor Tiggy! Lucy sends her hugs. I think she's cooled off a little now that Jo Jo has reassured her he's alright, but she has informed me that "IF you evers do this crazy thingies again, i'll have ya pickled, folded up likes an origami an' mailed to the Antarticas. Don't have pushing me, I knows peeps."

Yikes.

 

Imajica - Phoebe's eyes are beautiful...so sweet and innocent! Perfect for her.
And I am glad you relented and postd a pic of Inara, she's such a knockout with that glorius red hair ! It's so sad seeing your wonderful vamp cave just waiting for Trinity....I do hope she comes home soon.


DarkStar - The thought of a "Fae Yard Sale" ...just has me so tickled....especially with them sitting there directing and you doing all the work ! LOL....


SpookyJ- Don't beat yourself up over it....these things just do happen to all of us at some point ! ( my sisterinlaw left one of her KIDS at a macDonalds once ...didn't realize it 'til she was leaving the parking lot and heard someone yelling, looked back and saw him standing there!) Be thankful Jojo is back where he belongs and none the worse for his experience! I'm sure from now on you'll be more aware of what you do with your bag.
I agree with DollZwize, don't let this stop you from letting your little ones have a life outside home, that would be a shame.

Alida has been going with me as my "co-pilot" when I work...and the kids just LOVE her ! Now they call the wheelchair van the "magic Bus " LOL ...they are all so cute and so sweet,. Alida made me promise to mention this to you all, so you don't think she's just hanging around doing nothin all day. ( Dis jus do bees my jobses! an' it's mosts importantfied!!)

Hi everyone.

I got a notice from the virtue squad about OT posting (the grasshopper one) . Although she was nice and gentle in reminding me the rule about on topic posting, I'm quite discombobulated because as much as my heart and soul wants an FFF, I am not able to buy one at the moment. I thought I could buy the vampire Fidelia and just remove the fangs but besides being scared to place an order at CCC, I just don't have the funds right now. Being a full time artist and having delays with moving to the US to be with my prince has had setbacks and so my savings have dwindled and it was only the FFF mommies' request for creatures that's helped me tie things together. Its so frustrating because now there's RP soso available and I can't order that either. Sometimes I just end up but when I visit this thread and I read how much fun your all having and how much you appreciate my creatures and my little bundle of joy it lifts my spirits somehow.

I'm doing my best to save and scrimp so I can finally get to WV. My prince have been holding out since September and were both feeling ragged and bruised from being separated.

Sorry to dump on you all. I just don't know what else to do about not having an FFF. I'm making one out of PC but I don't really think I can post her with my creatures and Egg without consequences from the virtue squad.

What am I going to do? I love this thread and everyone in it. You've all been so good to me and my little Egg. I guess I can just update the FFF momies concerned with photos and the rest of you can visit Egg and me at my flickr or blog.

By the way, I love Tiggy's adventures and everyone's photos stories. I'm always able to comment and sometimes I visit the photos stories threads instead and comment there. Sometimes I'll see something nice about an FFF like that flaming red wig on Imajica's or the Trinity cave or rivermyst's faery dwelling or Wilkie's. But I feel like I'm an impostor or pretender because I don't have an FFF. I feel like I'm just a lurker vendor pushing my stuff even though I really feel like I'm a part of this community despite all my inequities.

I've been stepped over and ignored in the other threads so I keep coming back here. Even in the PF thread where Egg oficially belongs to. It was the FFF momies that's pulled me through some tough times. So thank you all from the bottom of my heart and Egg's too.

SPookyJ, I'm happy you got your bag back and ended up helping an old woman in the process. And now your wee ones are closer to each other than ever before.

Dollzwize, I love coco pup. I am not so fond of anthromorps but he's changed my mind about that somehow. He's adorable.

Stay please please. I love watching your amazing work unfold. I love sweet little Egg. I feel so bad because I was the one that wanted to see your little grasshopper guy.

Cocopup is fab. She looks like a big dog but its only because we know how small Tiggs is that I realise what a little pup she is. Adorable! Always been a fan of doggy jowls and she has them a plenty. Love the train track leaf photo.

Tallulah , Phoebe is remembering you from the egg. She lost a lot of memory in her cracks but she is improving all the time and she sends you big loving hugs back. Did Pipsteds make those shoes for you or are they mimi ones? Either way they are wonderful. I think she glowed so brightly today when I put her back in her house. I think she knows she is staying , I truely dont care if I get my perfect head or not, she is the girl I want. Dont really care about Hunter but Yup really really do want my Trinity. Hope hope and hope again.

Need more Alida photos, she is such a glam little thing. She has waited a long long time for serious spamming.

 

Ahhh Winnie..don't you dare leave us! You and Egg are part of the family...gosh I love little Egg and her gentle loving little spirit so much! I can't wait for you to be able to accomplish your move and settle in and I'm so sure that a FF will find her way to you one day. Just like Spookyj's little Lucy (with the BIG personality!) it will be just the perfect one for you. Definitely post links because we all love watching the process of giving life to these creatures.

Imajica...OMG...that cave is so perfect!!! I'm so afraid Thornapple will see it and get in a snit...or a bigger snit...I so love the cats waiting on the bed...I do hope you have a litterbox or two in that cave.

Tallulah Belle is GORGEOUS...just a vision in that photo! Just look at that hair! I see Inara and Tallulah with such gorgeous hair and think that some fairies just have it made. I'm afraid my girls are cursed with hair like mine...you just can't do a thing with it! Ummm....though Thistle Anne's dandelion hair is, I think, exactly as she wants it judging from the glare I get.
Last day to get through at work for the week...oh man I can't wait for 5:00 to roll around!

Thanks everyone about sweet CoCo Pups, she is a Resinsoul Boboboie Pup, the Boston Terrier one, (the pups are in stock at Junkyspot!) I just added to her faceup, which worked fine on the faceup part, but the MSC smudged all over where the drips formed which, oh well I love her the more for being so loved on. Tiggy is waiting for her to get a pinksome manicurification.....

Hmmm Lana I think just quit while you are ahead, you probably need Thistle Anne on your side right now and I think her hair is glorious. Primroses sticky up pigtails are such fun too. Thornapple can come use the cave when ever she wants and stay as long as she wants. About time we saw more photos of her too. Erm not sure if those vamp cats would use a litter box even if they knew what one was lol. Oh and you should move to Australia, its already tomorrow here.

Creaturesmith, please don't feel you can't be here because you don't have a FireFly - yet. Like others have suggested, just post links (as much as we love coming across those photos right here!). Your girl will show up when it is the right time. That's how FireFlies work. Yours probably just doesn't want to have to go through a move halfway across the world so she is waiting until you get settled. Please don't leave us, Winnie! Too many of us have come to think of you as a good friend and we love seeing you here!

Spookyj, so glad that story had a happy ending. JoJo had himself an adventure (granted, a little scary one) and it has probably scored him some boy points with Lucy! Lucy will quit yelling at you soon. Probably.

I swear we will try to sneak some pix of Thornapple this weekend. She is still waiting for her dress from Myownlittleworld and I'm so hoping she doesn't pay Rachele a visit one night for making her wait for Inara's and Phoebe's dresses to be done.

DollZwize, you know we all still love you even if you have a grumpy day once in awhile...we all have those days when we're a little out of whack and I'd be right out of mind trying to deal with the schedule you're running...so yes, we ALL get grumpy...right Nell???
