Ember that is an awesome picture. We have a steampunk fairy, how cool! And she looks so calm and at home with those metallic soldiers beside her-
And yay for a new thread.

There is a terrible sound of hammering and sawing and a strange highpitched sort of cry coming from Tilly Moon's hidey hole, but she isn't in the mood for visitors, so I have to wait to see what is going on in there. Her three little mousies are scurrying in and out at top speed gathering dry leaves and grasses and what look to be feathers?

Work for me for the next few days, afraid I will get horribly behind again but I will look forward to catching up on everyone's adventures on my day off!

Lily is annoyed that her dragon isn't as big as Peri's.

 

Look what Midsummer has found! A tiny magic wand! She won't put it down for any amount of fae dust. Pandora wanted her picture too. I always get a cloudy misty like picture when I take them in this area of the house.

Thanks for pointing them shoes out to me, weird-doll-grl! I'll keep an eye out. I think i'd end up painting them black though. They do look a tiny bit big but I think they're great anyways.

This second thread is a Firefly Faerie Saga!!!! With the first thread pictured our faeries as little girls, now look at them!!!! And with some new faces too!

 

OMG! We are on page two already!!!!

 

Before I sign off for the night, have to be up at 5:00 am.

I'm willing to put together another swap for Valentines Day...........Cupids Secret. Let me know if we want to do this again since the Christmas one was so much fun and a wonderful success!

 

OMG I am so excited I hopped around in other threads trying to signal "Mothership Mothership FF!" but actually more subtly - duh PMs would probably be alot more effective..

Anyway, Yes Thank you MuseStar, I really am feeling better, but apparently still sound and look terrible, and my husband pointed out that indeed I am still really dehydrated because tons of liquids later.........well, nothing LOL!

I spent an obscene amount of money today, so I have to lock up my account or I am going to have to go back to work soon - YIPES!

I was sort of dazed and confused and just kept shopping all day - not the greatest way to deal with a cold, but I sure have tons of stuff to play with now!!!

But I am sure had I been a little less under the weather I would have merely gotten the one thing I went for, and not the 87 things I ended up with. Man, its been ages since I went wild in stores!

Anyway, I really really cannot do that anymore. Somehow I was merely out to buy my PKF one of those Liv doll wigs, well 6 wigs later, and TONs of toys, exercise equipment, crafts, model kits, eye putty - YES I found MACKS! A myriad of wooden eyeball sizes, yarn for wigs, which led to more crafts, which led to more stores.

OMigosh, now to stay home and Make Stuff!

Well how is it that my Amaya (Fuuga) not even here yet I may add has already let me know she is only renting at the monamei sisters house. Min does not look impressed at being turfed out of her room. I ordered them a plasma tv to make ammends but I just dont think its going to work out! How is it that the only cottage that I dream of her living in is the most expensive to ship? How come I am endlessly searching for the perfect bed for her when she clearly has one at the Monamei residence? How come I can get bigger more elaborate ones but this one is perfect? How come its the perfect size for two even tho I decided Hunter was going to live in the forest? How come I thought this one was going to be the "easy" one?

Hey Imagica, I just hopped over to your profile page because to me you just Are that wonderful doll on your avatar - its a Kaye Wiggs? Its such a wonderful pose. I just smile whenever I see you!

I also noticed you have an Elfdoll Tiny Kai - I am getting one, she is on her way. Do you have any pics of yours with Inara? Or any pics at all? I found that sculpt fascinating for the longest time, its hard to find any pics of them at all on DOA. I am wondering why? I see pics all the time of the Monamei sisters and pretty much go back and forth daily on Min or Bong, but this Kai came up and I leapt - what can you tell me of her?

 

YIKES, Tiggy I LOVE your glasses!!

 

My Bong is my sweetie. She makes me smile the most out of all my elfdolls. My kids hate her "ugly Betty" I think she is beautiful.

When I got Kai I was so unsure I was going to sell her, the wigs were too big and too dark. I finally used to dress her in hats, changed her eyes and finally I appreciated the stubborn little features and realised she was not so fragile and insipid as I first thought Close your eyes for an off topic photo lol

Carrie Tinybear made me the perfect wig fo her and I love her, she has become my tough little tomboy beach comber. I will take photos of the two of them tomorrow.

Ohhhhhhhh Imagica - I utterly Adore your pic of the 3 dolls meeting, its Incredible. All 3 dolls are spectacular, and so very real. How these Fidelias's hold their own is just Awesome.

I Love your pic of Kai also. I so appreciate your forthrightness, I kept wondering why I saw so few owner pics. But something about her face just worked its way on me, and your pic sure shows why. Is she kickier than the other sisters? I am wondering cause this is about all I could find on her.

LOL Grael - You are going to laugh even harder when you hear the whole story. Those glasses were at the Gaithersburg doll show, and I just drew the line at paying 18 dollars for a pair of old Barbie sunglasses even for Tiggy, but Chivalry is so Not dead and Tiggy has apparently worked her magic on my husband so he suddenly hopped forth and bought them for her. Oh My LOL!!! So those were her big special present at the doll show.

My husband adores Tiggy and he really cannot understand why I even bother buying any other dolls. Considering what all she now owns around here, I am wondering too LOL!!!

Wow, thread two?!?!? Haven't been able to keep up, dealing with snow removal here. Good news, my order status for Fuuga has changed to "Processing". She's that much closer.

 

DollZwize, I have a Kai too. Every so often I see one come up on eBay so they are definitely still around. Here she is with my Lyn (Wren) at the Christmas party:

I have to go do battle with the elements. We got about 2" of snow but it is all tracked down on my side pavement so it is going to be a bear to get up. When I get back I'll find one of Lily's first pictures (this one is a pretty early one). Love the database!

It was interesting looking up when I first posted re: Lyra's arrival - Sept 26! I couldn't believe it....it seems like shes' been with me forever.

She's grown a little ('tude)! DollZwize, Lyra does still have her original faceup (and default eyes, too)! I love it! Wouldn't touch her face, but I'm going to do a body blush one of these days.

Funny several of you have mentioned Kai....I had her, but I let her go. Just didn't bond with her (and to be quite honest, I think part of it was she was so aggravatingly "kicky", it drove me nuts! That was before I would've even considered sueding or anything on my own.)

Midsummer got a gift card from Tilly Moon for Christmas amongst all the other fine and fabulous thingies too, and Lily was so thoughful to send a wonderful china set, and a pumpkin head too, and more, sooooooooooo thoughful! BTW, Midsummer ate all those choco cookies!!!! *sigh* I guess they were good, I found her in the box upside down!!!! A sugar rush in a fae, not so good!!!! I'm gonna need a butterful net!
