Wait, I thought Kazakai had already been banned for...um...questionable business practices?

 

Being banned doesn't stop you from scamming on other sites, or hanging onto dolls for months, Stoner Kitty.

 

I was told that felony charges can be pressed if the items involved are worth over $1000. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

It didn't, I don't think. But I believe we have been told previously that Kazakai is active on other sites.

 

Branchuchan had considered Kai a friend and they've known each other for a while now. They had been communicating through other sites, DOA, AIM, and the phone. She trusted Kai because she thought she was a friend, but ended up getting messed over.

Branchuchan is a very good friend of mine, and it hurts me to see her hurt. Plus I miss the dolls too. Rainier, Jean Paul, and Kaz are very dear to me as well.

 

OMG, your poor El! :O I hope you get everything back soon...that's atrocious.

 

Even though she was banned from here, she still seems to be causing a lot of trouble. :\ I really hope you get your dolls back - while this may be a trite comment, this is probably the first time someone's taking action against Kazakai, and I commend you for it. :3

When will people realize that this Kazakai chick is nobody's friend? I've never talked to her myself, so maybe I have no right to say anything, but there are so many threads just like this about her out there, and all of them say "I thought we were friends..."
She doesn't have friends; she has people she keeps close until she can find a way to scam and rob them.

Anyway. The situation sucks, and I hope everyone's dolls, and more, is returned to them soon.

 

Personally I think she's entirely dumb for scamming people out of such valuable items when the very people she scams know her address. Unless I had a P.O. Box, I'd be looking over my shoulder every day...never know when you might scam the wrong person.

What about going to a small claims court? She has scammed a lot of people including bullying a girl and taking her doll (which I had customized for the girl). I think it is about time that legal action should be taken against her. I wish you luck and hope that your boys return to you.

 

Congrats to you for having spine enough to go directly to the police on this matter. She's shown time and again that she is unwilling to resolve disputes in a reasonable manner on her own. I sincerely hope your boys get home ASAP in the same condition you sent them out.

Just wanted to say I'm glad someone is finally doing something against her, and good luck. I hope you get your dolls back in the condition you sent them out in and that she didn't do anything to them in some type of pathetic revenge :\

 

It was mentioned on Resinality and the Den We Shall Not Speak Of, but for those unable to join: If you've had a bad transaction with Kazakai, this might be the time to say something. If the police see a number of claims being made against her they're more likely to act faster. I remember much the same occurring when a complaint was made against Kakyuu. There were quite a few that had also been screwed over, but were afraid to say anything. And only spoke up once someone said they were willing to get authorities involved.

 

i'm cheering for you, i hope everything turns in your favor. i've never crossed paths with kazakai but i have read about countless cases of her scamming since i entered the hobby (abt 2 years ago). its about time for some legal action to be taken against her. have you thought about reaching the rest of her victims so maybe you could develop your case into a class action suit?

A class action suit is a civil suit, so it might be a better idea to see if the police can resolve things before getting embroiled in that. That said, the police ought to have a list of all the missing items, so anything recovered can be identified and returned to the right person. Honestly, for doll items, it's a lot cheaper to let the police handle it because you don't have to pay for an attorney like in a civil case (some attorneys charge the cost of one doll per hour, don't forget).

(I hope that she caves before it gets to an arrest and trial . . . that would make life so much easier!)

 

It might vary from state to state. I know we've pressed felony charges where I work for people stealing Wiis when they first came out, and the felony charge was for the amount of the items stolen.

Doll stuff can add up so fast, too. With a whole doll and 2 heads that's quite easily over $1000.

 

It's about time that someone has had the guts to stand up to her. I can't count the number of people she's scammed on one hand anymore, which is pretty sad.

I'm sorry to see that another person has been taken advantage of. It's hard, when someone you trust, abuses that trust. I hope that you're able to retrieve your dolls and items, and that nothing is damaged beyond repair.

 

Branchuchan, did you file with the police in Texas or in Ohio? You might want to file with the police station in the precinct within which she lives, if you are allowed to do so.

I'm glad that they are back with you and very sorry to hear of the damage. I don't know much about these particular dolls - I hope that they are fixable. So happy to hear you are following through with a detective - I guess Kazakai messed with the wrong person this time!!

 

Eeew, those dolls are dirty! Not sure if you're aware of this, but Kaz is on the Biohazard list on other boards. I forget why, and have since stopped visiting the Den, but it has something to do with her modding dolls with her own blood...? @_@ (Just a rumor, please don't shoot me. I wasn't involved, but I think it's something you should be aware of.) Someone who still frequents that site can tell you more, there's several threads there devoted just to Kaz and her...habits. Might want to hit those heads with some antibacterial soap, just in case. Glad they're back safe and sound, though. I hope you're able to get the rest of this resolved.

 

Now that's just....repulsive, not to mention beyond unhygienic. By the time you got dolls like that back in the mail, you wouldn't need to worry about HIV, but Hepatitis B and C could still survive on the doll's surface. I'm not trying to scare you or anything, I'd just wipe them down with the 100% alcohol and start all over. Who knows what other "presents" she could have left you.

 

Not to speak in Kaz' defence here, but she has only claimed to use her own blood in a mod once, on a zombie head that was her own. I doubt she uses it regularly in face ups...

Also, she went back and edited that post after a lot of people told her they thought that was disgusting, so the proof that she's ever admitted to it is gone.

 

I'm glad that you got your dolls back, even if they are in bad condition. I'm sorry that this happened to you. I will say that I am a friend of Kazakai's and I'm pretty sure that this wasn't truly intentional.

As for the modding things with blood, that was for his own doll, and it was not meant for anyone else. But I don't think that's the point of this thread. Anyway, as I said, I'm sorry that this happened to you, and I'm glad that you did get your dolls back.

 

I'm really glad to see that someone is doing something finally! I know the young girl who's doll got stolen by Kaz, and I'll contact her ASAP to help out!

I can atest to the disgusting condition dolls are left in after being in Kaz's care. It took me hours to scrub the dirt and gunk, and even a little sanding, off my doll.

 

i've been following this on multiple forums and i can say, thank goodness they're home to you now! i would offer to do free cleaning/minor repairs and faceups for you to help erase the visible traces of the trauma but i doubt you have any wish to let them out of your hands right now. it really is kind of scary, seeing the condition they arrived back to you in.

 

So sorry you had to go through this, BCC, you certainly didn't deserve any of this!!

And fingers crossed you get the rest of your items, too!

Reading things like this make me want to lock my girl up in a safe or something so no one can ever harm her *hugs her doll* but then she wouldn't get enough love.

I'm glad you got most of your stuff back and are till working to get the rest. I'm also glad you actually have people working to help you rather than taking the "pfft its just a doll attitude" that I came across the one time my cousin's friend stole my girl and tried to hock her.

1> what a weirdo to even do that! whats wrong with some good old dark red or even fake blood!
2> someone call the whitecoats and get her to a padded cell asap!!!

its good you got your stuff back tho even if it was in a poor condition! it makes you think howdo people like that sleep at night!
