USA Central Ohio (Columbus) traveling meetups

Those are actually the same place, lol. Not sure why they have different names on different sites, but the address is the same. It used to be in the place where "Worthington Jewelers" is now, and then moved to the Old Rectory. I need to go back, I went when I was in high school? Maybe? It was interesting.

Also the meetup was fun! Pretty good turn out all together.

My next vacation is in October, if we want to start planning waaaay in advance.

So I said it in Facebook, and I'll repost here - it was the best time. Everyone was friendly and excited to share their love of dolls. No one seemed uncomfortable (if you were, please let me know).
Everyone's dolls were loved and celebrated. If you are nervous about meeting a bunch of strangers - please don't be.
I promise to bring better food next time.
My Impldoll body decided to do a dramatic flop (she doesn't like her pants). I'm trying to get my pictures to upload now, lol.

 

The meet was a lot of fun!

I'm new to Ohio (-ish; moved to Cleveland in Sept. of 2023) and I'm getting back into the hobby. Would love to be able to go to any meetups in the future.

If I know ahead of time, I could make it a trip for myself. I am from Indiana.

 

We try to post here too when we plan a meetup, so those not in the discord can come. At the moment, nothing is planned for just our group, but there is the upcoming Tri-State Meetup.

 

There is a meetup planned for July 13th (Sunday) at 1pm. Instead of Columbus, we will be meeting closer to Dayton, at the Fairfield Commons Mall in Beavercreek.

This mall has several amenities that may be of interest, including an anime merch store, a Pokemon store, gacha machines, a Japanese arcade, a Miniso (blind box items), and an anime-themed bar/restaurant.

We will be meeting initially at the tables near the gacha machines, and will either remain there or move to the nearby food court if they are occupied. Below is a map of the second floor, with the meeting area circled.
