Camellia Dynasty - Discussion Thread

My Wong took easily over a month to ship when I ordered him. However, when I emailed CD during my wait they replied within 24hrs with an update. Their silence recently has been strange.

 

Could be a good idea, if there's no progress within a few days -- I think you have upto 45 days to open a case with Paypal ( ? )

In the last couple of days, I've received a full refund from CD for my order -- no explanation, but I guess I won't be getting my Wong either. I hope it goes better for you, edwardsgoldeneyes !

Thanks, Anneke; the delivery time seems to be quite appalling, from what I've heard so far! Would you say Wong is worth it?
I hope they're willing to explain, soon... I'd really love to get my Black Wong...

At least they've spoken up, although I think it would have been much kinder to reply to an email or two, and spare us the worry. o___o;;

Two days ago I wrote them a new email explaining the situation about you all and it seems that this is the answer.
Still I did not receive any email from them. Hope all this mess get fixed soon.

 

I would love a white Wong myself. I was told they'd restock him around the end of February. Fingers crossed. I do agree, though, that some kind of communication would have been decent of them :/

So I really dont understand, if it means they sent me money back. Because I dont have nothing on my paypal. And I payed 124 USD. So I really dont understand

 

Yeah, I'm glad they explained things a little, but with what I've seen lately, I'm not sure I trust them to order from them again just yet...
I hope it goes well for those that go ahead, and they'll stay in touch about their transaction though. ^___^


edwardsgoldeneyes; sorry to hear about that, I hope that situation has been resolved!
My order form said "Pending" after the refund, but maybe they just took a bit longer to get to you?

If you're still worried though, you could try contact paypal//opening a dispute with them, for the money.
They usually respond pretty quickly, if the payment was made less than 45 days ago.

 

Hmm, still no money on may paypal. And even paypal case is closed. And it sais, that I ll get my money back. :-(

 

Still have no news from them.Edwardsgoldeneyes, maybe they deduct the fee of the transaction from your money, the amount is 4,5% of the total. I hope you will receive it soon on your account.

 

Did anyone get a resolution here? I've been thinking about ordering Wong as well....

No news. I got my money back. But I still want to order from them. I want black Wong so much!

Sadly their website has been down for several weeks. It actually seems like a sad situation here...

 

They only updated some pictures on their facebook. And they said the been hacked or somethink. And they have some new email or whatever. But I cant trust them now. Its soo sad, because their kitties looked soooooooo good.

I just wanted to let you guys know, I tried their new email and I got a response. It took about 2-3 days but that's not too bad at all.

 

I was just on one of the Chinese BBS, and this link was posted as their web address and it appears to be in working order.

 

I got another response they said white wong will be back on the site sometime before august There are some available in their hong kong location.

 

Ok so im going to buy the Windrac mould soon. Anyone have anything to say? or pictures maybe? I cant find anyone who owns him?!

I really like the nine tailed foxes, I am not sure witch one I like better the black one or the white one.

 

So I decided I like the black one and I just ordered one, I really like it, it is such a unique doll.

 

I'm in a group order with Ice for 2 foxes a white and a black one. So excited about them. They are to be are little hell Hounds.

 

My fox will be shipped out to me in a week or so. I cant wait!

HURRAY - my Ling has finally been shipped and as of 2 days ago his status was "Despatch from Sorting Center". I hope that means he's on a plane to the states!

thread revival!!! (?) I fell in love with junipa's Om, and found a modded Om boy who arrived today. Love him, what a cutie! I read that only 28 Om's were made, does anyone aside from junipa (and now me!) own a Camellia Dynasty Om? Or any of their other mini boys? This thread was posted in the "larger" dolls thread, and I'd be interested in seeing larger CD boys as well, but the dolls mentioned in the thread starter are mini's!

 

My Om is number 26. ^__^ I wanted to get him earlier, but their site kept disappearing whenever I had the time and money. It's a bit of a miracle I got through just in time!
I also wanted Abracadabra, but he was long gone. I really like my Om, and wish they'd make more of these little guys.

 

aernath, I'd love to see a photo of your Om!!! I want Longago as well, and would love to find him someday! I had to run out of town right after I got my little guy, so I haven't had a chance to spend much time with him and haven't even opened the envelope with his papers in it. His box is at my studio, so I can't see it until tomorrow, but I'm hoping I'll find out his number from his papers (?)!
He's so cute, love the weight and feel of him! His eyes were modded quite open, and although I love the look of the unmodded eyes, I'm totally smitten with this little darling!

These little guys are really great posers, and so cute! I think if the company had not had so many problems with keeping their website going, they would have sold quite a few more. I know I would have more than just my one. He's one of my favorite minis, and whenever I feel crummy, he comes out and comforts me. ^__^

 

I finally got to my studio to check his box for paperwork, and it was there! My Om is number 25. I have only seen 3 others, would love to see more of them!!

I'm a little surprised that this company's thread isn't more popular. They have some great sculpts and finally I found myself a horse!!! I have just ordered a white Sage and the extra mane/tail inserts to make a set in fantasy colours.

If anyone has any of their sculpts I would love to see some spam here.

P.S. Looks like this company may have had some problems in the past, but now has it sorted ~

I want to order a Sage since years but now i'm wondering if the company is still working (and covid oesn't help). Do you have any news about them ?

 

Did you ever end up finding out about this and ordering? I was wondering the same thing. I recently got a Sage secondhand but I want to get a horn for her. I sent an email through their contact form so I guess we'll see if they reply!

Anyway, here is my Sage! Unbelievably I found her at a used bookstore (original box and all) and I was able to find a Worth Point listing from when she had been previously sold offsite. The listing explains that she was airbrushed by AngelToast!

I saw @TheBodyVolcanic's doll profile for Opal and I was like "let's check out this company." I am interested in Ish but google was not helpful in showing me anything but the official photos. Does anyone have one that they can share photos of? I want to get a true sense of the sculpt before I decide on a WTB thread.

 

Search the company name on flickr and you can dig out some images of Sage. I've done a few searches on some outdated Chinese bjd sites but couldn't find anything.

 

@sylfr I did a search on Flickr and it's mostly just the wings or the animals. Oh well.
