Ooooh, the dolls are pretty! How do you get the little cats tho? i really want one, do you get them if you buy a doll or what?

 

I couldn't see the pictures of Om or Abracadabra... but the body pic was up in the News thread. He (whichever he is) is really cute!! I like the ivory color of the resin as well.
I tried to get to the site but I guess too much traffic is crashing it?

Those little rabbits are adorable. Those should be made in human size!

 

I love those cats too :3 I like both of the 42cm boys--I love Om's nose, but I prefer the rest of Abracadabra's face. If they really are $150 US each as the special price, then I might be tempted to get both XDD I wonder how one would go about ordering though...

 

I am very interested in the little boys and the cats too, I will be keeping close attention to these threads. The creator is very wonderful, such nice sculpts!!!

 

If anyone somehow gets a hold of these cats, id love to buy one! Id split if they came with the dolls... just to get a cute little kitty ^^;

 

Is there anyway to order them? I would love to buy Abracadabra.

 

I am just in LOVE with Om. If the PM I sent you is a little, umm, batty, it's because I'm in love XD.

He's only the second sleepy-eyed doll I've ever liked. He looks so sweet and yet devious.

I was wringing my hands in my LJ about grabbing him, and one of my mates who doesn't even do the BJD thing told me to knock it off and just grab him. So... I really hope I'm able to do that! He'll be treated like a prince, I promise!

 

I'm very fond of Om myself and wondering if this is the reason I've been putting off so many other orders (mundane stuff like books and dvds). I'm awaiting eagerly more updates on these lovelies.

 

The only other time I have had a reaction to a doll like I did to Abracadabra, was the first time I saw a picture of a DollZone Xi and a DollZone Mo, which were my first and second dolls and to this day my most cherished boys. For the longest time I have wanted to find a doll for a muse I have named Quinn, and Abracadabra, the moment I saw him I knew he was my Quinn doll.

 

Wow I'd really love to know how I could order Abracadabra =) He's so cute! Also I have fallen in love with those kitties! and I truly want a kitty!

 

I'm really keen on these boys as well - they're exactly my kind of doll. I won't be able to scrounge up the cash for a month or two, but I'm really curious to find out how I'd go about ordering.

They have beautiful faces, I really look forward to seeing what else this sculptor comes up with in future (And those head-bunnies are adorable - like Pita-Ten or something ^.^)

And my bank charges WAY too much for bank transfers and I won't deal with Western Union sooo...

 

Um... even the people who order dolls won't have a chance for kitties until 100 days after they recieve their doll, if I understood the update correctly. And that's if they remember to email the artist with pictures of their doll at that time.

 

That's not a bad requirement, really. It makes the owner work a little for the cat.

 

Well that's... their choice I guess...

Just ordered and paid for my Om. I've been pleased with communications so far and hope the trend continues.

 

I so agree though in my case it was an Abracadabra. Now the wait for him begins.

Contacted via email, just like it says in the news thread, paid via paypal. No fuss, no muss, so far.

Now, no more dolls for the rest of the year. I have two on order besides him >_>;. Well, I didn't buy but one last year. Lost time. Good season. Going to have to build risers for the doll family pics once everyone gets here.

yeah-- I thought that was very good of them (mostly because, while I like the kitty, I'm sure that I'd forget to send pictures after 100 days). Rather hoping for yellow myself-- I've always been partial to marmalades.

Of course, we have no idea of what sort of lead time we're looking at, do we? My luck, he'll be shipped when I'm out of town for a week >.<

I was kinda looking forward to sending in pics and then getting the kitty, but I shall accept insta-kitty and send pics anyway.

I believe the third horns are water demon horns? Anyway, they look like the horns of the water demons in Disgaea II.

Edit: I just realized my Om will be #12! Wow. So many dolls, so little time.

 

I must have one of those kitties. It's the first kitty I've seen that I've really wanted. Wish they had 1/3rd sized dolls...argh! Oh well, I have an Abracadabra ordered. Still have to pay for it.

i just emailed for an Om. the price is so good and that cat! if Om had elf ears i would totally be in heaven but regardless i love his face and i must have the cat. i hope i can get one still.

How long has Camellia Dynasty been around? The body shots look good, double joints mean good posing.

Just curious, rose-romance, perhaps, have you gotten to handle one?

 

I just saw this in the news, and just love those kitties! I sent in an order for Abracadabra since he reminds me of my son, and we have a white kitty almost just like that (except ours has green eyes). So, here's hoping for a white one (or I'd love to trade with someone if I get something else that you might want - seems like everyone has a preference!)

I have a couple of questions. This will be my first BJD that is not a tiny, and based on the size of 42cm, is this considered a larger doll or a mini? I was searching the rest of the larger section since this discussion thread is in the larger section to get an idea about clothes and shoes and such, and it seems to be for much larger ones, and I went over to the mini section and that seemed to be for dolls up to 45cm.

As for the kitty, does anyone know if the eyes can be changed out or are they painted? It's hard to tell from the picture, but it sort of looks to me like they can be changed.

 

they are considered mini or MSD sized. im not totally sure about the cat eyes but i am guessing that the eyes can be changed.

 

I would be up for a trade Carollq. I plan on painting the kitty into a tabby, so don't need a specific color. I'm still waiting to hear back on my e-mail about the Abracadabra I ordered.

Abra. and Om would be Mini sized, but this thread is in the Large section because it's about the hair clips (for large sized dolls) and such, we all just sort of saw the kitties and started talking about them here.

I'm just worried they will have sold out already. (crosses fingers)

carollq if I get a white one I will gladly trade it for what ever color you get. I don't really care about the color of my cat. I am just happy to be getting one.

 

Well I'm still waiting to hear back from the e-mail I sent, it's been almost 48 hours so now I'm worried. I'm going to mail again tomorrow.

EDIT: Just got an order confirmation e-mail this morning! Paid, and now the wait begins~

 

I got my confirmation as well, and paid. Yeah! So that means I'm getting my boy and my KITTY! Yeah. (happy dance). And I should have him by Dollectable, but not sure if he is one of the boys I'll be bringing with me to the convention. (I have so many to decide between).

i got my order confirmation today and paid through paypal. now we wait. has anyone ever ordered from them before? i wonder how fast they are and what the resin is like. i got mine blank.

 

My guess is that nobody knows yet, kathrynmary, since I asked the other day and got no replies.

 

Considering that, as near as I can tell, this artist has never taken overseas orders before, it's going to be quite the guessing game as to just how long we wait. The average lead time seems to be about a month, so I doubt it would be any shorter for such a small studio as Camellia Dynasty seems to be.

 

i paid through paypal yesterday~ i used a credit card and today i got a notice that my payment had been returned. has this happened to anyone else. maybe its because i paid with a credit card? this really sucks i wish i would have gotten a reason....

i actually just got a reply from hellash. it was just a problem with her email and she gave me another to use.

 

Kathrynmary - Same thing with me. I got scared for a second there.

 

I had the same problem, and resent the payment. She's new to paypal, AND doesn't know english that well. I'm just happy she is letting us order.

glad its not just me but now my credit card isnt going through now probably because the credit hasnt gone through and i would be over limit if i get another doll without the first one showing back up on my card. i will wait to tomarrow and try again. i hope my tax money shows up soon that would help.

 

Maaan, me too. I have to wait for the bank to say the money's back in the account before trying to re-send the payment, because without that... yeah, I'd be spending more than I have.

Hopefully it doesn't take too long to show back up.

Sola: Cats can be black, white, gray or yellow.

I also have confirmed the payment of my Abracadabra, I am very happy

 

Ah! Grey is what had transmuted to "blue" in my head. See how much attention i'm paying! That said, id' be happy with black or grey, so i've got a 50/50 chance.


I hope the resin is nice and sturdy; i like my minis wih a little meat on the bone.

 

I hope I get a grey or white, as those would be easiest to turn into the 'tabby' mine will become.
