So I recently got a Bambicrony tan Emily (again) and I didn't realize they'd made a few changes to the body. I mean, I saw the pictures on the site and I knew about the new optional mature bust, but I guess it didn't click. Either way though I'm happy to have an Emily again!

Question: Is the waiting not that long when you order and have paid for a doll?
I knew Bambicrony when Yoon was the former owner, so I don't know how the company is doing now with service and delivery times.

For me Nia is a lovely doll so who knows I could bring her home, I had an Emily and Judy in the past.

 

I ordered back a round December of last year and my order only took a month. The current administration is also very friendly and pleasant to deal with from my experience. Sorry I don't have anything more recent to report back.

 

My Nia returned from her face-up artist today and I absolutely love her to bits. Her resin is such a lovely shade and it photographs beautifully, too.

I was always nervous about tanned dolls, but their dolls are so gorgeous, it looks like their faceups turn out really well ^^

 

I was always uncertain about tan dolls, too... but the Bambicrony tan is a gorgeous shade and I'm happy I took a chance on my Nia.

Is there something wrong with the Bamicrony website? I'm trying to research their Ciao Bella dolls and the site just runs and runs in between page changes. I'm trying to find out where they are located and what ship charges are, etc., the basics. Are they a good seller? Ordering is going to make me nervous if it takes hours for the site to work.

 

Cathie, I just tried navigating their website and it worked fine for me~ Perhaps it is the browser you are using? I am using Firefox, and it seems just fine. But to help you out, their address (along with their email, hours, etc.) is always located at the bottom of their website, which is Seoul South Korea. The last time I ordered from them was last year for a Blossom Tan Emily so it has been a while, but it was very good experience. They even have a layaway option which is super nice! As far as shipping goes, I don't think they have an easy calculation tool but you can always just add the items you want into your cart and check the shipping that way. Using that method, for someone who lives in the USA, EMS shipping for one of their Ciao Bella dolls would be around $41, and their Brava Bambi dolls about $51.

I was wondering if anyone knows how often they restock brava Bambis? I really want an Ellen in tan but I'm guessing it might not even be restocked since it's limited

 

Hi @geeonek. I dunno if you're still looking for an answer or not, but I'd guess tan Ellen won't be re-released for a long time. You could always inquire Bambicrony via their Q&A board or buy her secondhand on the MP, though.

Hi there! I have a question about these lovely girls. Are they done on a special order period? I checked the site, and they all appear to be "Sold Out". Every single one.

 

Hi @wherethelilacsbloom! Originally Brava Bambi dolls in NS were "basic" dolls and tan dolls were limited to about 15 per run, but in Q3 2015 Bambicrony pulled the line with the intent to update the bodies.

Last I heard they were working on said new, double-jointed body. I'm unsure when it will be released, though. You could always consider asking them via their Q&A.

I hope this helps, at least a little.

 

Aah thank you for the information, @PeppermintPocky ! I think so many of those girls are just darling. Hopefully they are re-released sometime this year.

I see you in a lot of doll discussion boards We must have similar tastes in dolls!

Bambicrony has not been on top of their game as of late. Who knows, though? Maybe they'll bust out some new dolls tomorrow just to prove me wrong.

 

I really hope they re-release them soon. So curious about their new bodies.

The sculpt I want most is probably Angela, followed by Emily and Nia. They are so sweet!

I've been eagerly waiting for her release since BC put a photo of her prototype head on Instagram months ago.

Can't wait to get her home!

I'm waiting for a tan event.. :3 I reaaaaally want a tan Angela on the new body.

 

I'd love to see your tan Angela! That is, if they ever decide to hold another tan event.

I'm tempted to buy a Nia, but not sure how I feel about the new body. I'd be more inclined to buy the head separately, but alas, there's no option to do so.

 

They offer their Belezza heads separately from time to time, so I'm sure it can happen with these girls, too. Though, perhaps, not for a while, as they (understandably) probably really want to promote their new bodies.

The new body doesn't look like it'll have the most variety when it comes to posing, but it looks cute, and I wouldn't mind having one.. It's just that the sculpts I want most are a WS Myoie and a Tan Angela - neither of which are available right now. >_> Of course, I love several of their head sculpts, but it just feels like those two are more important to me right now. Maybe I'll get my wish next year! They definitely had a Myoie head on one of their instagram teaser photos, so I'm sure she'll be offered for sale sometime soon.

 

I ordered this new girl BonBon Sugar today. I chose the mint dress and bonnet option.
I hope it's ok to post her here because I'm not sure if she really is a Brava girl. She is almost the same size, though. And she can share the same clothes and shoes. Her body is different and she got a slightly bigger head.
