Everyone's doll is so cute! I wish I had more time, right now I'm neck deep in school stuff.

 

Hello again! I posted here a while ago, before my tiny girl arrived home. Well...little Skyla is finally here! She's a Yu in NS and she's sooo tiny and cute, although she's slightly bigger than my Serendipity dolls. I love her little ears. I'm still waiting for her proper wig to arrive, but even with mint green hair, she's adorable. I'll be back later with a picture.

Awww all the pictuers are adorable. I just made my first real order last night. I ordered a Lucky Girl in white skin. All my other dolls have been gotten through friends so Riane(Ry-Anne) is the first doll I have ordered for my self. I will post pictuers once she gets home. She does have a twin sister named Vevila that belongs to my best friend/ roommate.

 

Darn, I was supposed to go on a doll hiatus til Christmas but that Yu is just so precious! I might have to cheat a little.

Plague - Thank you!! (thank Yu?) lol they are very tempting, aren't they? When I first saw Yu, the cuteness of the sculpt just sort of sucked me in, and my resistance was futile.

 

I picked this little girl up at a convention yesterday. I'm still figuring out her character and name, but I know she's a fairy. Eyes and clothes temporary.

SizzMacabre your wig is excellent. I too have been playing with fur, but only made 3 wigs, got side tracked and started making bears and guinea pigs lol

Just a heads up, there's this line of Baby Alive dolls that I think they're going to stop selling that they're putting on sale. They have dolls and a couple outfit packs. The clothes totally fit the tiny Bobobies. Probably a bit loose on Resinsoul dolls, but they'd still work. The shoes actually fit rather well, but that's only because they had open backs. At Wal Mart I bought this outfit for $3.50, but then I saw it at K-Mart for $2.


Not all the outfits look that cute. The only other one I saw looked like this, and this picture looks twice as good as the real thing.


All the dolls at K-Mart were marked half off $11, so an outfit would only be $5.50. That's still not too bad. The clothes on the dolls were really cute. I was really tempted, but I just got some sewing patterns that I'm working on now and need to stay motivated! (Plus the thought of buying dolls just to steal their clothes and leave them naked weirds me out. Do I throw them away? Give them to the thrift store where no one wants a naked doll with a weird clothes size? I don't know.)
I just thought you guys might be interested. The pink dress is surprisingly cute and completely proportionate.

 

Oh, that second one is adorable! I'd totally buy that for Fern if they had them in the US. I probably wouldn't use those shorts, but I love the shirt and the leg warmers.

Congrats on finding a dress you're happy with at such a reasonable price! It would weird me out to steal the outfit and throw away the dolls, too. I can't throw away dolls... no matter how ugly, damaged or cheap they are...

 

anyone an idea, how long the waiting time from bobobie is wright now?

This is my bobobie Eric. He's since gotten a new face up but I lost his s-hook and his pretty green eyes in the process so I need to replace them.

 

They are in the US. Wal Mart and K Mart. The shirt isn't bad. I don't really like the colors, but the shorts are all jacked up. I'm 100% sure you wouldn't be able to fit the feet in the skates, either.

 

Here is my new girl. She is a Bobbie Lucky girl. Her name is Riane and she is quite the diva. I also found that the dresses on cheap porcelain dolls fit her perfectly. Waiting on her wig but the hat is quite cute(stolen from a porcelain doll)

I finally made Fern a dress that she's happy with.



It's not at all what I had in mind for her, but she's got a mind of her own, I guess.

Fairy Milliner that dress is amazing! Just looking at that fabric makes me happy. Fern is awesome from head to toe! Seeing that lovely green resin makes me want green resin of my own. lol

arghhhh...so it looks like Skyla isn't getting her FMD wig after all. I am actually quite annoyed. I searched all over the place to find the -perfect- wig for her, and finally found something from ForMyDoll. I went ahead and ordered it in the size & colour I wanted. This was back in August. Then, I started waiting. Today, I get a message from them, saying that they can't make that size of wig in the heat-resisting fiber. So here's my question...WHY is that choice available in their ordering menu if they can't make it??? I'm guessing that I am not their only customer this has happened to. I replied to their email, asking about that. They are going to give me a refund on Skyla's wig, but I'm still waiting for the answer to my question. Meanwhile, I guess Skyla is stuck with her Leeke wig until I find another one that I like for her. =/

Thanks very much! Her looks are supposed to be a combination of her parents' looks. The horse came with the blue halter on it. I got it at Wal-Mart.

Just an update for me, I'm planning on giving my beautiful Pip(elfkin, white skin) a mod job, a new face up and body blushing, a new wig, and new eyes....

Wish me Luck this is my first time!

Some people had told me she takes a 4-5 wig, but the one I bought was way too large.
A 3-4 was just right. I got it from Fatiao on ebay, but I don't really recommend them, you can see the wefts through the hair.

Hi, there! I am considering buying a Moony, but have some questions. I am super new to this bjd thing so bear with me, please. (I joined a few years back but never ended up buying a doll. Too poor lol.) What size wig does she wear? What size eyes does she take? Is her build similar to pukipuki so that she would fit clothes made to fit pukipuki? Thanks!

 

Generally, the Bobobie tinies wear wigs size 3-4 or 4. It seems like most people go with 8-10mm for eyes, and they're bigger than pukipuki dolls. Lati Yellow stuff will fit them better, but there are also some dolls at Toys R Us (or wherever you can buy Barbie-ish dolls) whose clothes would also fit.

My goodness i love the sunnys! i tried to get a sunny in pink but they were all out when i ordered him on Junkyspot. He will have to wait till after i buy my resinsoul Dian.

 

Oh my gosh! Okay, so last night I went to Target and found this ADORABLE little bakery diorama! It's from some animal dolls called "Lil' Woodzeez" and it's SO cute! It was 20 dollars and I'm pretty sure it'd be the right size for my elfkin when she gets here. It even comes with oven mitts, an apron, and a little hat! (along with all sorts of cakes and muffins and pies!) I really want her here now, just to dress her up and pretend bake >3<

Actually, I just happened across a thread about what will fit Bobobie tinies. Somewhere in there it says that the Crib life clothes do fit. Along with all sorts of other little dollies from Toys R Us. Hope this helps >3<
