I wish I had some better picspam but since it's 5am here I'm a bit too out of it for that... I'm awake though because I finally received an email from my host family in Japan and they are all okay. I'm so happy I'm crying! So I wanted to have some happy spam for you all.

In other news I got a HUGE pile of glue sticks from my mom... COLORED glue sticks O.o I remember them from when I was little... but we never used them... So now I'm kinda looking at them like >.> What can one do with colored glue sticks >.>

RAWR! The shoes I ordered for Val are -apparently- out of stock and I'm absolutely flaming mad about that >.< I emailed the person back but we'll see if they think the shoes will be back in stock ever T_T they were sooo cool T_T

They're so cute. I always look for them when I go shopping.

 

I had to import most of mine i got 12 out of 34 from this country. But even that was from China town. They are only just coming out over here, and they are mostly the animal ones so far. But i do love them. They are great for BJD cake!

 

Karla-Chan: Drismi's new face-up looks GREAT! When you said you were getting new face-ups for her and Scops I thought 'That's cool, but it'll be odd seeing them in different face-ups.' I can now say, at least for Drismi, I was VERY wrong! Her default was cute on her, but this IS her! I think...looking at her with it instead of the default...is like THIS is the face she was waiting for. If that makes any sense. I'm sure it's because I'm used to seeing art of her, too, and this makes her look so much more like your pictures of her! Funny how something so relatively 'small' can totally change things and make a doll more right, isn't it?

 

I am happy you think it was the face up she was meant for. I did want Drisimi to look more like my art and i wanted Scops to have a little more to her. But Drisimi's face up is a big change and it too me ages to get over the shock. I think it is was great in both cases that my friend managed to keep their looks so they still look like them. If that makes sense. It is like she kept the best bits of the resin soul defaults but made them both look more unique.

thanks she is beautiful..I really love that wig...the pile is pretty long on the faux fur...I can only seem to find faux fur that is about 2" long.

I haven't decided what color I want her hair to be, I really liked the lavender color on her, except the wig I have is too big for Jinxy.

The wig is one I bought, it's from MonstroDesign's on etsy. ^^ I have a couple blue one's from her and the pile is way short. Different furs and such I suppose. I've got a white wig from her on the way and a red one of my ID girl, and I've got a silver wig on the way for the drow boy once I order him. *L* Wig and eyes already on the way and I've not even ordered him! I've got my priorities straight on this one for sure.

 

L.I.V wigs are WAYYY too small For Sparrow. Guess cause' Espree's must have a bigger head.

 

that's great Pink Cow I am glad that your family in Japan are fine, I have also found out that my parents are safe as well as my friends it is a huge relief for me. I wanted to take some pics of Nox today but didn't get the chance lol, it's spring break this week and i've just been enjoying not having work and school at the same time lol. One thing that was dissapointing is Nox has two dent/scrapes at the very tips of her ears. How would I fix that she also has a small scrape on her arm and I don't want to ruin her or give her more scratches.

 

I am really happy that everyone's friends and family in Japan are safe. I was so happy when i found out my Japanese friends where safe too.

Thanks everyone, and I'm so glad you've all had good news from your friends and families, too. I'm still sending lots of prayers and love to Japan. I'm also offering and bidding on lots of stuff on the LJ help_japan auctions so I can do my part money-wise too.

 

Great news! Great news! The poor Japenese people. I support the Japenese!! Hope not too many people were hurt..

 

I think some people have been doing some creative things to raise money which is pretty awesome!
