And I'm so glad I could take some pictures of my dolls in natural lighting today! My dad hogs the camera from Monday - Saturday, so Sunday is only day I could take pictures outside. The lighting inside my room always makes my dolls look yellower than they are >.>

 

ooo...I love that shirt...wow it has a yoke in the front and everything...doll clothes really amazes me. I can do something like that in real people clothing but all this doll clothing is turning out not to be my thing..

Don't mind the strange outfit that is composed of a stocking shirt and a rather odd... skirt that has pirates on it that I crappily sewed together!

I was wondering about minifees resin compared to resinsoul. Does the white match and does the Normal skin match? I would like to have a minifee body some day but I just want to know what colors match with resinsouls or bbb. I'm sure this question has been ased and answered many times but for some reason when I try to search for it the function is all messed up...

Thene0nshiva - RS & minifee white skin do not match if both are new...minifee white is a creamy white, where RS is paper white. I have a mnf head on an RS body that match very well, but the RS body is older and has yellowed just enough that its very close. I would think it would be easier to match an RS head to mnf body though if you blushed the head

 

*explodes* I need to do something doll related before I go crazy. My kids are driving me nuts and I need to zen out. Did the nails on the rong hands and feet for mom's tulip yesterday and I am just FROTHING to do something else but I have no idea what project I should work on T_T I wanna do a fast project but I don't wanna start a NEW project T_T Does this count as a Dollema? it sucks regardless.

Minifee normal skin matches the older RS/BBB body quite well. I have minifee head on the older body - you can see it here (second one from the left) and some quick comparison pictures here. The new RS/BBB normal skin is not even close.

And yeah, you have better luck matching OLD resinsoul NS and OLD minifee NS.
Newer NS tones just wont match.


It doesnt always match 1oo% though if they're also old NS. I had my MNF Seorin head on an old RS body, I think both are 'o8? And they matches decently but still not perfect, still, it's better on the old body than the new body. New body = TOO PINK.

 

Awww....Lynn...I know what you mean! Wish I could be of some help, too...but as is, I'm using DoA to sort of 'zen out' myself at the moment.

I've taken some more pix of Gren in a newer outfit but haven't uploaded them to Flickr yet. That's what slows me down when it comes to pictures -- take the picture, set up the computer, upload pix to computer, upload from computer to Flickr and from Flicker to here. Waaaaaaaaaaa!! Too many steps!

I'm waiting for email replies and shipping notices on a bunch of dolly stuff, I got me some of those dolly Jelly bracelets and Val has 2 pairs of shoes I'm waiting on shipping notices for... GRR it makes it so hard to wait when you take so long to decide... like it takes me HOURS to decide. Worse yet I was on Release rain, and I found the perfect shoes for Cassie's punk shoes (her and val are both my chameleons) and the color I want is out of stock. no big shocker being that I wanted black... BUT COME ON! T_T

Raesha~ More than likely it will be more than hands and less than heads... I'm just guessing but I'm sure the reason you didn't get a reply is because he doesn't know how much they'll charge yet... What If i blushed a white skin resinsoul/bbb to match a white minifee? Would that work or are they that different?

You could probably intentionally yellow the BBB white a bit to get a good match.

 

I don't have a compassion shot, but i have seen they do actually look a lot different i have a friend who has a white skin of both. The Minifee has a creamy tone to is compared to the white of the RS.

 

If you want a BBB/RS head on the Minifee body it shouldn't be too hard to blush it to a more neutral, creamy tone. You blush heads when you give them face-ups anyway, so getting it blushed in a shade to match the minifee body better wouldn't be too hard. And if it's a little different, it wouldn't be too big a deal, I wouldn't think, as blushing and face-upping a head, without doing a body blush makes them a little different in color to a body, anyway.

You could also try an intentionally yellow/mellow it a bit, to match better, too.

HOMG DARK GREY WHUTTT I am going to have to add yet another potential dolly from them. Everyone has such lovely dollies in here, I can't wait to see the new arrivals. :>

 

Well, Renzo still in proses, today my husband was sketching his tattoos. we're no sure yet if we will continue this design or trying another but I know hi will do a good job. BTW, he told me Renzo's chest was weird and asked me to mod him... "Sure, he's your son LOL" I told him, he's planing to move his nipple in a more natural place, I don't like where is by default, they are almost in the middle of the pectoral and not look natural... here's a pic with a pencil reference where they should be... sorry here Renzo is all dirty with dust and pencil marks. I ordered another hands too cause the new DJ body have a longer torso and the pose of his hand may make the arms shorter than they are. I was sanding his side muscles too but I still working on that... I don't know if you may notice that in this picture, wish me luck

 

Ugh.. I still need to do Sebby's tattoos. Someone on his facebook said she knew a guy and was going to try to get him to design some.. I can copy anything, but I'm horribly at coming up with that sort of thing...
I can even describe the basic idea of what I want for him, but actually drawing it up is beyond me.

Dovani in her new wig! This wig is so amazing in person, I love it. It's a Monique Gold Rebecca in black-brown. It's a little longer and so much fuller and richer toned than the sales photo...and I can't belive how soft and featherlight it is!

 

Mirrin: Usually the tattos of my doll have a special meaning, this one is more aesthetic than a meaning, but will have many icons and objects that are are linked with many things I like, like Jack, Ganesha, Domo-kun, music and another things dunno. Is a very good exercise to draw in a paper the things you want in that tattoo and then put them all together, that may work.

Raesha: Thanks... I will post more pics in the proses soon... OMG that wig look amazing and OMG that doll is so beautiful, the skin color, the face up... all... I want to see more.

 

Well, I've had the ideas for Seb's tattoos for about 10 years now, since I came up with the character back in the day. I know how to describe them. I'm just no good at actually designing them.
They're hearts and filigree that kinda branches off the hearts. They're on his arm to his chest and on his back and a little up onto his neck..
It's not that I don't have a clear idea. It's that I suck at drawing filigree.

 

Ahh... Renzo gets cooler everytime I see him! I think the sketch is looking good so far, and hope to see it done with colors

Great news on the darker grey. My purchasing the Twins was a little way off anyway due to an upcoming trip, but I can certainly wait a bit longer than I'd already planned to for the darker grey to become a reality.

 

Yeh, for realz. I'm hoping either I or someone I know gets it figured out soon. Seb's a little incomplete without them.

Mirrin I know you have/planned to order Letty a corset dress but tonight I ordered the Junior Shardgel for Isolde, so when it gets in I'll be sure to take picture and let everyone know how it fits the DJ large busted girl.

I spent my afternoon working on Morgana's space, she took out the walls of my doll box and turned into something just for her. She's a determined girl for sure.

Nox Spam!!

I tried to take other pics of her outside today but they didn't come out so good

 

I wanted to show you guys a new update on my Riley. ^ ^ It's been decided that her red eye was caused by something, and she likes to hide it, even though she sees much better through it. So, she got. . . an eyepatch!



It's a little blurry, but it's really just some lace made into a flower and then sewn onto an elastic band. It helps keep her wig on, and works as an eyepatch. It reminds me of Rozen Maiden!

 

Thanks, i think they do a bit as well. I think the make her look unhuman like, which in a way is cool. I think that is why i have left them in for now.
