Not sure if it helps, but the light blue fades very greenish/aqua. Very pretty, but not really blue. The sky blue doesn't seem to fade as much. My OT sky blue Bao is still very blue looking, but my light blue Pixiu girl is pretty greenish.

Question for those who have ordered custom colors from Resinsoul, specifically to color match to existing resin: what are the most successful/least successful methods of providing the color to them? I would like to not have to ship a part of my existing doll over to China, but thought I could provide a piece of paper/board painted by myself to match the color of my doll? (He's a VERY dark tan so we're not talking about typical shades of peach or caramel resin)

I've searched through this thread, but as as we know the DoA search engine is all but useless. I'd like to hear what others have done!

 

Take a piece of the resin to a hardware store that sells paint. Specifically one of the stores that has those little paint sample cards. If you can find one of those that matches the piece, you can send that card to Resinsoul for color matching. :>

and/or get a very true to life photo, open in MS Paint, use the eyedropper tool to select the most accurate color match, open "Edit Colors," and either screenshot or note the HSL and RBG to send to RS

Does anyone know off the top of their head which companies have similar resin to BBB normal? I have an Apollo head that I'd like a body for, but I'm not big on BBB or RS boy bodies

If BBB has the same color as Resinsoul (are they cast in the same place? I never remember exactly how closely tied they are), then Doll Leaves normal is a nearly perfect match, or at least it was in 2021.

Hello!

I have a quick question about the Su (RESINSOUL--Su) head. Does anyone know if that head will fit the Bigger Girl body(http://www.resinsoul.com/05-chanpin/p-001-1.asp?id=342)?

If not, what heads can fit the bigger girl body?

NeonHeiress: I checked the website all of the tall ladies have a 21 cm head circumference(except Rui she has 21,5 cm) and Su head
is also 21 cm so I think its possible.

I'm seriously considering of getting another rs heng in normal skin as Steve rogers but I also wanted to use rs Heng mold as Geralt of Rivia,is it weird to get multiple of the same mold to create different characters?

 

I tried to measure and I'd say it's closer to 13cm, but maybe I'm taking the measure wrong

 

I do it all the time! I think I have 5 of my favourite head in the hobby, and 4 of another head I love—the faceups make a lot of difference

I'm considering ordering him as I am in need of another Cen body in a custom color and this new guy seems to be on the Cen body? Don't really want a other Cen head, but this new boy.....

Edit: I emailed Resinsoul to ask what body he comes on. If he's on the Cen body, I'm gonna ask if they can do the colors I want. So if all goes as planned, I might be ordering him soon~

 

cap'n: if you check the measurements of the rs cen body and the new boy they are exactly the same so I think the new boy is on there new 61 cm body.

 

Resinsoul confirmed in email that the new boy is on the Cen body. :>

I might have to wait a bit before I can order him. I have a few dolls I really should try to sell first before adding more to my crew. Resinsoul ships so fast so I can't just order him and expect a 6 month wait to give me time to rehome others. Can't believe I'm complaining about Resinsoul's great shipping times.

 

Does anyone happen to have the new 60 cm girl body and the 68 cm girl body (aka the "bigger" girl)?
I would love to see a comparison of the two. How are they different? Is one just taller? Longer arms/legs?

Does anyone know what happened to the resinsoul website?? It's just completely gone now, and there's a different company on the same url.

 

It's working fine on my end? Not sure what's going on there. Some people seem to have problems with it lately.

 

Can verify, it's working fine for me (just tried). It did load a little slower than normal, but that's all I noticed

 

Ok so I have kind of fixed it. What happened it that I got an error saying the connection wasn't secure and I clicked "continue anyway" cause it just means Resinsoul hadn't renewed their https certificate, and then it took me to an entirely different website, and now every time I try with Chrome, it takes me to the different website. I tried on mobile, and I got the same error, went back to google and clicked it again and the Resinsoul website loaded. I tried my laptop again with a different browser and it also loaded. So it was a false alarm, sorry!
