Blossom Doll Discussion

Just got this Molly head and threw it on a DZ 65cm girl body that I have. The neck is too big, the movement is very limited but I was able to get it on. It doesn't look terrible but it will do as a loaner while I get a proper Blossom Doll body for her. If they ever contact me back. Now that I know they are sold through Alice's Collections I should have gone through them. They head was white but has obviously yellowed (it's several years old) so now my concern is what to do about the body. Get a white skin body or get yellow and hope that it matches this creamy color?

 

I have a brand new white skin Molly head and it's quite yellow, yellower than the old yellowed DZ white skin body I had... I ordered it through alice's collection too...

Does anyone have a blossom doll 60cm girl body? I've looking for an alternative body to Dollmore for one of my (too many) Kara Klum heads that's floating currently...and I thought this one might be a winner. I have yet to see any in owner pics tho -- is it new? I'm dying to know if my head will work with it...

Hello everyone! ^w^ Yet another asker here, sorry. ^^; Thoing is, I got a ns luts senior delf head floating about, but don't feel like getting out-body for her. She is mean to be very skinny teenage girl, you see, and I feel the out's bodies loo too curvy. So I dunno is finding comparison pictures about head and body impossible, but I would, at least, love to find out how good the colour match is, if someone happens to know. ^w^ So does someone have luts ns and blossom ns in they house for comparison?

 

I do. I can get one for you but the Luts I have is way more pink than Blossom Doll. Blossom's NS is super yellow.

 

I'd like to see it if it's not too much trouble - or the Blossom with anything....I'm back to looking at it for a Dollmore head and I'm wondering if I should go with white and blush to match, or get NS. Probably NS, but it would be good to see! It look pink to me on it's official pictures.

Alright! Here's a side-by-side. It's actually not as bad as I remembered. I feel like the yellow-ish tone mellowed out a lot. Blossom Doll was from 2013, I believe. I'm not sure when the Luts is from.

 

Yay thank you!! It's not bad, they look like they're the same tone....so I think it might be doable. My Dollmore heads are about a million years old anyway....they might actually be perfect. Now to start scraping up cash for the body. And all the other bodies I need....D:

lol! Just buy 'em all in the same resin colour and they can share one fabulous body.

 

I keep making excuses as to why they need their own bodies, like they might need to be in the same photos together!! Then of course I only ever take pictures of one doll at a time...but you never know!!

 

I've got a Blossom Doll Molly head on order! I'm so excited! Tracking says she's on the way - can't wait to do her face up!

 

Be sure to post her face-up, Cavahn, I love her default but I'd like to see her with something different.

She didn't arrive today - but tracking says she's in Chicago, so I guess I have a few more days to wait yet!!

hello all! i plan on getting a Anthurim head in the upcoming future but i to get it in that
normal yellow resin. does anyone know any male bodies that would be a good resin match?

 

The closest match I've found is an old Crobidoll M line body I have. They're almost perfect. But the neck is a bit small for such a large neck hole. I feel like he'd fit well on an Impldoll body (same neck size) and they do resin matching.

I'm thinking of purchasing an Anthurium head and I want to use it for a female character, but I'm at a lost as to what female body might fit the head or what skin tones match. Does anyone know if this is even possible or should I abandon the idea?

 

You'd have to mod the neck with epoxy or something. Anthurium's got, like, a 12.5 neck. Maybe an Impl or Iplehouse body? Twigling? They're all 10.5. I don't know any girls with bigger necks than that. But you could make the hole smaller with epoxy. I've done it for a boy to girl neck mod before. As for matches, their NS was close to an old crobi body I had. But it was a body from 2008 or so so it's probably yellowed.

 

Ditto on the neck mod...

And as for color, I know that when Blossom Doll began, they were a perfect match for Doll Chateau/Dollzone Normal Yellow.... I believe they may have even been cast by DC? But that's only hearsay. I'm only mentioning this for color reference, BTW--DC necks are some of the skinniest there are!

I am waiting for a merry doll roung fang in strawberry. Do you guy think the white skin blossom body will match the strawberry from merry doll round? Or is it a complete miss.

I think that Blossom Doll white is similar to DC white (which is *very* white and not pinky at all). I'm pretty sure there are a few DC/Blossom hybrids in this thread to compare. I think, if you wanted to use that body, you'd probably have to airbrush the head to match.

 

Hey everyone I just found out about Blossom dolls today & I think Anthurium in tan skin is going on my wishlist do anyone have resin matches for Blossom doll's tan skin? I'm gonna go through this whole thread one page at a time now é_è

Don't know about tan really, my Anthurium is normal, but may be they match with Iplehouse? Their heads are on SID bodies on promo

 

Rook_Sever Are they really? That's great news! The SID body is a bit too bulky for the character I have in mind, but finding resin matches with Iplehouse's tan skin will be a lot easier than struggling to find info about Blossom Doll's resin.
Anyone else having only pictures of flowers pop up whenever they search Blossom Dolls? Just found out what an Anthurium looks like

I've modded Resinsoul boy body's chest into a man chest, and anso it is very good to seam removal, old sueding and hotgluing removal, cutting and carving all the stuff... aaaah, it is easier to say what I don't use it for

 

Ooooh! So like a type of dremel then! I was thinking something like a heat gun for some reason. Derp! Yes, those are super duper useful. I don't know if I'd ever have the patience to do a chest mod.

Hah! I'm a total dope! I always think of it as a tricked out sander because that's mostly what a use it for. That and cutting fingers off of dolls for modding purposes. Muhahahah!

Hi there all! I wanted to ask a question! so I found a similar resin match for anthurium on the dika doll boy body 68 and plus the body is slimmer than other bodies i've found and i was wondering is anthurium's head too big for the dika body? I'm not sure but i think the neck size is 10cm? and if so does anyone know of any similar body types in the normal yellow resign? thanks in advance guys!

Anthurium's head has pretty wide neck, fits well to the Dollshe's bodies. His neck is around 12 cm, fits Iple SID (according to Blossom's site). If you are looking for slim body and like Dollshes - I can take a couple photos of Anthurium on Dollshe Rhythmos and/or DSAM35 body^^
