I don't know if anyone else has mentioned it, but Dearmine has MSDs for $250- one is an anthro cat and the other is a human girl.
Here's the new Camellia Dynasty link. (That old one leads somewhere inappropriate >.<) http://www.camelliadynasty.com/shop/index.php?main_page=index&sort=d&language=en Also, Magical Angel offers MSDs at $135, and SDs at $155. I'm saving up for a Shirley. 3 Their link: http://www.magical-angel.com/
Thank you for this thread, I was looking for something like this! Some of the links are broken, but I can still look up the company names.
Alot of the tiny dolls links doesn't work for me =( But still great list =D I decided to go with the doll that got me into the hobby in the first place ^-^ ( a kid delf Pine from luts )
Oh, really! As I'm looking for just an yo-sd, not being picky. I may take the most affordable ones... so, this saved a lot of reasearch, thanks
Hello! I understand your concern, since they seem so much cheaper- the molds are a bit more simple, but I have a ResinSoul and I love it. You have to really study the dolls, in my opinion, up close to see the differences.
Wow the prices r tempting :3 333 I'm gonna have to browse them all to find the molds that fit my characters!! thank u for this ^v^
The prices for the Fairyland Pukifee's and Pukipuki's have been raised (back in 2011) so the Pukipuki's are now $160 and Pukifee's are $210
Thanks for that, anthrogirl! I've updated the prices on those two and moved the pukipukis to the $158-$200 list.
This is a wonderful resource. Do you think the following dolls could be added? Tinies Doll Leaves 20 cm $119 Doll Leaves 26cm $139 Illusion Spirit 26 cm $140 Illusion Spirit mature tiny $165 Island Doll 10cm $80 Xaga doll 14cm $152 Xaga doll 26cm £175 Fect doll 27cm $180 Minis Doll Leaves mini 44cm $159 Xaga doll mini 42cm $235 Fect doll mini 44cm $230 Disclaimer - I don't own any of those dolls yet, although several are on my wish list
Can we add in the Mystic Kids dolls? Prices from Alice's Collections. tinies (27cm): $138 Minis (45cm): $199
I don't see mirodoll on the list. They also sell pretty cheap dolls.I think a large doll for $150 dollar (not sure, can't check atm)
Mirodoll, 1/3 girl for $168 (is their cheapest one, others are a bit more pricey but nothing above $200). 1/4 dolls $160 they have a sale atm. dolls 40% off!!
Is there a shop for Mirodoll? I googled it and the closest I got was a link from MintonCard that led to a 403 error at the web address mirodoll.com :/
Oh gosh! Sorry I didn't see you'd had a problem with the link I just posted. Hmmm, that's odd though, I literally just went there and it worked fine for me. I'll try to remember if I have another link. Sorry! I need coffee, or sleep, or maybe both before posting.
@ArcaneDesire yeah, I tried it on both computers as well as my phone, and nothing. The website doesn't even come up in google results when I search "mirodoll". I wonder what that's about?
@ - Max - That's weird. I just tried googling it and yeah it doesn't come up... But when I used yahoo it just came right up. Hmmm, I have honestly no idea what's going on there then. I'll keep thinking and see if I can come up with anything. *pokes brain for help*
@ArcaneDesire I've tried everything I can think to try: clearing all my browsing data on both computers, several different browsers, I did a Yahoo search amd Mirodoll came up in the results, but it still said 403. I'm not even entirely sure what that even means? I reset my IP address as well but it still won't let me see the site! Edit: Aha, I got it to work! I downloaded and enabled a proxy server addon and now the site works fine! I'll just reset my IP address when I have time and that should keep it from happening again.
Oh good! Glad to hear you got it sorted out! Strange and annoying that you should have to go to such lengths just to view the site, but at least it worked in the end. XD
Thank you for the list , and Mirodoll prices are very low right now . They are selling some minis for 100 dollars .
It looks like this list hasn't been updated since 2010, which is quite a while ago... Perhaps a mod could take it over and take on upkeep of the list? (Additionally, for anyone poking around through the pages, WithDoll's MSDs are $280 for the girls, $300 for the boys, and thus fit into this thread.)
Or maybe someone could collect all the new infos and just contact the OP to change their first posts, as I do believe they are still active around here
There was an updated list at the wiki. I hope it gets restored some day... but meanwhile, here's the latest cache of the list. https://web.archive.org/web/20130807213549/http://www.denofangels.com/doawiki/index.php?title=BJDs_Under_$300!
Thanks so much for this helpful overview. Just thinking about buying a MSD - maybe FECT or ISLAND DOLL. Haven't decided yet. I will check other manufacturers, too. So, thanks for the list.
Milky Queen has some dolls that would fit <$300 listed: Fect Dolls (1/3, 1/4, 1/6 dolls), Cherry Castle (1/6 dolls), Magic Time (1/6 dolls) Also there is this new (?) shop: Gem of Dolls (1/6 and 1/8 dolls so far) Haven't seen them mentioned on DoA, so no further info.
As a newbie when I start going over the number of companies that now make BJDs it's overwhelming. When I first started looking at them (Volks) many years back there was no way I could afford them. And at that time you needed a personal shopper to buy and ship the doll to the USA. Very, very pricey at a time when I needed a new furnace more. This genre of doll has come such a long way and is in a world of it's own, like a big black hole of variety. It's just so fascinating to me...I've spent hours just reading and looking thru DOA and the posts. Just incredible dolls. Cathie
This thread has been really helpful to me who is pretty new to the forum and the bjd world ;u; I manage to order by ideal 1/6 sized boy thanks to this thread and the wiki information. So thank you all! ;u;/
Mystic-Kids MSDs are priced at 199 USD, they're quite nice and if you hit them at an event you can get a free faceup and discounted shipping prices. Their faceups are extremely nice and come with glued on eyelashes. The bodies aren't too slim or too thick, and are highly durable (My poor Evelyn and I learned this the hard way..). They string them so well I didn't even have to re-string my MSD or hot glue her! I can't say I like their most recent sculpts, but they might be someone's style! http://mystic-kids.com/en/ (Let's get this list updated again- I'm sure it's been really helpful in the past and could be helpful again (: )
Right now on ACBJD there's a 15% discount on MYOU's already inexpensive 1/4 dolls and they're barely over $190 blank. I was really tempted to get Dietrich.
