for it being 1/12, that is still a very cheep price. However, it doesn't have a lot of moving parts, so it may be just an uncomplicated piece. I would ask the admins for advice because you're not supposed to link to recasts or recast suspicions.

 

I’m sure AC had that one as an event gift once. I think it’s Sakura & Paper (the company I mean). I think $25 is not the right price, and that’s unlikely to be legit. There’s a listing for the bird for $75 that claims to be legit used, and a sold listing for $140 new. It was a limited release after all.

Edit: double checked, and yeah. It can’t be new, the bird is a sold out limited, and all the sellers items are not legit. I recommend immediately removing your link.

 

The little S&P Xiao Jiu birds were fairly inexpensive (I didn't see the link, so I'm guessing those are what you were looking at-)... I have a pair that I got as event goodies from Alice's, and even getting them with "feather-ups" done they were only around $25 each.

 

I really want to get one of elleo doll horses. Way too many doll/craft projects right now though. Maybe some day.

I'm such a fool I ordered 2 wolf pups. I'm so excited to see them in a month or so. I haven't worked at all with that 3d printed material so that will be fun (I hope!!)

@Moorish I absolutely agree they are so realistic and lively! I admire Crowblackjay's sculpting so much. Which did you order?

 

I had a very long talk with myself and my bank account and ended up not ordering because I can't afford another doll right now. I have a Quadringa Myaree I submitted a pre-order form for, and need to remember I'm paying her in full when the invoice comes!

those ears are too dog like for me- I'm picky about the differences between a wolf and a dog, and most artists will make a dog when they mean to show a wolf. It's just a personal sticking point since people not knowing these differences gets innocent dogs into very bad situations.
Edit: not saying they aren't gorgeous! Just admitting I myself am very picky.

 

I think they look just perfectly adolescent in an a bit of an awkward stage of growth.

It certainly is an issue that people confuse wolves and dogs and think that they are the same though!!

I'm having trouble with their teeny tiny magnets. They are just really small. The plan is to dye them grey or black.

 

Does anyone have pet dolls from DLuonto on etsy? I commissioned a cat and shiba inu from her! I can't wait until they're home. Since they're made from polymer clay, they're off topic. So I thought I'd ask here. I would love to see some other pets by her!

 

Yes! D.Luontos work is awesome! I have several cats from her, even back from the day when she used the name Kawabunga-Lab, and they are all lovely! My newest one has a normal and a sleeping head and both of them can open their little mouth!!

I got a Sphinx cat from D.Luontos and it's absolutely adorable and just the right size for my MSD girl. Love that they come with the sleeping head as well - it gives such variety for photos.

@k-meister I'm excited about the sleeping heads too. These will be my first bjd "pets". I'm hoping the Cat will be the right size for an older kitten for my SD girl and the Shiba is for my smaller dolls.
