BJD dolls/their owners -- personality types based on the Myers-Briggs (MBTI) tests

INTJ here :P

 

I'm between INFP and INFJ, some tests I've taken have come out either or on those last two, I feel like I lean more towards INFP though

 

I have done these sort of personality tests about 4 times now, 3 times I got INTP and this time I got ISTP. Actually it read that I'm really close to both of them, missed INTP by a point or maginally none this time and it gave me ISTP. But if you're making statistics out of this, please put INTP, it's more accurate.

I am Myers-Briggs TI qualified, anyone want proper feedback? , so I know that you cannot base your type solely on the questionnaire. The proper questionnaire and interpretation varies according to location/culture. British extroverts would still be introverts using the US version! There are around 5 different culturally adjusted versions (I think, but I can't be bothered to look, I am an N preference after all).

I'd predict that Introverts (in the MBTI and in a general sense) will be in the majority on any internet forum, the internet was made for us. It would make sense in terms of a niche collecting hobby, too. Some of the extroverts may well be introverts in hiding, this often only comes up in the feedback interview.

I am INTJ, the least common type...which INTJ's are very proud of ;-) I see we have a few here, though...veeeery interesting.

I've taken a few Myers-Brigg's tests before. I've always got INTJ's in the past. I'm usually the odd-one out whenever I take one of these tests, but it's nice to see other INTJ's in the crowd. I guess that means I've found a good crowd to hang out with...?

 

INTJ. I liked taking this test. Very interesting.

 

I'm an ENFP! I fit the description perfectly.

It doesn't surprise me at all that there are more introverts here. Dolls would have never occurred to me as a hobby at all if I hadn't gotten sick and spent a lot of time on the computer.

 

ESFP! But a lot of the questions were such that I could have answered either yes or no, so I'm not sure how accurate this is for me.

 

INFJ here too...fairly accurate

 

ISFP here which is somewhat a surprise.

 

INFJ for me! I see I am not alone.

Though I am moderate on everything, some things were 50% or close to it.

But I found it interesting, that I had surely answered a few things different a few years ago.

I've been taking the Myers-Briggs test for 10+ years now just to see if I've changed and I score as INFJ every time. So awesome that there are lots of INFJs into collecting dollies!

 

INFP.

Interesting... a little different from the last time I took the test quite a few years ago, when I got ISTP. I think INFP is more accurate now though.

Also surprised to see so many extroverts.

 

I got INFJ, which definitely sounds about right, ha.

 

I get INTJ every time I take a test like that, and it sounds about correct.

However, I feel like were I answer these same questions some other day, at least half of my answers would be totally different.

 

I got INFJ it sounds about right. Though the last two catagories were pretty close.

 

ISTP. Though I'm sure if I take this test again later, I'll get a different result.

ESFJ, but results were marginal with E (1%) and J (1%) and only slightly preferring in the other categories. However, the description seemed to fit me well enough today. A bowl of ice cream or a scotch on the rocks might have tilted results.

Huh, this is an interesting one. I personally got INTJ (Introvert(78%) iNtuitive(38%) Thinking(1%) Judging(22%)), which so far is the most common one. It's definitely interesting to see that more doll owners tend toward introversion, or at least doll owners who participate in forums.

 

ESTJ. My result

 

INFJ (introvert 100%, intuitive 25%, feeling 25%, judging 1%).

I got ISTJ, seems accurate.

 

ENTJ here~ I am surprised with this result at first but after thinking about it... it's somehow accurate... XD

 

It tells me I am an INFJ-which is not quite what I expected.

 

INTP. I took the Meyers-Briggs the 1st time in high school, and have taken it several times over the years. I always test out strongly as an INTP. I'm not surprised by all the introverts, once I think on it.

 

INFP. I feel that suits me very well!

 

INTP. Strong scores in all as well.

 

I alternate in tests between INFP and INFJ >.>

 

I'm an ENFP but I can fluctuate over to ENFJ very easily (I think when I first took it, I scored 51% P and 49% J). Both are pretty much me to a T, but I'd have to go with ENFP as my primary.

 

ENFJ, now I feel so different from everyone else on here o.0

 

INTP- although only "distinct" in "intuition" - the rest slight (introversion, thinking perceiving) -

However- the descriptions were pretty dead on.

INTPs are relatively easy-going and amenable to almost anything until their principles are violated, about which they may become outspoken and inflexible. They prefer to return, however, to a reserved albeit benign ambiance, not wishing to make spectacles of themselves.
A major concern for INTPs is the haunting sense of impending failure.

 

I got INTJ now, but the previous two times I did this test, I had INFJ. Both makes sense - my strongest preferences are introvert and judging, and I only got a 25% preference of thinking over feeling, so I guess it can easily fluctuate.

Anyway, I find it really interesting that both INFJ and INTJ types have such a strong presence in the hobby, whereas both of these personality types are supposed to be among the rarer ones when applied to a broader population (less than 1% of the population each).

I got ISFP, but i didn't really agree with most of the questions, yes or no lol. I was confused on like every question. ><;

 

I'm ISFP as well, and it's very accurate for me.
