It's been a while since I did a proper unboxing. Iplehouse pet doll puma ordered directly from Iplehouse on February 23, 2024 and received today, April 9, 2024. I purchased the doll with the Type A head unblushed. Iplehouse will sell pet dolls, but blank only. Box: Opened: Instructions - with elastic diameter AND recommended length! Bless you, Iplehouse. This is a big, heavy beast: Withdoll JWD Olivia: Supiadoll Rosy on DF-H 68 cm muscular female body: The center of gravity, and the vast majority of the weight, is in the doll's torso. The legs are on the 4 corners of the doll. This is great weight distribution for a car, but terrible for a doll. Yeah, kitty is going to need a lot of help standing and posing. But wook at da widdle kitty face: The Type B face (with teeth) is made with 2 colors of resin, so it costs a bit more. I decided I didn't want an angry kitty. Now that my kitty is here, I'm glad I made that decision. Now I need some proper cat eyes. I'm sure I have some around here somewhere... I love it. It's 62 cm from head to tip of the tail. It's HEAVY. It's a big widdle kitty.
What a beautiful car cat! I didn't expect the face to be so gentle How does the weight/size compare to a... real cat?
O.O Wow... this guy weighs more than any of my real kitties I currently have. That face is super cute too... wish I had the room and the money for one.
Holy wow! What a gorgeous sculpt. I can't really comprehend the size of this doll from the photos but it seems huge!
Welcome to big kitty club, your puma is super cute! (The pumas always tempt me.) I wish I had any pro posing tips, but I have never mastered making my panther stand for much longer then the time it takes to snap some rushed photos. My big kitty lays on a bookshelf when not being played with, as it's such a heavy doll I don't like tempting fate with it in other poses unattended.
@Tonboko - yeeeeaaaah, my cats are fat and happy, lol. @Saphira - an SD doll lying flat, or about a 6-month-old cat. Not quite kitten, not quite adult. But definitely BIG for a resin pet doll, lol. @Amet and @Tippetarius - Big Kitty Club! Wooo! Standing isn't bad for me (so far, but I just got it), but anything other than standing on all fours? I'm not too confident in that. I'm thinking of trying some plant wire and silicone kips in the knee joints to support the sheer weight of this beast.
WHOA, what a big cat!! much heavier than my kitty, but she's also quite diminutive in general, lol quite an impressive sculpt! great companion for your other dolls - and should provide some awesome photo opportunities!
What a lovely big cat! I really like cats and Iplehouse (was my first resin BJD). My congratulations and also on the short delivery time! Thank you for sharing!
Oooooh big, big beauty. I kind of want one, even though I have no idea what I'd do with it. That's also a really impressive order to arrival time.
Still love that face! I've had to talk myself out of ordering one a few times over the years. Congrats and good luck with your gorgeous cat!
So far, I just have mine standing in the office. Every time I leave the room, I pat it on the head. Probably not what it was intended for, but I'm enjoying giving the doll head pats. Going to have to give it a good wash before I paint (hand oils...).
OMG I didn't know they went back on sale off to check website..lol. I wish they would re release the bull terriers.
From what I've heard (and seen) they aren't listed for sale, but if you're willing to get one blank you can contact them and they'll let you order.
oh wow thanks for the heads up I'm totally going to contact them...I've never purchased from them so hopefully I can get a message through..lol.
Yup. If you want a pet doll, just go to Iplehouse's Q&A section and ask. So long as you promise not to beg for blushing, they will definitely sell them to you blank.
Oh, seven would be AMAZING. A herd of big kitties! They opened up the ability to order a puma for me, and... it's still open. Which means layaway is an option.
