Kao, my Kid Delf Hodoo can pull all sorts of poses.... and he has absolutely NO wiring, suedeing or help of ANY kind

 

I was trying to stand him up and he slipped and ended up like this! and then just stayed therer! i was very proud

Close up~ I was so ridiculously impressed with my Chrom doing this that I started hooting and cheering. I was also too scared to leave his side so I had to call for someone to come hand me my camera Juuuuuust barely too far away. xD

I wonder if this is impressive enough for this thread...

 

driftingsoul: lol after struggling to pose my Heliot too many times to count in that position I can appreciate how amazing it is that he held that!

And I have a submission that was the result of epic boredom. (please pardon the state of my room, it was in the middle of being stripped and redone..)

MNF b-line Shiwoo with magnetic pipos ears (only the wig is holding them on, they are not taped to his head) with a Miku Hatsune figma (jointed figurine) standing on his cat ears while holding up a puki. Phew!

difficulty: 10...but once I got it they stood like a ROCK for a long time. I even went to the bathroom and came back and they were fine.

As you can see in this photo-story dolls from Bobobie have very good balance (except for Maeve as she has an old body).

This one took me a while to get him to stay in, mainly because the shoes he was wearing didn't let him really bend his ankles much, so his foot kept sliding forward. xD;; he held it better once I took the shoes off though. o 3o MUKU IS A CLOSET DBZ NERD

This used to be impossible, but after restringing and hot glue sueding and while wearing a legging it's about a 6 (finding the balance and not having her legs slide away was the hardest part).


One foot in gront of another, maybe a 4 or even a 3, not that hard anymore

 

Well, it doesn't really count as wierd poses, but I managed to get my little girl standing on both appels ans a coconout xD

Hmm... I got Kiyoshi to stand on one foot. Pretty impressive, considering he's a Bobobie with old elastic that's only been restrung once. :3

my MNF pose more naturally but has no freaking balance. if i try to make him pose with a leg slightly bend he will fall xD
the KDF body doesnt pose very naturally but his legs are strong!

that one was a bit harder. as i said, my MNF legs are weak and the KDF arms are weak!
so Aiden (MNF) kept doing the split and Akim (Unoa/KDF) kept falling ...

Ohho, had to try this. The doll is an Angelheim Luka the Pan with his hooves, unwired and unsueded. Normally he's a really good stander and I've not tried much else other than just standing, so I had to give this a go.
He's sorta naked because I took of the dress of shame (due to lack of clothes 8'D) and it seems easier to pose him when he's not got material in the way. Excuse the mess. 8D


This one was just a simple one foot forward across an uneven surface. Pretty easy but he did slip a bit. About a two?


This one was a little bit difficult, it was just a matter of getting the right angle for his foot. About a three for difficulty.
Buuuttt then I started to get a bit cocky about it and started playing BJD Buckaroo, the alarm clock and guitar are relatively heavy. xD He fell after this photo (straight into the bin next to my desk because I wasn't expecting it. xD)

And this one was undoubtedly a ten, he's quite top heavy and his legs are quite loose which unbalances him. XD I spent about ten minutes trying to get the angle perfect, and he's got some of his fingers ever so slightly tucked under the mousemat because it was getting annoying. <_< Defenitly a ten. XD

I couldn't get him to crouch in his hooves because the knee joint is a bit rubbish compared to the human one, and he seems to be a bit top heavy. Shame.

Excuse the lack of face-up and shirt, but i managed to get Apollo's unmodified, un-wired, un-sueded body to crouch after a simple re-string! In fact, he's still in the pose now, 2 days after i first managed to get him to do it! Bobobie and patience ftw! xD

Dolls: Luts 09 Wintery on a CP type 2 body (don't ask how I did it), and Kid Delf Bory.
Difficulty: About a 6, and after this they were solid. My dog brushed right past them and they didn't even wobble.

When I bought Tarrant's body, I was told it was good at posing. No kidding! He's holding up Nika, an MSD, unassisted, and they were like a rock afterwards. Tarrant's arms and legs are wired, but no sueding, where as Nika has complete sueding, but only wire in his legs. And Tarrant was standing on my plush carpet, barefoot, with lose hip joints. ^_^

 

whoa! People got way creative with this one. The ballet pose was great minus the port de bras, but my favorite was the one handed hand stand!

 

DOD DOT Kirill- He is my friends doll, and this was the first posing I did with him.

I'd say about a 7 as that was the only time I could get him to do it with those boots on.

 

I've manged to get my doll-zone into some interesting poses.

and even more amazing. My fantasy-doll on one foot. He is loosely strung, and has horrible balance. Still not sure how my friend manged to get him to do this.

 

Taking a cheshire to work is a bad idea one is easily distracted with balancing acts.

This may not seem so impressive, but she's the only one of my two dolls who can balance on one foot. It was made even more difficult with the fact that she has a heavv head and a weak ankle on one leg. but it was awesome at how long she held the pose after I did it!

I'll admit that my Gerard is not the best poser, but I also just got his body last night (thus the undies and shirt not meant for a doll) after a week and a half of him being a floating head, so these are my first real posing ventures. Thanks for the inspiration, everyone!

This was not so bad, but for a week before Gerard's body came, I was playing with my girlfriend's Penelope (Leekeworld Edgar/Customhouse Ai) who is sitting in the background, and she could not stand on one leg for the life of her. I think she needs to be strung tighter and definitely sueded, so that's not entirely her fault. Gerard really impressed me here!

I tried sitting Penelope on his shoulders, but they took a scary tumble. Both of them are in dire need of tightening and sueding.

So, I had pulled off one of my boy's legs from the knee down and I got him to stand on the one foot he had left. Note, I didn't alter the length of the elastic inside of him, so I did this while the tension in his torso was wonky. I don't know if I have any pics though (I'm at work, so I don't have all of my photos with me). To be somewhat on topic for now I'll post one of him in the same outfit/missing leg.

I will admit that in this particular picture he is leaning against the tree, but I couldn't get him to stand in the grass for anything.

Once I get home again I'll look for a pic of him free standing.

 

Not the best picture ever, but here's my old Volks MSD Toppi standing on one foot. These sorts of poses are pretty hard for Volks MSDs, specially the older models. So I'd say this was about a 7.

 

this doesn't seem that impressive until you look closely at what she's standing on and realize it was a windy day.

 

The picture doesn't show it fully, but she's leaning waaaaay forward... in stockings that make her unstable even when standing normal!
I did get her to stand on one foot ONCE, but I can't find the picture aaanywhere >.< it's so weird... I know I took the picture D:

This is a Minifee Lishe a-line body with cutie legs and small bust.

I hope this counts because, she can do this pose on her own, but in this photo she's leaning on the wall. Just because she's a bit loose and I couldn't get her to hold it long enough for me to fluff around with my camera But she CAN do it, I did this pose originally late at night and didn't have my camera on me, and she held it for about ten minutes before I picked her up again and put her back on the shelf, so I don't know how long she could've held it. But then when I tried to do the pose again the next day I couldn't get her balanced as well, so she would slowly flop after about a minute (yes I do take a while to set my camere )

hardest pose i got my epidos into :3 he cant do one foot (theres no sideways movement in the joint) so this is the best i could get. he has great balance though.
