best balance ever

I can finally add to this thread! XD I just got my MNF Chiwoo boy, and noticed that he was posing great out of the box... So I took my crew to the local park to test Kaleb's posing.
Turns out, it's pretty awesome.

With my Latidoll Blue, Lia. Difficulty of pose-probably 2.5/5, as that took a little to get him to hold her (wouldn't until it was Lia's head instead of Elissa's). It's a cute shot of his knock-knees. Apperantly Lia was heavier than Lotte....

With my Bambicrony girl, Lotte. Difficulty-1.75/5. Took a little tweaking, but really easy overall.

To show that his knees were bent. Man I love the MNF body now.

Between switching out the two he just kind of... Did this. XD I have no idea why or exactly how. Difficulty- 0/5, as he did this on his own.

Another easier one, this time breakdancing! Difficulty-.5/5

Oddly, harder than breakdancing-it took awhile to get him to just hold it in the right position, without him falling over and without the bow dropping. Difficulty-1.5/5

And the HARDEST. I got two shots off before Lotte fell, and it took forever to set up. Difficulty-easily 3.5/5

These pictures aren't the greatest, but they show some of the weird poses I've stuck Haikiri in. He's a Dollzone Hid and has been hotglue sueded.

Wow there are so many awesome poses O_O I think mine is pretty neat, but not nearly as impressive as some of them.

The doll holding the other one is an Angellstudio Cain (version 2)
difficulty was maybe a 3/10 it wasnt hard and he stood like that until I took several pics and then put him back to normal. He didnt fall ^_^

Really easy to get him to stand on one leg, trick was getting it to look natural XD
The only really amazing part is that I left him standing like that for about a half hour with no problems before my cat tried to knock him over. His left foot is about an inch above the table?

He's sueded and wired, but I could get him to do something similar before all that as well.

 

This crouch was actually only about a 2/10 in difficulty to do with THIS doll (Fantasy Doll Charlotte) however none of my other kids will bend like this for me without falling over.

While my husband was using my computer to play online poker, I decided to experiment with some posing with the dolls!

Again I used my DZ Ian, this time with my CustomHouse Ai Shushu in her mermaid outfit!

The first one wasn't that hard. I just positioned his hands in front of him and laid her in them!


This one took a bit more balancing on both fo their part. What finally got it was his hand being up there to help steady her!

 

This one required more balancing than standing on one leg usually does for me, so I think it counts as an amazing pose.

 

None of these dolls are mine. I took this at a doll meet i went to in March. MSD Gymnastics. =] I'd say it was maybe a 5 or 6, It took a bit of time.. and they fell over a few times.. T_T

 

Here's a photostory thread I did of my Kid Delf's posing abilities. None of these poses were above a 4 or 5 in difficulty for her. I loves her to bits!

Difficulty of pose: 6 cause the Dollfie Dream was a little hard to balance in the heels and because the Kid Delf is heavier so it was kind of a top heavy pose

I love how my boy poses, he's not wired or sueded this is what he can do straight out of the box.

I find it hard to rate these because he does them all first time with little or no effort:

First got him to do this

And was amazed!!! Wasn't too hard, I just stood him up and then lifted his other leg and it worked like a breeze!
So, I then played aroudn wih him and got him to do these too! These were much easier then the first tho!

A little difficult to get him to lean backwards without falling over

May look easy, but with him leaning backwards and be top ehavy, it posed a bit of a problem!

He didn't want to stand on his feet flat in this one. They kept bending under him.

Well his foot in the back kept folding under, he didn't want to stand on his toe there

Ease of Pose: 1? It was amazingly easy, I only had to slowly set him down and he just... stayed. O_o first time ever. XD

now this is on a cruise ship deck in rough waves and high winds neither of those dolls are sueded. and they never fell when it was just the two of them once i got them up. when i tried sticking on the third they'd come crashing down. but other than that a good 20 minutes like that after tha camera died and i had to change batteries. and to make it better the one on top couldn't stand on his own it seemed on the deck with the wind and waves.

I did a photoshoot recently, that was brought outside after a while, and...well, here he is. Totally unassisted. Running >carefully< across the deck to get my camera, I never took my eyes from him, ready to dart over there and catch him if he started losing his balance. This wasn't as hard as trying to get him to stand barefoot on the carpet, surprisingly. XD



And yes, that is a full-fledged LEAN. Leaning against the birdfeeder for support.

 

Hard for the fact that Usagi is standing on a VERY squishy couch >_<

This amazed me because he didn't fall even though there really wasn't a great, stable surface for him to stand on @_@;;

 

I was just playing around with Eloni and this is what ended up happening. :P





She's actually balancing on her tippy toe with that one foot.

 

I could not believe how hard it was to pose her, on say, one foot. I think it was because of a few things...she is pretty tightly strung, and she doesn't have that middle separation cause she is a lati green.



The first was a 4, not to bad but still hard
Middle is a 7, it took some time, but I got it. She fell promptly after the shot
the last was like a 9, WOW, that felt like it took forever to pose her, but i got it!

He's not supported at all and is on a wooden baby gate on his head. :O

Wasn't even hard to get him to stay..I'd say like a 3.

Ok, here's a few shots I have of my kids. Please ignore the photoshoped blood as I can't take it out.
Doll Type: MNF Shushu Vamp(B-Line)
Difficulty: 2
In this one, Kaimei is being attacked from a distance by an ancient vampire, her master. It took a little bit to get her to bend her knees into a crouching position and then keep her from falling over when I made her lean forward, holding her chest.


Doll Type: MNF Shushu Vamp, AR Cien Boy
Difficulty: 4
This one was a little tricky cause I was dealing with limited standing room on the shelf and had Kaimei(Shushu) nearly falling to her knees with Tohaku(Cien) holding her up to carry her wounded body away. Kaimei kept on being a pain and wanting to take a swan dive off the shelf, taking Tohaku with her.


Doll Type: AR Cien Boy
Difficulty: 3
This one wasn't too much an effort since this was after I re-sueded Tohaku. Oh yes, Tohaku has a little captain in him.


Seeing everyone else's pics have given me some ideas, so hopefully I'll have more of these.

Not super dynamic or anything, but I really liked how these poses turned out.

 

Some practise posing with my big girl. None of these were very hard but then again, she's got a slight torso mod to ease things up.





Stretch


This one was the hardest... and also the most fun to me. (Her butt's in the air xD)

She bends to a lot of the same poses that the MNF a-line body does. Oh, how I love CP and their body sculpts.

 

Not overly amazing but considering Adonis never ever sits up on his own without leaning on something this blew my mind. I just randomly placed him down on my knee expecting him to fall over and instead he held this pose even when I moved his hands and head:









I also have difficulty with him keeping his hands up against his face but for once one stayed up without having to be held there:



Afterwards he went back to being defiant and had to lean against my leg (I had gotten off the phone at this point, I think he was just doing it earlier for attention -__-; ):

 

This is my favorite difficult pose for Tansy.



Overall difficulty was a 6 probably. She wanted to stay in the tree, but her feet were't co-operating! lol

Difficulty of Pose: about a four



This one was tricky because of the knobbly branch and the uneven floor. Once I got it, he stood like a rock. Doing this pose on a flat table, with a small box is about a two. Just a matter of finding the balance.

This is 'Nema at a dollmeet. She's on an unsueded Flexi Perennial body. She's floppy as hell, but she held this pose for about twenty minutes and I was SO PROUD. And then she fell over while I had her standing firmly on her own two feet. Difficulty: finding her balance was about a 5, but once I figured it out it's about a 2.



Plotbunnytiff's Critter and my new Hound Lassa. Difficulty: 2. Lassa's a good stander and Critter loves latching onto things.



Lassa again (with my cat, Miss Vivi, who was scoping out this thing that keeps stealing her mommy's attention). He's a bit embarrassed. Difficulty: 3. Those pants are TIGHT.

 

Really random. >_o Top = Mine, Zephyr, bottom = Yashito's Dremlin.

 

This one was taken a couple months ago, and I am VERY proud of it. Why? Because I loosened him by adding a hair tie. Oh yes. He was pretty floppy, and he held this pose when he couldn't while he was tight!! I was just playing around, so I think the difficulty may have been only a 4 or 5! I have no idea how he did it.

this was probably an 7ish it was easy to get the 1st cupple to stand (one with the lut's hdf) the 2nd cupple were a nightmare (kept trying to fall down and drag the other one with them) and what you can't see in some pictures is there is a pair dancing in the background (wishel and puki) the puki would stand but the wishel wouldn't happily do it.

Tree shots. Both my Issac and Pado seem to do well in trees. Poor Fox had to get bagged to stay on the branch.

 

I got inspired to do this pose when bored earlier on, just to see if they could do it! Kismet, my MNF Chiwoo, is my best stander out of all of my dolls, and he lived up to my expectations. XD I honestly thought that another Mini Fee would be too heavy for him to hold! Kismet is on an old B-Line body, and Bally (Seorin) is on an A-Line body.



And to prove they aren't being propped up...
