A friend has a pair of shoes she bought for her Mirodoll body that don't fit it, so she's been wanting to try them out on Wyatt. I'm not sure where they're from, but if they fit we'll be sure to share the news. (Cause uh, big feet.)

I had hoped since the heads seemed small they might work on an IH... then the numbers made me thing maybe on a SoulDoll zenith... well the numbers work?... can anyone tell me if one of these heads wold work on a zenith ^^? and if the resins could come close? (NS prefered since I have that in zenith)

 

Hello! I would like to ask to those who have this handsome boy, specially vevet... how are they posing? can they sit properly (I mean, withe their spines straight)? is hard to make them stand?

So we just restrung Wyatt today. I have to say, the inside of their bodies are.... interesting. A few extra joints that I've never seen before but it wasn't too hard to put him back together after taking him apart. (Unlike, say, the Minifees/F60 we have, or the MegaGem.) Some of the resin inside is reaalllyy thin and his silicone is poking through but it seems to only be in the shoulders and doesn't effect anything about him, which is nice. (I also enjoy how every little part of him seems to be stamped with either L or R (including the inside of his butt? Which is weird because usually you can tell which cheek is which lol) But! He has pants now, and two shirts (and a snazzy jacket) and as soon as the weather stops being really gross and finals are over with, I'm looking forward to getting some photos of him by his lonesome (and not with his girlfriend ^^; )

Nonexistent- I just double checked since we restrung him, but he doesn't sit very well. Some of that comes from the fact that if he's in his boxers, the joints eat them and don't click into place as well, but his lack of sitting is much like any of my other dolls that don't have a hip joint. You have to hunch the underbust joint, and mess with the legs to get him to lean forward a little so he sits. (IF he sits.) He stands a little better once he was restrung, but he suffers from what I call "Iplehouse ankles" (since my JIDs both have the issue, as do every other size I've played with.) The leg is sculpted in a more oval/rectangle shape so that the food really only fits one direction and has been known to slip. Vevet said that if you take the silicone out of the foot he'll stand better, but we ourselves haven't tried that. Shoes also help usually (they do with my JIDs, and my Dreamingdoll) but we don't have shoes to test the theory. (Also, sometimes they might stand better than another. One of my JIDs can stand no problem without shoes, and the other one - bought at the same time and the same body - has issues standing.)

 

Nonexistent: Oh sorry, I don't saw your question. In general he's a very good poser. Sits very good (with no boxers LOL). Stand good too (without the silicon pads) A guy like that, tall I would recommend a doll stand. I would never let him stand alone because... well While bigger they are, the harder they fall. and as bandit1971 said, I confirms shoes helps a lot.

I love all of these pictures, and I love this doll. I'm going to order either Wood or IOS 80 Anarmonia within the next month. I may just break down and order them both, and they can be a couple . The only things that slightly bother me about this doll are that his neck is so slender, and that he really looks oddly like one of my college professors from before I graduated. For some incredibly inexplicable reason, dolls that resemble people I know in real life totally freak me out. I'm sure I could faceup him to look different though, just no company faceup! The same thing happened to me with the soom Sabik. I was so in love with him, until I realized that he looked eerily like my friend Sabrina and it just put me off for some reason! Sorry for the tangent, haha!

Wow this doll is absolutely amazing!! He is literally the only male bjd I've ever wanted. I was quite taken aback by his size... but im sure I can manage.:P
How long can layaways go for? This may sound silly, but I dont want to get him too soon. I would rather I get him next year but I dont want to risk not actually purchasing him and then missing out. I've got quite a problem here... :/

I'm not sure how long for layaways. I finished min in about a month and a half because I wanted to keep it short for YG and myself. ^^ Best bet would be to email YG and ask him. He won't start making your doll till 50% is paid as well.

I just ordered him during the Christmas time, so don't know how long it will be, but I also ordered blank and without layaway.

 

a note about Doll peddler... I don't think I have ever seen a 'blank' of any doll she has... so don't go looking for blanks there. She also tends to buy 'full sets' and if need be break up the sets later to sell by parts...

Do you guise ever think YG would make a smaller male doll in the future? (Like more 50-60cm?) Since this is there age27 range, maybe they will add other 'ages'?

 

That's about what I got. xD He really did stress the "don't cancel" part though, so I got that rule twice and then he repeated a few more times.

In news about my boy... He ended up being sent to the wrong town, so he's been delayed by a day. I'm hoping for him to be delivered tomorrow so I can take A LOT of pictures of him without worrying about work. xD

Turnaround time... uhhh. YG will say 30-40 business days at least, I think. I paid 1/2 off my boy on 11/19 and he shipped 1/5. So about 30-35 days. But since he had an event he may have more orders, so i'd say 2 months for an estimation.

 

Yeah, thats completely understandable about cancellations, especially since they are still small.
Im hoping to get Wood ^__^ Maybe at the end of the year or if they ever have another event later on. I hope hes still available by then Though YG did inform me not to worry about him selling out too soon. I'm in Kansas and EMS shipping was $90. EMS has tracking and is usually fairly quick, three or four days in transit.

 

I have always gotten a tracking number by email. Just email YG. He will be happy to tell you the shipping cost.

Unfortunately box openings aren't permanent. You need to put the good body shots and review in a gallery thread. I ca see why DOA thinks that way. A lot of box openings don't have long term interest.

 

box opening threads with zero activity for 6 months are culled if it's a popular one it lasts... not popular it goes... that's 'how' DoA does it.

 

Too bad... but I think it make sense.

In the meantime, he's "wearing" a pair of jeans from eBay that are for 70cm guys. They're actually long enough in the legs, and amazingly enough, with some work, I was able to get them over his righteous booty, but no way is the top closing or is he going to sit!

Good news: he fits a shirt I made for my EID boys, and EID boots!

This guy is really well engineered! I knew that going in, but actually seeing and handling him in person..!
He does have the funky resin someone already mentioned earlier, where he's smooth and rough in random areas. Doesn't bother me too much.
I really like his posting and movement!!!

It appears I got #25/50. The certificate is dated September 2014? Has he been made that long ago? Or was that just the body, and the wait time of six weeks was for YG to make the Star head? I'm confused.... but I'll live.

I think YG uses the order date for the certificate date. Maybe that's the first thing he does!

 

It would make sense for 'numbered' items... accurately show who got it first meaning who jumped in for the purchase... If I decide and am the very first person to 'buy'... I don't want an item #3 because mine took longer? So I'd bet that's a good call on the info ^^

Though im not sure when you guise placed your layaway/payment so maybe it is numbered by when the first payment was made like Lady Tiku said

My CoT says 2013.09.09.... so i'm confused as well... I had to double check it to see the date.
I started my layaway in November... So I ordered before aernath.

We did get different sculpts, so that may be why mine is higher(more woods sold over time than stars)?
